I received this neat little booklet in the mail today that has our reservation details, hotel we are staying in, steps to take up to our arrival, etc. Very exciting :yay: I have never received one of those before. Since they mail those and the luggage tags to Canadian addresses, I wish they would also mail the MagicBands.

I wish they would also mail the MagicBands.

I noticed that our DME letter/yellow luggage tags had over $6 US in postage, so I'd imagine shipping MBs to Canada might just cost more in postage than the bands cost Disney in the first place. We don't "need" the bands to travel to disney but we sure do need the DME info before leaving home, so Disney is stuck having to send those to us. Until they cut back on that too...

The Incredible vacation booklets have been around for 2 or even 3 (?) years now. They used to have a little fridge magnet with your important dates that you could peel off the last page of the booklet.

I thought maybe they didn't mail the bands as the other stuff is mailed from Canada, at least the stuff I've received seems to come from Mississauga, I think it was Mississauga lol. I'll check the next one if they mail it out again.

They've been mailing the booklets for years. And they come in a regular envelope. Magic bands would require package post, and since its international, would be much more expensive than the contents are worth.

Yes, I realize postage is the reason, just saying it would be nice to have them and be able to go straight to the parks or room upon arrival like those who do get them in advance. With the inception of on-line check-in hopefully there are no longer huge line ups at the resort for check-in. Last time I checked into Pop, we were in the check in line for quite some time. I haven't been in some years so I'm sure things (such as the little booklet) have changed.

My envelope was mailed from the U.S. - Int'l Priority Airmail U.S. Postage Paid, Philadelphia, but no actual stamp so I don't know the cost.

Over the years, I've noticed the mailings come from a few different places. There is (was) an Ontario mail source but I've found that they can come from any of their mail centres. I'd imagine it would depend on how busy any one of them are at any given time. Our DME mail came from Kentucky.

Shows how much I know :laughing:Guess I'll look and see where my newest booklet comes from whenever they decide to mail it out.

If you have magic bands from previous visits (within 2 years) they will be active as well as any new ones you order. We had 3 active bands each last visit but this spring the oldest set are listed as inactive. You just have to bring one set to activate your room and park passes before you pick up your new ones (if you bother to order). The My Disney Experience app will tell you what bands are still working.

Mine just came yesterday and i wasn't even expecting on this trip since we're renting points for DVC unit. Super exciting to see this show up in the mailbox makes the trip that much more REAL

If they have some sort of mailing office on this side of the border, I don't know why they can't have an office that programs and ships magics bands too.
