My Husband, son, and I were standing in line in front of you down the staircase at Ariel's grotto! I think my hubby took the picture of you two on the stairs. I was just reading through your TR and saw that pic and did a double take.

It's a Small world after all!

Day 5 cont:
It's getting to be a little silly to me how little time I have to do my trip reports

So after our flight through never land we headed over to Toady you can tell Jared is well fed and in a good mood because he hammed it up a bit for the camera lol

Next up Pinochio (my least fave no joke the whale scares me I know im silly but hes freaky >.<)

After that we did nothing that makes any kind of sense lol we walked over to Adventure land and did tiki room where I got a dole whip and watched the tiki room (if you read my October Trip report you know this was a big YAY!!)

from there we walked through the hub

I told Jared he wasnt smiling he insisted he was and I pointed out no one can tell because of his facial hair or sea moss as Crush says so he did this

and wound up at our personal Fave Astro Blasters

Then we start to make sense again and decide its time for a nap and head up mainstreet, we decided to stop and pick up the candy our family requested as well as some treats for ourselves
We shared this strawberry....if share means that I gave Jared 1 bite lol So Yummy

Um incase anyone wants to know yes I gained weight on this trip and it was sad but more then a little worth it lol snacks anyone ?

Nap time!
After we woke up we headed over to DCA through the Grand Californian we took a few pictures on the way

I can tell you Jared really apreciates this one lol

Day 5 Cont
We entered DCA through the grand and walked towards Beuna Vista street through Condor flats we stoped to watch Minnies Fly girls, I thought the show was pretty cute

I dont recommend standing on the edge to view the show the view isnt that great and you kinda of get moved around alot they tell you to stand there before it starts then they move you so the fly girls can come through then they ask you to move back then they move you so minnie can come through and then put you back. Also the view isnt great as you can see from the photos. However you do get a pretty good view of the talking Minnie because she stops at the edge of the stage for a few seconds. Jared was pretty impressed by it. I had never seen it in person, but thought it looked great!

After the show we continued our walk over to Cars land for yet another ride on Radiator springs Racers (my Favorite!!!)

after that we were starving so we headed to pacific warf for some yummy soup sooo good its one of my favorite disney meals I had the tomato soup and hot tea

Jared got some sort of chinese chicken I want to say its orange, but I honestly don't remember he says it was good though

After we finished eating we went over to see if we could wait for world of color yet (we picked up our complimentary fast passes from the hotel when we napped ) we couldn't yet so we got some hot chocolate ( I wanted the cars souviner mug for my mom she loves both Coffee and Tow mater lol) and sat on a planter to wait for them to open up. We waited for some time and didnt notice anyone being allowed into the seating (aka standing) area, but all of a sudden a cast member aproached us. She said with a little attitude to us, Are you planning on seeing world of color? to which we said yes and she then said Well do you have a fast pass? and we said yes (well I said Duh...I didnt like her attitude) she was stunned for a a few seconds (I assume she wanted to tell us off for thinking we could watch the show from the planter I did here here telling off the family that had been sitting next to us after we started to walk away) and then asked to see them so Jared showed then to her and she siad oh you can go in the waiting area. I did not know there was a waiting area it seemed a little awkward when we arrived it was like a roped off area in front of where the standing areas are and we had to stand in it, like cattle in a pin. Finally after about 20 mins we went in to sit and wait.

Here the Camera died...again Im not a fan of our tiny new camera and neither is Jared I tried to talk him in to returning it, but I dont think he wanted the hassle.
So I have only two more pictures from Day 5 they are of us waiting for WOC in the standing area Jared would not take any of the show hes afraid of getting his phone wet and I was cold and wrapped up in our blanket the whole time.
so here they are lol

after that we scurried away from the disperseing crowds, exited through the Grand and headed back to our hotel for some sleepy time.

Well thats all for today next time I have a few minutes Ill start day 6!

Day 6
On day 6 we woke up bright an early for a 9:30 Breakfast reservation at carnation cafe. We arrived at Disneyland at 9 when they allowed guests on to main street we wondered around main while we waiting for carnation cafe to open.

soon it was time for breakfast

Jared ordered a cinnamon spice hot chocolate he said it was delcious
I ordered the Huevos Rancheros one of my favotire breakfasts. It was tasty and filling but I did not like the hard shells used I prefer a soft tortilla.

Jared ordered Oscars special

After we finished breakfast we headed over to Indiana Jones, Jared asked the cast member if the wait time on the sign was correct it said 25 mins but it looked pretty backed up. The cast member said it should be but gave Jared this card and told him we could find out lol

it was correct we waiting about 28 minutes exactly lol.
From there we headed over to haunted Mansion, I dont know why Im posing this way but it looks pretty silly

from there we took a ride on Pirates

Then we hopped on the train and headed to Toon town
I never noticed the name on this dog house it your an Indiana Jones buff you will also find it amusing

Day 6 Cont

Jared was amused to find the Chevy bow tie in Mickeys house

Jared was getting pretty hungry so after a spin on Rodger Rabbit we stopped for a bite Jared ordered a pizza which he said was awful and I had a Mickey Ice scream bar which was delicious

From there we took the long walk back over to Adventure land for a cruise through the jungle.

Next we decided to head over to Pirates Lair

After that we went back to our hotel and had a nap

we finshed up our rest and decided to head in to DCA we started with Radiator springs racers

After our race we decided it was time for something to eat To taste pilots we went yum yum

I cant remeber if we ordered anything more specific then two cheese burgers

after our yummy burgers we headed over to a bugs land

we strted with Fliks Flyers

we moved on to Heimlichs Chew chew train

Then headed on over to the little mermaid it was a bounce around sort of day

and across the bay for a ride on toy story

I win this round
We then decided to play some board walk games or rather Jared made an attempt at winning me some prizes lol

at the next game Jared actually won, but it was against a little boy and we werent about to take the prize so we gave it to him lol

After that we headed back to our hotel for a good sleep and that ends day 6

I'm digging this trip report quite a bit. My fiancee and I just went to Disneyland for the first time last year, and she's trying to convince me to spend part of our honeymoon at DL as well. Which we probably will, because let's face it, we're overgrown 12 year olds most of the time.

Speaking of, where did your husband get that Donald Duck shirt from way back in your introduction? I laughed probably a little longer than I should have at that. Oh, and where exactly is that Indiana dog house? My fiancee would get a big kick out of that as well. She can pretty much quote all three of those movies by heart.

nrichards: Yes! I am a scrap booker! Its one of my favorite things to do I did both my own wedding album and this honey moon almbu and not to brag but I am pretty proud of it

tksbaskets: The Im on a boat one? I bought him that quite some time ago at Target believe it or not. We bought it for another trip our orginal plan was to take pictures of him on all of Disneylands boats, but it turned out to be harder then we expected and we only accomplished 3 lol. As for the Indiana Dog house, Theres a scene in the last crusade where his father (Sean Connery) keeps calling him Henry, This makes Indiana made and he says "would you stop calling me that! its Indiana now!" His Father answers him saying "Indiana!? We called the DOG Indiana!" its one of my favorite scenes and its on my bucket list to own a dog named Indy

Day 7
The next morning we decided to have breakfast in the room again I had some fruit and a blue berry muffin

Jared ordered the Breakfast burrito

I definitly had entre envy and ate some of Jareds burrito which I found to be DELCIOUS however, I like wet burritos, and green sauce Jared isnt a fan of either so he didnt really like it. My muffin and Fruit were also good I enjoyed the amount and varitey of fruit offered.
We headed in to DCA and went directly to the RSR fast pass line I waited in it and got some passes while Jared visited the starbucks. It was funny when I got to the front I saw two open stations and was tempted to head over to them, but I wasnt sure if I could since all the other stations were manned by a cast member, finally one of the CM's said "if you already know how to use a fast pass machine these units are open" after that it was mere seconds before I had my passes and was back at the starbucks to meet Jared.

A story to go with this next picture. This the coffee Jared handed me when I arrived back, We dont know why, but every time Jared gives his name to a resturant such as starbucks they always always hear Jerry. SO when he handed me this I was like even at Disneyland and he was like yep even at Disneyland

Jared also ordered some banana bread I swear he has an empty leg.

after drinking our coffee for a few minutes we headed over to Little mermaid, they wouldnt let Jared take his open drink on the ride so I went into the store while he finished it off here he is being grumpy about the situation lol

From there we headed over the bridge for another go on Toy story mania We stopped on our way to see Donald this was one of the best Charactor interactions Ive had in a long time, I find that sometimes as an adult the characters dont get as involved with me but good old Don was very excited by our buttons and created this pose him self. Thanks Donald!

I win again. For a gamer you would think Jared would be better at this lol

After that we headed back over to wait for Goof's Concert, Jared stopped to admire the storm clouds so we took a few pictures

We got great seats for the concert I thought for a while wed be the only Audience I sat Right next to the little gate Goofy was going to go through

While we were waiting I heard the Familiar Phineas and Ferb music so we ran up the steps to watch that show first!

I go to High five Ferb during the show I think he may have been going for a kid, but I got confused and fived him, but it was ok cause I love him and was happy to get to do it >.<
we headed back down to the viewing area to discover that our seats were still available and we were still the only ones I think by the time the show started there were like ten people and I dont know why it was an adorable show

After the show it was almost time for our RSR fast pass so we headed over to Cars land, I noticed the line for mator was pretty short and we had some time to kill so we got this picture its one of my favorites from the trip!

Then we went for a dance at Louigy's (Jared loves this ride lol despite his appearance in these picture )

when we'd finshed dancing we were able to head over to RSR

Jared was hungry again lol

Something hilariously awful happened during our ride this time, as we were loading into our vehicle it began to rain, not sprinkle but pour! so as we headed up the mountian to look at the waterfall we were getting soaked! then we when we shot out of the ride building to race the rain pelted us directly in the eyes it was pretty bad at the time, but now the story makes me giggle lol at anyrate I bought a hat to cover my rain hair and protect me from further rain and cold directly after our ride, we then headed over to ToT.

When we got into the ride vehicle they loaded what I assume to be a school group we kept running in to groups of kids with one adult through out the next couple days they were all extremely rowdy and annoying I tried to look as annoyed as possible in the photo so if they bought it or looked at it they might say hmmm were we being stupid...I doubt that would happen but hey I tried lol

from there we stopped for lunch (snack for me I try not to indulge at lunch)
I had a corn on the cobb and Jared had a Chilli Cheese dog from Award Wieners

I will leave you at lunch for now Im headed to a 1st birthday next up will be monsters inc and the Aladdin show

Looks like you guys had an amazing honeymoon! I also married and wonderful man named Jared and we also spent our honeymoon at Disneyland (well part of it anyway!)...Such a wonderful place to Honeymoon! I wish we'd thought to stay on property too *** it sounds like they give you such wonderful treatment on your honeymoon. We are planning a trip in Nov this year and are staying on Disney property for the first time....at Paradise Pier...since a park view is soooo expensive we've just booked a regular room too but what I wouldn't do for an upgrade! Your view looks AMAZING! Congratulations to you both

Day 7 cont
So after a yummy bite to eat we headed over for a ride through monstropolis

Then we decided to go see the Aladdin show, I havn't taken the time to see this one in quite a while I was disappointed in some of the changes, but other wise it was still excellent. We did have a hard time getting in though at first we weren't sure where the entrance was we asked and this guy talked down to use like we were dumb hes like well isnt this a door? and I was like that doesn't mean its a real door then when we were in the que there was like a whole crap ton of room, but they squished all up and kept telling us to squish together more I felt like some Cm's were having a bit of fun at our expense.

After the show we werent sure what we wanted to do, I suggested checking out the red wood play area and seeing the UP show we had to hustle, but we made it to the show it was really cute! I wanted a pic with Russle, but the line was pretty long, There were two girls at the show who were discussing where Dug was going to be after the show and I was like I want a pic with Dug O.O so after the show we followed them

So we followed the girls up to the front of the area and they were like are you here for dug too. I answered with of course and she told me that the guy said by the slides, but a few hours ago he had been here and that he kept showigng up where he wasnt supposed to be because of the rain (On a side note the CM's gave us three diffrent reasons why Dug wont come out in the rain and I wondered what the standard excuses for other characters are lol) Then a Photopass photographer arrived so we thought we were in the right place. One of the other girls confirmed with the photographer that she was there for Dug she said yes. Then the 5 of us struck up conversations about Up and the girls UP tatoos and other character sitings etc. Finally the photographer was like jeez where is he and she talked to another CM who said by the slide so off we went on a very long adventure lol we followed that photpass employee ALL over the red wood area finally another CM came over to here and was like you know Dug is waiting for you? he is at the TOP of the slides and so we finally found him! lol it was all very silly and fun

Then after a few more pics it was almost time for our reservation at Carthay Circle.

I really enjoyed this experience however I felt a little uncomfortable being in what felt like a very high class resurant in my theme park wear. What didnt help was they seemed to be entertaining some business big wigs that evening so alot of the people around us were all in nice clothes lol

When we arrived at our table we ordered these it was fun to be able to order them this way and not having to say cherry coke and cherry sprite

I ordered the pot roast

They were both delcious, but Jareds was a little better
After that we ordered dessert and I ordered some Jasmine Tea to go with my Dessert and it was SOOO GOOD it is one of my favorite things now.

Here is our dessert for starters I can not remeber what it was called, T.T I tried to look it up, but Im not seeing it. I think it may have been seasonal, but it was a brownie and some carmal stuff and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. They waitor told us it was big enough to share...we each got about two bites which I guess in some ways is a good thing lol, but i wouldnt say it was big enough to share.

I used the ladies room before we left it was very pretty in there.

After Dinner we headed out of the park, and over to Disneyland.
We started in Fantasy land with Snow white.

Then we headed over to finding lameo...I mean Nemo...Ok side note I really loved the old subs and Im not so fond of the nemo ones (even though I love nemo its a strange conundrum I fell like my nostalgia for the old is in the way or im just turned off by the screens instead of the anamatronics.) Also I have a friend who wont ride this because she cant see they way out should the ride break down...so half way through I also became freaked out by this lol thats what I get for thinking to much

When we got off the subs we headed up the ramp to the monorail

and rode it back to our room and that was the end of day 7

Day 8
This morning we had a breakfast reservation at Story Tellers Cafe, I have never done this character meal so I was pretty excited about it. Jared started t not feel so well this morning :-(

I had the breakfast buffet and was disapointed that there werent any mickey waffles This is what I wound up with

Jared ordered off the menu, but I was at the buffett when he did so I dont know exactly what the menu called it but it was pancakes and bacon

I took a really long time for Jareds food to come I was WAY done with my meal before it arrived. I also felt like the characters took a while to come by I was really hoping to see Meeko and we had to wait like a million years for him to come by.

After breakfast just to be rebels we went through DCA and went into Disneyland
We started with the Haunted Mansion

Then we headed over to Critter Country for a ride on Winnie the pooh

Then we took the Grand circle tour on the train

We got off at Tomorrow land, Jared was really not feeling well and wanted to go lay down so I fast passed Star Tours and he rode a last ride on Buzz with me and agreed to meet me for Dinner later on.

So here begins my adventure alone I started with Star Tours
