Our hotel portion of our trip was upgraded!

If you are staying there ask for a faxed confirmation and bring it with you!!! Like I said in a previous post they didn't have our reservation in there computers. They also didn't have our hopper passes for the parks when we got there and couldn't explain why. As it turned out they were at the Dolphin and our reservation was for the Swan. We arrived at 11 a.m. and we usually check our bags get our KTTW card and go to one of the parks 'till a room is ready. When we styaed at WDW resourts our KTTW card worked both hotel rooms and room on the ship. It was the same "charge card" also. Thus elimination an extra check-in on the ship. Don't get me wrong......the rooms in the Swan and Dolphin are very nice and the pools and eating areas are great.....but for me I's no thanks.

Now I love the DOLPHIN! I love to swim in the big pool and look up, you feel like you are miles away when right behind you there is a parking lot. It might not have the Disney feel, but it has it's own charm. The lobby is a great big open space, look up in the balloon type ceiling. The kids love the food there, great ice cream. My only complaint would be the big pool has a large waterfall so the water in the pool can be cool in the non-summer months. I also like the Swan, we stayed there in June. My nephew wanted a peanut bettuer and jelly sandwich since he can't have them at home with his sister's allergies, they went out of their way at Gulliver's to find bread and the ingredients. They came to the table with the biggest triple decker sandwich I have ever seen. He ate every last bite he was so thrilled. There is also the best sushi place on Disney property at the Dolphin.

So a place is what you make it, and geting to MGMand Epcot is so easy wit the boats. Enjoy and we will see you on the WONDER!

I think you're talking about Kimonos -- it's in the Swan. That's my DHs absolute favorite and is a MUST EAT every WDW visit. It's fun...they have Karaoke every night, too!
