I am already getting to where I'm not sleeping. Constantly thinking about everything from book decorations to things that still need to be bought. I hope it will come fast (though I then it will be over so quickly-SO glad we have another trip to plan), but I'm afraid the days will go rather slowly. Maybe not, though. September starts in a WEEK!

You need to start working on your DH to go again.

I love middle school kids; my favorite classes to sub are 5th - 8th!! I have never been in the HS. I need to sign up again this year to keep my name on the list; but, I think I'm going to wait until my dad is finished w/his radiations (spelling) treatments.

Hope batting practice is fun, fun, fun...
OH! and I can only see the very top half of your second ticker (the tip of the castle and a yellow balloon-that's it!)

Do NOT want to teach high school. Middle school is okay, no high school, thanks.

Batting practice basically consists of the boys taking turns hitting off the tee in the backyard. Christian is still just learning and we've found that if Will consistently hits off the tee 4-5 times a week his hitting is much better.

That's weird that you can't see my ticker. I can see if just fine.

Hey girls (and guys). I made a decision today and I wanted you guys to be one of the first I shared it with. While I was out doing my running (jogging, walking, whatever) I decided that

I'm going to do the Donald half marathon in 2011 (not 2010-that one is already full-and I won't be ready by January anyway)!

I already talked to my best friend (who lives in Gainesville, FL) and she said she would do it with me.

I've been wanting a "goal" to work towards, and now I have one.

I haven't decided whether I will go by myself, or take the whole family. I am leaning toward taking the family because Will really likes running (and he's fast) and there are a couple of kids' races he can do. Christian might want to do the 200m too.

My birthday is January 23rd and the 2011 race will be about 2 weeks before I turn 35. I can't imagine a better gift to myself.

So, there ya go. Now you can all hold me accountable!!!

Heather! That is exciting news! I'm going to do the half in 2010 and if everything goes as planned I want to do the full in 2011. I've done the Disneyland Half before and Disney races are so much fun!!! They have characters you can stop and get pictures with along the way and all the runners are so nice and friendly. (Though I've found runners to be nice and friendly in whatever race I've done.) That is such exciting news. Take a gander over to the WISH boards and you'll find lots of company!
