Our house got "SKUNKED" ... we got it in the trap!

I am hoping & praying that ALL of my CM supplies aren't damaged!

It seems the little critter is living under our front porch. We hope that we catch him in the trap that the wildlife company set on Tuesday.

I have NO desire to touch ANY of my scrapping & this was my month (April) to do lots of catching up!

I am SO bummed!

Yikes! You mean the inside of your house has the actually spray oil or water ever it is they shoot out!?!?!?
If so I would think you should contact your insurance company! How in the world do you desmell a house... Oh I feel for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

please say it is only at night
if he is out during the day it means he is rabbid
(we had one in our backyard last spring and ended up tearing down a shed cuz of the critter)

That is horrible! I feel for you. I've never encountered one and I don't want too! How would you even begin to get the smell out of everything? You poor thing. Good luck.

I hope they can offer at least financial assistance with clean up!

If you need some "Fresh paper" give a holler... I always have extra lying around! Times like this, "The scrapping must go on!"

I "think" my unopened paper is fine. I am waiting a couple of weeks before I touch any of my stuff!

While we were on vacation a couple of years ago, my Mother was watching our dog. Well, our dog came in contact with a skunk. She put him in our laundry room without bathing him!! Our house smelled soooo bad. Nice surprise when you get home from vacation. The smell does go away. It just takes awhile. If your scrapbook stuff is in a tote, I would leave it there for a little bit. I wouldn't take any chances.

yep, the same thing happened to our dog. She got "skunked" and immediately ran into the house, through all of the rooms, stinking them up. She smelled for a long time afterwards; eventhough the direct smell went away, when she got wet, she still smelled like it!
