Our girlie summer Vegas get-away (over and done with)

Marcie - I just wanted to say that Doris, Cheryl & I saw Jubilee on the last trip (remember you ditched us to go see your friends at Kahunaville?) and it was really good. The dancers are fabulous and they have some good skits and production numbers. I wouldn't pay full price for it (we got free tix for TPIR fiasco) but it was entertaining for sure. We were trying to figure out where most of the dancers were from. Definitely not Americans, we thought they might be Russian. Does anyone know? Anyway, I am sure you and your groom would enjoy the show. How's the dress hunting going? Or are you giving it a rest for now? I posted on the DL thread, but in case you didn't see, we will all miss you and can't wait until June!

Silly girl, I'm always up for a trip to Chippendales!!

I have to say, I'm a bit sad y'all couldn't wait one month and do it when everyone else is in town. No way we can twist your arm and convince you to postpone it a bit??

I'm sad too but Gary doesn't want our honeymoon to be about me having a girls trip. He's never been to Vegas and wants a spontaneous do whatever trip. His best friend and his girlfriend are coming with us. I see it both ways, but quite honestly I would be torn if he was with me, wanting to spend time with him, but wanting to spend time with the girls. And, I honestly still don't have enough motivation or energy to press it. I will be so glad when my court date is here March 17th and at least I am legally my brother's executor. Oh and I am planning a trip to NC to meet my brother's girlfriend and to go through his things with her.

I have gained sooo much weight, I know, i know, i say that all the time, but it is really true. I am up 15 to 20 pounds since November. Gary was looking at Nov. Vegas pics and said to me, "you were so skinny". Well geeez between him and my mourning. ugghhh. Anyway, I tried on dresses yesterday again but did not like anything. I have been trying to eat better. Maybe I will lose a few pounds. I probably won't end up deciding what I'm wearing until right before or the day of. So, Beth I was thinking about Chippendales May 2nd, I know my men will be so sad when we break it to them. Before I was thinking of Serendipity. I love that place and want a frozen hot chocolate. Jane, or anyone else who can, will be around is welcome too. Gary's bff's gf will be there and he's really trying to convince his Mom to go. We already bought her plane ticket. The rest of the week we are keeping free, I do know some things on the list we are going to do are, go downtown, CSI, the roller coaster at NYNY. Ohhhh if i don't get ahold of this tax season moodiness/mourning there may not be a wedding. I've been a witch.

Anyway, there's nothing like going to Vegas twice in 2 months. I sure am missing it being away since November.

The only plans I have for Vegas are to get my drink on, and I can do that anywhere, so I'm all set. I'll probably be staying away from all the shows, because I'm too poor for those. I'd like to do Dicks again. That's all really, unless someone comes up with something I just have to see/do.

Well just when I am soooo very exhausted, i'm going to be all alone tonight. The twins went the their Mom's for the weekend, that doesn't happen too much. I talked Aerial into going to her Dad's too, she hasn't seen him since Christmas. Deuce has baseball practice, his Mom is going to pick him up afterwards, and Gary told me just to go home and sleep if I am tired tonight, so I'm off from the shop. I hear my bed calling me already.
