Our Itinerary is set. Any suggestions ?

While I tend to be an over planner, we are not commando park tourists. Going over the New Years holiday though will make for a few late nights, followed by early mornings. I do like to have a plan though. All the Fast Pass selections are booked, as are the dinners. The good thing about this itinerary though is that we return home on a Thursday, giving us a 3 day weekend to recover.

I'm open to thoughts, suggestions, tweaks that all you more experienced WDW travelers may have. I'm hoping we're in good shape, as I have left rest time and travel time to and from the hotel to parks. BTW....we are staying at All Star Movies this trip. Our favorite, Wilderness Lodge, was just too pricy this trip.

I recommend trying some place newer at DS - like D-Luxe burger or Blaze Fire Pizza.

Earl has been an old stand by for years. As you suggest, there may be a few better choices since our last visit. That arrival day is a relaxed time. We'll check out a few other menus and see what looks good. Crowd size may make the choice for us.

Are you planning on looking for an earlier FP on 1/1 instead of Nemo at 8:30? I'd be surprised if you even need a FP at that time even during high crowd levels.

FYI, park hours were just updated recently... I noticed some of your times on 12/30 and 12/31 are now stale (didn’t look at your other dates). Better double-check and update where needed.

THANKS guys. These are exactly the little insights I was looking for. I will update park hours to the new times and see if I need t tweak anything. The Nemo FP was a filler. Nothing really exciting earlier we liked and the one from column A and one from column B thing ruled some rides as FP. With the park so full because of New Years, we figured any Fast Pass would avoid a line. I have the app loaded on my phone and we'll keep track of those kind of things.

I undertand the reasning behind why you are taking hotel breaks on the 30th and the 1st, i just personally wouldnt. The amount of time to leave thepark, get to the bus and on the bus, back to resort. Long walk to room.... you will be close to getting ready to leave to go back. Ie say you leave pirates at 130. Its 2 by time you are on bus. 230 until you are in room. Then you show back at park around 430. To me the hour is not worth it for the transportation. Just to go back to same park. Thats just my opinion. But rest looks good. Either way-have agreat vacation we will be in MK on the 4th at BOG. Hoping for the hours to stay the same so we can get on mine train before heading off to HM
