Our last dream "chase" is now done!

Well, we’ve had our last trip during the YOAMD last week and now we’re done. For one more week the “chase” was on with the goal of finally winning something substantial, mainly a castle stay. We did win Dream Fastpassess at DHS and Dream Ears also at DHS. We got picked to take a backstage tour of the Car Stunt show (very, very cool!), but no castle stay. We got very very close to winning something big but I’ll post that crazy story on another post (so, so close!!). We were quite sad leaving the park for the last time and won’t know what to do with ourselves when we go back early next year. We won’t be going early in the morning anymore. We have to train ourselves not to always be on the lookout for the tan pants, blue shirts and white vests. We may go back and visit Universal Studios and Seaworld again…that’s cool I guess. And mainly we’ll relax!

Our final tally was 8 Dream Fastpasses and 2 Dream Ears. We also got Family of the day at AK, DHS, and Epcot. A personal Safari and First Family on the safari, Princess of the Day and the aforementioned stunt show tour. A lot of work went into most of those wins!!!

Overall, I feel it was GREAT promotion and wouldn’t trade our time for the world (ok, I’d trade all of our ‘wins’ for a castle stay!). Disney did a great job and we had so so much fun. If money was no object we would fly down again and give it another go before it ended (yes, we’re obsessed!).

Your video is great. Excellent music choice too. We've been to WDW over 75 times since the promotion started. Here's our count: Dream FP's all four parks (just once each), dream ears once, 18 sets of Tink pins (DS9 is a real charmer), 2 free ice creams, two VIP seatings for FOTLK, several rides on Test Track with Elton of the Dream Squad. We've seen a $500 shopping spree get awarded to the family behind us at DHS and saw the castle stay awarded twice. We consider ourselves the lucky ones. Not many people go once a week.

I was on the Cinderella's carousel and the Dream Team was waiting for someone to sit on a particular horse. I rode twice without getting off since no one was ever on. I think it was only 1/4th full. Didn't win.
