Our kitty is worse (update - she's crossed over)

Thank you for all your prayers. Trixie crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 4:30 today. Her vet was scheduled off but came in to help her cross. They gave us a plaster heart with her paw print on it and her name stamped in it. We are going to plant a flower or tree in her memory and make a little plack for it. Nick is doing better then DH actually. She was DH's baby girl. Thank you again for all the prayers.

I'm so sorry! My DH has a baby girl who turned 9 this year. I dread the day she gets sick. SHe is the first pet DH has ever been attached to in this way.

{{{HUGS}}} to your family!

Carolyn, my heart is going out to you and your DS  I am so very very sorry.....

She hurts no more though.....

How sweet that you have such a rememberence with the plaque...her little footprint to keep.

Thinking of all of you in the weeks ahead..:(

Carolyn, It has been a busy week for Rainbow Bridge. I put Rachel down on Tuesday and now yours........Well the two new cats can get together and play. It is so heart wrenching to loose our kitties. So sorry.

I'm sorry. If Dan were here, he would post this:

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place
called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet
goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and
play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and
comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those
who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember
them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss
someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and
looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers.
Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs
carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you
cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses
rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once
more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never
absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I am so very sorry for your loss. We are trying to make a decision on our Alien. She was 17 in May. Her mom is our Trixie. She was 18 in March and still doing fairly well.

And Carolyn, you know your Trixie, and Betsy knows her Rachel, and all our fur family, are all playing, waiting, waiting by the bridge. So very sorry ........
