We got to the Poly around 10:00 am and checked in. Our room wasnt going to be ready until 1pm (the CM actually said 1pm) so we headed to the MK. It was a bit more crowded than when we left and we knew it wasnt going to be an easy transition going from ride to ride at our leisure. We headed back to the Poly around 1:30, fully expecting our room to be done and it wasnt. We just hung around for awhile and I listened to everyone complain how they just wanted to get to the room and unpack and relax. I kept checking back with the front desk to see about our room, but I was given attitude. The CM stated the housekeepers have until 4:30pm in a really rude obnoxious tone. Ok buddy, calm down . . .geeze you said 1pm . . .I was a bit put off by his rudeness. In the end though, we got to our room around 3:15pm and I had requested Fiji, 3rd Floor, facing the marina, I was granted all three requests. We had room #3320. WOW! The room was HUGE! It was like a suite . . .I didnt feel as good about the Poly as I thought I would. We stayed there in 2000 and loved it, but this time, even though the room was huge and the view was nice (saw the Contemporary and SM) it did seem to be needing another updating. It just wasnt as clean and nice as the Beach Club was . . .I was sort of regretting having to spend the next 2 nights there.
Well, after we got settled in, we took off for Epcot for a little bit to walk around World Showcase and we did some shopping at Mousegears before heading back to the Poly.
