Our Land and Sea Vacation 3/21-27 Update 7/5 P.16 The last night

:headache::mad: What a ripoff! You should have shown up at 7 and demanded to be fed!
We should have. I'm pretty sure I could wrestle Pooh to the ground if I needed to

You want to waste 8 hours of every vacation day by literally doing nothing? Blasphemy!
Exactly. The kids can sleep when they are back in school, or on the car ride home.

I believe you. I saw the reflection of some of the people in a store window. I zoomed in 700% and enhanced the picture to crystal clear clarity with just a few mouse strokes.
What? They do it on CSI all the time...

All this time I've been doing it wrong. I just yell "enhance" at my monitor.. no wonder nothing's happened.

I'm note sure I want to know the answer to this, but do you store them in a large building on a hill and go swimming in them?:confused3
We'll it's not a large building yet.

No one except everyone at your high school graduation because this photo will be blown up to poster sized and placed right next to the buffet line.

It may also be displayed poster size in our foyer for any company who comes by.

Just use "up and down spinny horsey ride". The words a much smaller. :thumbsup2
Thanks for the tip.

There's a limit on these things?!?
Uh oh. I've got some rewriting to do for the rest of my TR entries. :sad2:

I guess I should rephrase that. I've reached my quota of semi-humorous Pooh jokes.

I'm so glad you made it! Now I get to watch someone else's wife correct a trip report. Not that that's going on at my TR or anything. :sad2:

Uh-oh it looks like the correction has spread beyond this thread.

Well, it is too bad that you missed the first hour of rides due to breakfast, but at least you came through with some excellent Fast Pass strategy! :thumbsup2

Thanks gotta get as many BTMRR rides in as possible

I'm starting to get a sudden craving for bacon. :confused3
There are times when you aren't craving bacon?:confused3

There's no quota as long as they're funny... :rolleyes1
Then I exceded that quota a long time ago.

Sorry I'm late to the party! I hate to miss out on a fellow DISDad TR. I think I'm all caught up now, and can't wait to hear about the Dream. You've got a very entertaining and witty style. Really enjoying the write-up.

Oh, and I checked the rule book. There is no limit on Pooh jokes. So let 'em fly!

Mark that is a huge compliment coming from you. I had a long layover on this trip so I sent almost an hour an a half this morning reading through your last trip report. That's some good stuff.

Wow! You didn't suffer any seizures? The FDA usually restricts people from spending more than 15 minutes reading my drivel at any time.

Seriously, though, thanks for reading along!

When I left off we were all spinning wildly on the teacups. Thanks to the magic of photo editing I can share that dizzy slightly sick feeling with all of you.

If you're going to spew, spew into this.

We left the teacups and meandered towards BTMRR. Along the way we stopped for a chronologically inaccurate Cinderalla's life photoshoot. We started with the castle.

Mom let me use one of her edited pics for the first in that group. Note how much better it is than the normal stuff I am pulling.

After that we headed up to Cinderella's wishing well.

They’re staring pretty intently for something that’s only 6 inches deep and has nothing in it.

We ended our tour of her life at Cinderella's Fountain. I took pics of the crown above and on her head, but can't seem to find the card with them on it. I'm sure you all know the drill.

After the fountain we rode IaSW. I'm sure you'd all like me to post the video loop from that ride, but I'll refrain. . The last time we rode Small World we were sans children so it was ideal Wikipedia browsing time. (I was trying to figure out how often they cleaned the coins out of the ride and what the $value of the coins is on an annual basis. If you have more details on the coin’s, let me know. I couldn’t find a regular cleaning interval, but the coins do go to Disney’s charity. You can find more information about coins and Disney at your local library). This time we were there with the kids so I got to enjoy the whole thing through their eyes. We all had fun looking for hidden Mickey, and I tracked our nearest exits in case of an emergency.

We survived Small World unscathed and headed to BTMRR. (Will we ever make it to this ride?)

Yes, Finally we were there. We used our first set of FP's and rode it as a family. Sis needed a little encouragement but in the end we all loved* it.

DSC_1948.jpg

*some of us may have loved it more than others.

In order to minimize long term mental scarring, Mom and I opted to take turns riding with Bro in order to use our remaining FP's.
DSC_1960.jpg

The Pooks were too small so they had to stay and watch.
DSC_1956-2.jpg

While I was waiting with Sis and trying to get pics of Mom and Bro on BTM a videographer was there filming a Spanish tv show. We were both trying to shoot from the same spot, but Mom and Bro's train came first. I took the shot and then stepped out of the way for the videographer. It could have been fun talking with him, but "Donde esta el bano" is the extent of the spanish I remember from high school and I didn't think that would lead to a good conversation. If only Mom and Bro had been on a train a couple minutes later. They could have been Spanish celebrities like :confused3.. I got nothing.

FP's used we headed over to Space Ranger Spin. At some point earlier in the day I had grabbed FP's for it. I was pretty darn excited for this ride, we've ridden it before and I've never done very well. This time I had a secret weapon. I had watched the youtube videos and memorized the locations of the 100k targets. I was ready. I was going to be a galactic hero. I'd win the button and defend my family's honor. I was being humored by my family who thought I was taking it way to seriously.

We boarded the ride, we concentrated, we aimed, we defended the Galaxy.
DSC_1965.jpg

We ... didn't get the magical 999,999. Despite my best efforts I only scored 571,000. Oh well better luck next... what? What did you say mom? You got a perfect score?
DSC_1967.jpg

How'd I do? Oh I did great. mumble mumble mumble. This is a stupid ride. Yeah I'll take your picture with your Galactic Hero button.

f3f68ed4.jpg

We left the silly game ride and went over to TTA. Sis and I love that ride.

The Pooks enjoyed it too.
DSC_1974.jpg

After we arrived back in Tomorrowland from the ride that never stops, we had to leave the park to go to Minute Clinic. Bro had been having earaches and since failed to convince him that life is PAIN, anyone who says differently is selling something, we took him to get checked out. We didn't want his head to explode or something while we were out at sea. I don't have any pictures of the Orlando Minute clinic but it was magical. We left and headed back to the resort to the swim. (Yes, I know filling your kids ears with dirty pool water isn't the first thing that springs to mind when you hear earache but the nurse assured us it was okay.)

Coming up next pool pics, more rides, dirty pool water causes bro's head to explode* and finally wishes pics

*head exploding did not actually happen, in fact Bro had no more head/ear issues after that.

Wow! You didn't suffer any seizures? The FDA usually restricts people from spending more than 15 minutes reading my drivel at any time.

Seriously, though, thanks for reading along!

Nope no seizures, but it was 3am so technically I was a little mentally impaired when I was reading it.

I just talked to Mom, she wanted to point out that not only did she get the perfect score on Space Ranger spin without any researching, she was also taking pictures of us while she played. Not that she's trying to rub it in or anything.

I thought guys were the more dominant gamers. I am in the "my wife kicked my butt on BLSRS" club also. Dont feel bad. She cant touch my TSM scores, or figure out the nunchuk on Epic Mickey either. HAHAHAHA

First of all nice Wayne's World reference. Secondly, how do you get all 9's on Space Ranger Spin? You can forward the question to your wife if you don't know :lmao::lmao:

Nice job on the gif. It's actually kind of fun to toss your cookies on the teacups. It makes a beautiful radial arch as the cup spins. :thumbsup2

Remember kids, if you don't stare into the well for 30 minutes, your wish won't come true!
You can find more information about coins and Disney at your local library.
You mean like a book. Made out of paper? How quaint.

This time we were there with the kids so I got to enjoy the whole thing through their eyes. We all had fun looking for hidden Mickey, and I tracked our nearest exits in case of an emergency.
Remember - if your boat stops, please remain seated and the music pull you slowly into a psychotic rage.

Please save this picture. Her therapist will want to see it in about 20 years.

I had to Google it, but Penélope Cruz and Antonio Banderas. So there you go.

I'm 90% sure that if I had been in this situation my thumb would have slipped over the lens during the picture.

(But nice job, Mom! :thumbsup2)

I don't have any pictures of the Orlando Minute clinic but it was magical.
I'm sure what they're going to bill your insurance company isn't going to be very magical!

I just talked to Mom, she wanted to point out that not only did she get the perfect score on Space Ranger spin without any researching, she was also taking pictures of us while she played. Not that she's trying to rub it in or anything.
Ouch.:sad2:

Enjoying your TR!! I had no idea they gave away buttons for the perfect Buzz score. Cool!

The last trip we went on I managed to beat DH on every TSM ride and one Buzz ride. He does not do well with me beating him at 'game' rides! Sometimes I feel the need to let him win so he'll continue to let me go back to WDW! :)

great update trike! nice pics. tell mom great job on the 999,999 and takin pics at the same time!!!:worship:

I am SO going to research the Buzz ride on YouTube. My DH would just die if I got a perfect score. Heck, he would be mad if I just beat his score! He takes it VERY seriously! :rotfl:

Sort of like an empty ice cream bowl. Maybe it's a forlorn-longing-type stare.

This time we were there with the kids so I got to enjoy the whole thing through their eyes.

By "enjoy", do you mean "endure the torture through gritted teeth"? :confused3

Hey, she looks just like my son did! They can have group therapy.

As long as you remember the vital phrases like that, you're fine. And what about the Bumblebee Guy from the Simpsons?

We ... didn't get the magical 999,999. Despite my best efforts I only scored 571,000. Oh well better luck next... what? What did you say mom? You got a perfect score?

Princess Bride! :woohoo:

We didn't want his head to explode or something while we were out at sea.

Yeah, it's better if your less-vital organs explode.

I'm (finally) here! Great TR so far - I can't wait to see the rest!

I thought guys were the more dominant gamers. I am in the "my wife kicked my butt on BLSRS" club also. Dont feel bad. She cant touch my TSM scores, or figure out the nunchuk on Epic Mickey either. HAHAHAHA
Maybe its just guys spend more time gaming. In this case I'm pretty sure my gun was jammed, or the sun was in my eyes or something.:lmao:

First of all nice Wayne's World reference. Secondly, how do you get all 9's on Space Ranger Spin? You can forward the question to your wife if you don't know :lmao::lmao:
:lmao::lmao:

Unfortunately I know exactly what you need to do...my body is just uncooperative.

Nice job on the gif. It's actually kind of fun to toss your cookies on the teacups. It makes a beautiful radial arch as the cup spins. :thumbsup2
Radial Arc? You just made me look that up on wikipedia, didn't realize there were non radial arcs.

Remember kids, if you don't stare into the well for 30 minutes, your wish won't come true!

You mean like a book. Made out of paper? How quaint.
You also have to look hard to see the invisible monsters.

The library quote was from the end of every episode of Voyagers and awesome but completely unrealistic tv show.

Remember - if your boat stops, please remain seated and the music pull you slowly into a psychotic rage.
That's for tomorrows TR

Please save this picture. Her therapist will want to see it in about 20 years.
Bahh! therapist. If she tells us she needs a therapist we'll make her ride it again.

I had to Google it, but Penélope Cruz and Antonio Banderas. So there you go.
Thanks for the help

I'm 90% sure that if I had been in this situation my thumb would have slipped over the lens during the picture.

Nope I'm very proud of her with very little effort getting the thing that I struggled and failed to get.

Enjoying your TR!! I had no idea they gave away buttons for the perfect Buzz score. Cool.

It was a pretty cool feat. thanks for the kudos.
