Hi Everyone! This is my first TR, but not our 1st trip to the World.:) We had a great trip and the title speaks for itself. Our cast of characters is as follows-

Me(38)- Disney Lover and addict! I would visit the World monthly if I could afford it! I'm short, so my dream is to be Minnie Mouse for a day! By profession I'm an RN.

DH(38)- NOT A DISNEY LOVER, hasn't been with us on every trip. It had been 5 years so he felt like he should go again with our DS.

DS(8)- Disney lover like his Mom:thumbsup2. He loves the thrill rides he's big enough for. He understood the fastpass concept this time, but not that we couldn't get them at the same time.

I hope to keep this light and fun. I'm not a great writer, English was always my least favorite! We had a great time with some hiccups along the way. There will be some food porn, but not for every meal. I felt funny taking pictures of the food, DH would look at me like I was nuts!
Here's what we did during our trip-
Day1- arrival to WL
Day2- DHS and dinner at Cape May Cafe
Day3- MK with breakfast at CP
Day4- Epcot and dinner at LeCellier
Day5- rest and surprise for me!
Day6- MK, MNSSHP and breakfast at 1900 PF
Day7- AK with breakfast at TH
Day8- return home:sad1:

Subbing to follow along. We have ADRs at a lot of the restaurants you visited, so I'm curious to see what you thought!

We woke up early on 10/17 to get ready to head to Philadelphia Intl. Airport. My parents arrived to our house about 630 AM to drop us off at the airport. It was raining and chilly on this wonderful morning. But who cares about cold and rain when your heading to sunny and warm FL! We left the house about 7 AM and got to the airport about 745 AM. The lines for Southwest were horrible, there were lines inside and out to check baggage. After scoping out the situation, we decided to brave the cold and rain and wait outside under the overhang. The line moved fairly quick, and we were off to security in no time. When we arrived at the gate our plane was already there, so I thought we'd be off on time at 925A. Well low and behold, there was a problem with the auto pilot on the plane and we waited and waited! Now, DH is not a very patient person, but I must say he handled the 1 1/2 hour delay better than expected. DS played his nintendo DS, and then DH and DS played hangman for a while. DS looked out the window as well.
IMG_0005.jpg

We finally were told to go to another gate and we got on a different flight to Orlando. We were suppposed to arrive at 1215P but didn't get in till about 145P and we made our way to the Magical Express by way of the fake monorail. We arrived at WL about 3PM and I went right to the online checkin counter to get our stuff. The pictures could wait till later, I just wanted to get in the room. I must say this is our first stay at the Lodge, and it did not disappoint. It's everything I'd hoped for.
When we arrived to our room, DH was not happy to be on the 1st floor, but I didn't mind. I booked a Standard view. We were at the end of the hall by the exit that went right to the pool and boat dock. So it ended up being convenient.
IMG_0011.jpg

Here's DS with the Mickey head Towel on the bed.
As soon as we got to the room, DS wanted to hit the pool. I told him to give me a few minutes to check things out. We realized the slider door wouldn't lock. So I called the desk, DH was hoping for a room change, but instead they said they'd send maintenance. I got DS's suit out of the carry on and he suited up for the pool. So DH stayed in the room, while DS and I went to the pool. Now it was sunny, but only in the low 70's and very windy, so I didn't get my suit on, I just sat poolside. It could have been 50 and DS would have gone in the pool just to try the slide!
IMG_0021.jpg

After about an hour in the pool and hot tub I finally drug DS out to check out the Geiser.
IMG_0025.jpg

We then headed back to the room. The door had gotten fixed and our luggage had arrived. So DS played with his new Lego I brought him to put together, DH napped and I unpacked. We got dinner at Roaring Fork and hung out in the room. Our fun would really begin tomorrow!

Up next- Our day at HS. Would DS get picked to be a Jedi? Would we get FP for TSM? Would we like our 1st time at Cape May Cafe?

We were there almost at the same time, but you got to stay longer ;)
looking forward to your trip report.

I woke everyone early and got ready to leave by 815 to get the bus to HS for rope drop. I was looking forward to warm weather, but that was not in the cards, it was only going to be in the 60's and windy. So no shorts for us, and jackets were a must. After a short wait, we hopped on the bus, got to HS, I went through bag check and we were at the Hat before rope drop!:cool1: DS even had a few minutes to make a pressed penny in one of the shops! As soon as the rope dropped, we went with the herd of people to TSM. The plan was to ride and get a FP. When we got to Pixar place, TSM was down, so everyone in front of us was in the FP line. DH took DS to look at some stuff in the souvenier booth while I waited for the FP. Now it would have been nice if all the CM's that were lined up along the way to TSM would have let us know the ride was down. I would have told DH to take DS to see some characters while I got the FP, instead of the 3 of us going to the ride. Well anyway, with fast passes in hand
IMG_0096.jpg

we then headed to Star Tours. After the ride DS got his spot up front for Jedi Training at 955.
IMG_0047.jpg

He was about the 5th child to get there, it was about 935A. Well once the show started a few bigger kids pushed DS out of the way and he ended up in the 2nd row of kids. So being the wonderful;)mom that I am, I picked DS up so the Jedi master could see his yellow star wars shirt. I know that was an obnoxious thing to do, but it was all DS had been talking about for months and if he didn't get chosen for that show, we would have been there all day until he got picked. So he was chosen:banana:.
And did a great job battling Darth Vader!
IMG_0065.jpg

Now that we got that out of the way, we headed to make a light saber at Tatoine Traders
IMG_0076.jpg

then to Muppets
IMG_0077.jpg

then back around to get lunch at Pizza Planet, with a stop to see thes guys first
IMG_0080.jpg

IMG_0083.jpg

My lunch at PP, DH had the pepperoni with salad and Ds got a childs pizza, but they were out of child's pizzas so he got an adult one as well!
After lunch we headed to TGMR, DH hadn't done this before.
IMG_0088.jpg

Finally, it was time to head to TSM!
IMG_0092.jpg

IMG_0097.jpg

DH and DS rode together and I rode alone, not as fun when your by yourself, but it was still good. We went to the Animation area where we met these guys.
IMG_0106.jpg

IMG_0108.jpg

IMG_0113.jpg

IMG_0119.jpg

IMG_0125.jpg

When DS saw Sorcerer Mickey, Mickey was giving him knuckles, DS thought that was so funny to be bumping knuckles with Mickey. When he saw Mr. Incredible, Mr. Incredible signed his book instead of using the stamp. He liked that DS had his picture in his book(thank's DISigners), the CM told us he never signs, so that was a real treat! We wondered to the hat a caught some of the parade, while DS enjoyed a popcorn snack on DH's shoulders.
IMG_0130.jpg

We then went to HISTK play area, saw Mike from Monsters Inc. before heading to the 430P Lights, Action, Motor show and 530P Indy show.
IMG_0136.jpg

IMG_0140.jpg

IMG_0153.jpg

It was then time to get the boat to head for our 7P dinner at CMC. We had never been over to those resorts, so I was anxious to see them, and starving as well!
IMG_0156.jpg

CMC did not disappoint! DH and I love seafood. DH tried salad, clam chowder, ribs, crabs, clams and mussels. I had the same as DH except the ribs and I had the corn, corn bread and beef. Now DH did have 3 buckets of crabs and a few buckets of clams and mussels, so no dessert for him. He's not a dessert person anyway. DS had mac and cheese, roll and butter and a cupcake. He's a picky eater, so this was fine with him. I give the food an A!
IMG_0159.jpg

IMG_0160.jpg

After stuffing ourselves we took the bus from BC to Mk and then the boat back to WL to get in a warm bed and see if our Phillies had won!

Coming up Day 2- Would it be warm enough for my first ride on SM? Would we meet Tink? What's wrong with DH?

Great start! How exciting for your son to get chosen for the Jedi Training Academy! :thumbsup2

What did you think of the WL? We stayed in the villas on our trip in August and absolutely loved it.

Great start! How exciting for your son to get chosen for the Jedi Training Academy! :thumbsup2

What did you think of the WL? We stayed in the villas on our trip in August and absolutely loved it.

We loved WL!!!! I loved taking the boat to MK and back.

You missed the HOT weather in WDW by 1 day. We were there from 10/10-10/17 and sweated our butts off! We had an average of 90 degrees with 85% humidity all week. We had tired and cranky people on our visit.

We started our magical morning with a bus ride from WL to MK. We arrived at the bus stop at 715a because we had an 805a ressie at CP. The bus finally arrived about 745a. So we got to MK, went through the character breakfast line and entered Main St. with little traffic.
IMG_0169.jpg

IMG_0174.jpg

We arrived to CP and checked in. There was already a large crowd outside of the restaurant, but we were about the 5th family called in. We were shown to our table and explained how the process works. We had been for dinner, but not breakfat at CP. I was hoping breakfast would be better than the dinner we had there 2 years ago. I noticed DH didn't look good when we were seated. He said he had a headache and and was getting stuffy. So now I'm thinking, my months of planning are going to go out the window. But I must say even though DH isn't a Disney fan, he hung in there!
So we got our food and waited for Pooh and the gang. The food was delish, especially the puffed french toast:thumbsup2. DH and I had eggs, potatoes, bacon. I had the french toast and some pastries. DS had the french toast and Mickey waffles and bacon. DH loved the biscuits and gravy, hard to find those in NJ. My only disappointment was the characters were slow, even though the restaurant didn't fully fill up until we were about done eating. They did the parade 2 times while we were there. So we saw Pooh, Tigger and Piglet, but DS wanted to get on the rides and we didn't wait for Eeyore(one of my favorites:sad1:).
IMG_0179.jpg

My plate!
IMG_0181.jpg

IMG_0184.jpg

IMG_0188.jpg

So we left CP and headed through the Adventure Land sign and headed to this ride, it was walk on
IMG_0194.jpg

Then over to BTM for back to back walk on rides. Ds rides with his arms up and on the ascents he chills out
IMG_0200.jpg

DS wanted to go on Splash, but it was still chilly, so DH and I both told him it would have to wait till it warmed up another day!!!:yay:(I hate to get wet and I was really scared of the drop, I promised DS I'd go on this trip with him since his DGP's have always ridden with him, but they weren't with us this time.) So I a managed to get out of riding Splash that day because it was never warm enough for us to be wet!
We back tracked to Adventure land for a carpet ride and a meeting with our Hawaiian cousins!
IMG_0210.jpg

IMG_0203.jpg

Lio and Stich were very cute, Lilo kept covering DS's eyes and Stitch dropped the pen on purpose when he went to hand it to me!
Next stop was a ride on my favorite HM
IMG_0214.jpg

then over to Fantasyland for PPF FP and a viewing of Philharmagic. I loved the Mickey statue in the exit store, so I grabbed a shot while DS was looking at the gems.
IMG_0216.jpg

We headed to Tomorrowland for a spin with Buzz, only a 5 minute wait
IMG_0219.jpg

and then to the Laugh floor. DS was hoping to get picked to talk to Marty, but he didn't. He also wanted DH to be shown as "that guy", but again he wasn't.
Now I know I have a DS, but he has a big crush on Belle! So he wanted to see Storytime with Belle. 2 years ago he was chosen as Gaston in the show. So DS didn't want to be Gaston because he knows Belle is not in love with Gaston. Well low and behold he was chosen again as Gaston! He wanted to be Papa. So he did go up and say Marry me Belle, all embarassed!
IMG_0228.jpg

After Belle's show we headed to use our FP for Peter Pan, but we saw this guy first
IMG_0235.jpg

PP was cute, not creepy like some other Disers had mentioned, so I was glad that he wasn't the creepy one!
It was getting time for us to eat but I really wanted to do HOP, so we headed there
IMG_0243.jpg

and then made our way to Main St. around 130P to head back to the hotel for a break before heading back to MK that evening. We saw a few of our friends on the way out so we had to stop to say hello.
IMG_0244.jpg

IMG_0249.jpg

IMG_0253.jpg

We headed to the boat dock
IMG_0255.jpg

and headed back to WL so DH could eat and rest(I was hoping some food, meds and a nap would miraculously cure him). We got Roaring forks and ate in the room. I had the Tuna sandwich(Loved it), DH had a bacon cheeseburger and DS had PB andJ. We all had the delish choc. chip cookies!
DH did take a nap while DS and I went to the arcade and gift shop. Then we hung in the room until about 5Pm. I had to wake DH up and offered to let him continue to rest while I took DS back to MK, but DH said he came to do Disney with us so he took some more meds. and went with us. Like I said earlier, DH was a trooper!

Up next- Will our evening at MK be Magical or will the Flu foil my plans?

Hi there! Our vacation dates were about the same. We arrived 10/16 and left 10/23. We were at DHS on the same day, but we left around 2pm. We did not get to ride TSM, because the Fast Passes were for 3pm or later by the time we got in line (and thankfully, there was a CM announcing that the ride was down). Oh well, we'll put it on our to-do list for next time!

We got back to MK via the boat around 6P and stopped for a family photo
IMG_0262.jpg

Would you ever gusess DH felt horrible?
We headed to tomorrowland and did Buzz and Laugh Floor again. Then to Toontown because I wanted to meet Tink. DS and DH rode this
IMG_0268.jpg

DH said DS was like that is it, when the ride was over. My little boy no longer likes the little coasters:sad1:, he's growing up.
DH sat outside while we got in line to meet Tink. The line didn't look that bad so we got in. It took about 35 minutes until we were let in and then waited about 10 more before we got in the Fairie room. The hall is cute with the fiberoptic pixie dust on the walls and the baby laughing. So we finally got to meet these cute fairies:woohoo:
IMG_0273.jpg

IMG_0277.jpg

IMG_0280.jpg

They were all very friendly and interactive, but Silvermist was the best in my opinion. Next up we all went to see the Main man himself. Minnie was there as well and was very flirty with my DH. Mickey was getting mad. Photopass got a cute shot of DH kissing Minnie, I'll post those when I get my CD.
IMG_0288.jpg

Next we headed to Tomorrowland and got a spot right before the bridge to watch Wishes. It is the best fireworks next to Hallowishes. I tried the firework function on my new camera, and got a few decent shots, not great but ok.
IMG_0295.jpg

IMG_0296.jpg

We then headed for 2 more rides on BTMRR before heading out for the night aroun 10P.

Up next- Would DH feel better and make it around the World Showcase? Would I get to try a Grey Goose slush? Would DS fill his passport?

It was an EMH morning at Epcot, so I tried to get the boys up and moving by 730A, no such luck. So we ended up ariving at Epcot around 830A(not too bad). DH woke up even more congested and now has body aches:sick: But again he tried to keep up. After entering DH and DS went on SE while I got FP for Soarin. I met them as they exited SE and we headed over to TT.
IMG_0298.jpg

IMG_0301.jpg

We walked right on TT, but DS wanted to be in the front so we had to wait a few minutes extra to get the front seat. Next up was Figment, DS loves the skunk spray part, thinks it's hilarious:rotfl2:. So we endured Figment and then let Ds have some fun in the area after the ride.
IMG_0303.jpg

We were all starting to get hungry so we headed for the Land and got breakfast at Sunshine Seasons. DH had the breakfast platter of eggs, sausage/bacon, potatoes and biscuit, I had the kids French Toast and bacon and DS used a snack credit and got Fruit loops. The portions were small but the food was good. DH asked if we had enough credits to get him another platter, so I said yes(maybe he's feeling better now that he's been out in the fresh air) and Ds wanted more Fruit loops. Next up was Soarin', a first for DH.
IMG_0308.jpg

We all love this ride now!
Next we headed to the Seas and rode a clam mobile and went to Talk with Crush. Hopefully DS would get picked to ask a question.
IMG_0309.jpg

IMG_0312.jpg

DS did get chosen to ask Crush a question!!! He asked how old he was and Crush said "150". Then Crush asked DS how old he was and DS said,"8". So Crush said something about hatching 8 years ago and DS said no, he was born at a hospital. Now I'm worried DS will talk about getting pushed out:scared1:. But Crush asked what a hospital was and DS said,"where babies are born." Whew, never know what will come out of and 8 year olds mouth. We explored the Seas a little, watching the fish, dolphins and manatees.
IMG_0317.jpg

IMG_0321.jpg

When we left the Seas it was starting to get warm, so Ds wanted this for a snack credit
IMG_0324.jpg

Next we went into one of the Innoventions and did the Where's the fire game, our team lost:sad2:. DS made a velcro frog, he played with the robotic arms that played music and we got our FP for our Kim Possible mission for later. Then I suggested Club Cool. We'd never been there and I wanted to get DH to try the Beverly! I couldn't subject DS to the Beverly though.
IMG_0330.jpg

IMG_0331.jpg

I guess DH's taste is affected by the congestion, because that was his Beverly face:confused3. I then had to try the Beverly, how bad could it be? Well thank God there's no picture of my face, because it was horrible! We liked the Mezzomix the best. It was about time to head to World Showcase. DH wasn't feeling better, his legs were really hurting so I suggested he go to the room and come back to meet us for dinner.

Up next- Will DH explore WS? Did I finally get a Grey Goose slush? Would we accomplish our Kim Possibl Mission?

So DH decides to stay and deal with the sore legs later. So I try to think of the best way to decrease his walking, but it didn't end up that way. That Kim Possible mission put a monkey wrench in everything. You see, we had to go to Norway to get our mission, so I figured we start in Canada work our way around to Norway get our mission, finish in Mexico and then head to Future world to explore before our 630 dinner in Canada at Le Cellier. Didn't quite go that way. We stopped at the Edy's area, which was really lame, the cast member never asked Ds if he wanted to do the craft, she just gave us all the Mickey stickers and made us wear them.

We did start in Canada and DS started his mask at the kidcot stop there. I love the grounds here, they are beautiful.
IMG_0341.jpg

IMG_0342.jpg

Next up was UK, we did see Alice and Marry Poppins outside and Pooh and Tigger inside there but I knew we'd see the ladies at breakfast on Thur. and we already had seen Pooh and Tigger. So we found the kidcot spot and didn't spend much time here. I did get a lobster pie from the Ireland booth. Sorry not alot of pictures today because DH was not in a good mood and DS just wanted to get to KP mission.
IMG_0347.jpg

Next up was France. We got in line to see Marie, she kept rubbing up against DS's cheek, it was really cute. Then to see Aurora. DS wanted DH in the shot too, so DH was a good sport and got in the picture.
IMG_0351.jpg

IMG_0356.jpg

Then we found the kidcot spot and the guy was really weird that did the passport and mask.:scared1: I DID get the Grey Goose slush and it did not dissappoint. It was my first, but not my last, it will be a must do on every trip now! Next up was Morrocco. I'd never ventured in the shops there. When we found the kidcot station, some CM's were dancing, it was fun to see. The CM wrote DS's name in Arabic on the back of his mask.
IMG_0358.jpg

We saw these guys next
IMG_0364.jpg

Now DS is whining that he wants to go to Norway to do the KP mission. I keep saying we will get there after we visit the countries on the way. DH is getting mad that he's whining, so I say we'll go do the mission now so that DS will be happy. So we took the boat from Morocco to the other side of the lake and bypassed Mexico to get to Norway. So now my plan of trying to decrease walking is thrown out the window! But DS was happy because we got to do KP mission. We got our communicator and had to go to Mexico next door. It was fun, but it's hard to see the photos on the little phone screen. Of course in the middle of the mission DS had to go to the bathroom, Kids what are you gonna do? So after our mission we made our way back around the word to visit the rest of the countries.
IMG_0369.jpg

Doing Kim Possible mission
IMG_0370.jpg

I loved the sign in Mexico for Kidcot

Oh, I almost forgot I left DS passport on the boat ride in Mexico. After we left Mexico and went to visit Norway I realized I didn't have the passport. So I ran back to Mexico and the nice CM at the Kidcot area helped me locate it! So when I get back to Norway DS decides he really needs popcornpopcorn::. So I say when we get to America I'm sure they'll have it there. He says he can't wait that long in a whining voice. So I tell them to stay in Norway, I'll run to America for popcorn and meet them back there. When I start walking away, they follow me. So now I give DH the LOOK. He says he already feels bad, we should all just go and eat. So we trudge over to America, my plan is really out the window because were not stopping at any of the Kidcot spots, so we'll have to go back to them because DS really wants to get every country:confused3. We arrive at America, DS gets popcorn, DH and I get the lobster roll and crabcake and a coke. Now DH is a beer drinker, but won't drink because he's taking cold meds:thumbsup2. So he had no fun at F&W.
IMG_0378.jpg

IMG_0377.jpg

Now another thing DS was whining about was this light up sword he saw at MK the night before. We told him we would get him one when we saw them again. So outside the store in America on the way to the Kidcot spot he saw the sword. So I got him one and now he's really happy, popcorn and a sword!
So we next headed to Japan, where I had never really seen, I loved the Koi pond area

IMG_0380.jpg

Here the kidcot spot had a sign that told the kids how to say hello, goodbye and thank you in Japanese. So DS and I practiced while he waited his turn and then he used these in his interaction with the CM. So after that in every country he asked the cast member how to say these in their language. I was very proud that he was interested in doing that. Who says Disney's not educational!
We hit Italy, Germany and China next. Basically just for the Kidcot spots. I didn't want to push my luck with making DH wonder in and out of stores!
IMG_0384.jpg

IMG_0387.jpg

I loved this window display in Germany
IMG_0390.jpg

IMG_0395.jpg

In Germany when we went in to the store for Kidcot, DH said he needed more to eat. So I figured he go to a F&W booth to try something new. NOOOOO he got a bratwurst in Germany of all things:confused3. In China we saw Mulan and she was very cute, she was checking out DS's sword skills by tossing her belt at him. She also noticed his Batman crocs and told DS that Batman, Robin and Nightwing all come to Disney and train with her. DS was very impressed by this.
So now we had to make our way back to Norway to do kidcot. I know we really didn't do this the right way, but there's no changing it now. We saw this along the way
IMG_0396.jpg

Can you see the Mickey face on the pavement? There were a few characters, I don't know who does them, but they were really cute to see.So we got to Norway and did the Maelstrom and kidcot. The CM's at Kdcot were not very friendly I must say.

IMG_0400.jpg

I had to get the troll pictures, it seems to be a Dis tradition.
When we went passed Mexico on our way over to Canada we saw this guy

IMG_0404.jpg

Donald was funny, he kept tickling DS! So we went over to Canada and listened to Off Kilter for about 20 minutes before heading to LeCelllier for dinner. I have no pictures of LeCellier or our food. DH was MISERABLE and looked pretty sick by then. I must say LeCellier was very good. Sean was our waiter, he was awesome!!!! We sat in Manitoba. I had the salt crusted prime rib, cheese soup and apple tart. DH had the mushroom filet and was adventerous and got the Moose for dessert, he said it was really good.(that's from a non-dessert eater.) DS had the pizza and ice cream. The pretzel bread was to die for as well. A great meal, wish DH was in a better state of mind though. It sucks to be sick at Disney. So after dinner I decided not to try and see Illuminations or hit any more attractions, it was about 8pm and DS and DH were beat.

So we headed back to lodge and found this little guy
IMG_0409.jpg

I love Penguins, so this made my day.

Up next our off day and DH has a RP racing experience booked that I surprised him with before we left- Would DH feel the need for speed? How will we spend our day off?

So when we wake up on 10/21, DH is even worse, really dizzy, migraine, ect. He is supposed to be at the WDW Speedway by 930A. So I figure he'll take some meds., get showered and feel better. At 830A he's still in bed. I'm already showered and eating cereal in the room. So when I ask if he's going to the raceway it starts a fight(sorry to our neighbors if you heard us, I'm sure you did) He says he's too sick and can't. Now the paperwork says no exchanges, refunds ect. less than 30 days before your scheduled experience. So I'm trying to convince him to go and try and see if the adrenalin rush takes his mind off the vertigo:rolleyes1. Plus this is supposed to be his birthday/Christmas present because it was not cheap. So he stays in bed, I'm mad that I'm going to be out my money. So this is what I did
IMG_0786-1.jpg

IMG_0785.jpg

Yes, I felt the need for speed. I took the boat from WL to MK and the ferry from MK to the transportation center and then the Richard Petty van to the raceway. I got there about 925A and Tracy at Richard Petty listened to my story about DH being dizzy and sick. She mentioned re-schedule, but I told her he was getting worse and we were leaving in a few days. So I asked if I could drive and she said," Do you want to?" I said yes, that way the money wouldn't go to waste. So with driving suit and paper work in hand I headed to the classroom. I had left DS with DH in the hotel, but I wish I brought him to experience this with me. He could have sat with me in class and then on the bleachers while I took my turns on the track. There were 5 other peaople in my group, we all were to do 18 laps. After the class, they take you outside to the pit area and you get your helmet and HANS restraint, then they take your picture outside of the car and get one while you're buckled in your seat. I didn't even think to get my camera out and ask someone to take a few shots with my camera, so I had to buy the 2 they took. They had to put extra padding in the seat so I could reach the clutch, gas and breaks and they really get you strapped in tight! So off I went to do my 8 laps behind my pace car. It was AWESOME!!!!:woohoo: They critique your driving when you get done the 8 laps, the instructor told me I did fine, that I just needed to speed up some. So after everyone did their 8 we all then did our 10 laps. I went faster the 2nd time. Once I got going, all my fears went out the window. Everyone at RPracing was friendly and helpful. You can get up to 145 MPH in the cars, my fastest was 120MPH, not bad but I wish I went faster. Next time! I would definitly do it again. DH missed out! The experience is 2 hours and it gets hot in those cars! So I went back to lodge and was happy to see DS and DH here

So I got my suit on and spent some time in the pool with DS while DH went back to the room for some rest. We grabbed a late lunch at Roaring Fork, then headed to Downtown Disney to do some shopping. My plan was to shop and then head to ESPN for dinner. I canceled dinner at WCC because we weren't going to be back in time for our ressie. We hit here first

DS filled a cup full of pieces, made 3 lego people, got a Darth Sidious key chain and Star wars magnets. Then all of a sudden DS said his belly hurt.(Now I know his belly hurts because he got what he wanted and didn't want to shop anymore so he go play with his Legos in the room!) So DH said he'd take him back to the room while I stayed and shopped. So I have no other pictures from that night:sad1: I went to WOD to get a few things and then headed back to the lodge. DS was in bed, but playing with his Legos, big surprise and DH was miserable because he was hungry, tired and felt lousy. We never ate that night. I was frustrated because this was not the day I had planned. But my racing high was getting me through!

Up next- Will things get magical at the MK? Will I ride Splash? Will DH be able to hang in for MNSSHP?

Aww, what a miserable day! But how cool (and brave) that you did the racing experience!
