I Alicia! I'm late but I'm here! I just finished catching up. MVMCP sounds like so much fun. :goodvibes

Woot woot! I'm super excited for MVMCP! Dh and I were just talking about it and I hope he's going to enjoy it. We shall see!

How totally bizarre. I've never heard of zombie debt collectors. But I agree, if it's not on your credit history I'd try not to worry. I'm sorry somebody did that with your info, that's awful.

I'm done worrying about it. He hasn't called me back so i'm not going to stress about it. When he called me it was on a Friday, and I was thinking he was going to be calling me sometime Monday or Tuesday, but didn't get anything, so i'm just going to forget about it until something else comes up.

Joining in and loving your plans so far :goodvibes

I have no advice with the collection agency, but saying prayers it gets fixed for you so that you dont have to stress

Thanks Shannon! Nothing has 'officially' been fixed yet, but i'm done stressing about it. He hasn't called me back, so i'm over it!

Congrats about MVMCP!!!

Also about the debt thing I agree it wasn't a real debt collector calling! I had one call me and the information was on my credit report but I didn't owe anything. I had a company cell phone and we paid the bill well when I quit and turned in my phone they didn't shut it off. I told the debt collectors this and they said to write a dispute which I did and I went a step further and called my old boss, who said he would work on things on his end. 6 months later it was off my credit report completely.

It's so frustrating especially since I had 'thought' I had dealt with this already a few years ago and hasn't shown up on my report since! I'm done worrying about this because there's definitely more important things that I need my full attention on like the rest of my pregnancy and my WDW trip!

That's really weird. If you ever need a credit report, we run them on our tenants when they apply, so I have access to all three reporting agencies. I don't know what you pay when you run one, but if you need it again let me know. It doesn't cost us a lot. I hope it is just a scam.

But on another note....I owe you big time!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember you said that you mentioned our names when you bought DVC????? We got a $200 Disney gift card in the mail yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

I was able to run all three credit reports for free and it didn't show up on any of them :confused3 So i'm not sure how is was able to see this and I wasn't. Whatever, i'm over stressing about this and getting myself all worked up.

YAAAAAAY! I'm so glad that they actually kept their word and sent something. The guy that signed us up said that because we didn't mention your name at the beginning of the tour, you weren't going to be receiving anything. But the woman who had us sign all the documents said she would look into sending a little something your way. So glad it worked out! :goodvibes

That's so frustrating about that debt call. It's just so hard to tell what's real and what's a scam these days. I saw a skit at church yesterday about a homeless man and his grandson asking people for spare change and being rejected and the old man said something about there are so many people trying to scam others out there, it ruins it for those who actually need help. I agree, but I still trust no one.

It's horrible! I used to give my change to homeless people, but now I just don't because I'm not sure what they're using it for. Just last week a friend had said that she had bought two burritos from somewhere, didn't realize how big they were, and wanted to give the other one to a homeless person near the restaurant. Well, when she went up to give it to him, he said, "No thanks, it will get my cart and clothes messy!" :confused3 WHAT!?! This is crazy to me...

Signing on. We're taking my DS in December for his 2nd birthday. Our first trip in February with him at 14 months was a nightmare as we all got sick. Congrats on the upcoming baby!! :goodvibes

Oh gosh! I hope this doesn't happen to us! Or to you again!

I'm in... this will be a fun journey!!!

Hello!! :goodvibes

Joining in!

Yay for your first trip with your baby! We did WDW when DD was 10 months and I was very happy that she wasn't walking yet.

DH and I travel quite a bit with our now 2-year-old and we rarely use a stroller. We mostly use the Ergo. The Moby was what we used till she was 3-4 months old and we have used the Ergo (with the infant insert at first) since then. The Ergo is expensive, but it is the single best piece of baby equipment we own. Because I'm sure you could use a bunch more opinions. :rotfl:

About that debt thing, every couple years, I get a call about some credit card debt from a credit card that I never had and is not and never was on my credit report. They call my whole family looking for me! It used to get me really worried, but now I just know to ignore it and expect it to come back up again sometime. I hope you're able to stop stressing about that because you should be able to just enjoy these last few baby-free months!

I love getting opinions about things actually! So bring em on!

Ugh, that's so annoying. Luckily this guy hasn't called anyone else, and he hasn't called me again, so i'm done worrying about this whole thing. This claim didn't show up on the three credit reports that I ran, so i'm not going to get all worked up over this.

WooHoo!! Sounds like it will be a great time for you guys. The snow on main street during the parade is SO great! We decided to go this time to with our 2 year old (DH wants to) and I kinda can't wait even though I told you it wasn't really worth the $ in your poll. I just don't like the party as much as the Halloween one. (if you look at your post up there don't think you posted it that way....my DS just messed it up haha!) Anyways, I'm jealous that you have a babysitter so you guys can enjoy the party alone. I'm hoping my DS is ok with staying up late for it :goodvibes We are going to the one on the 20th. I'm afraid of how crowded it's going to be with it being only 5 days before Christmas :scared1:

I think the 20th will be just fine and just as magical! Especially since it's right before Christmas! But i'm so glad my mom will hang back and watch the kid for us so we can enjoy ourselves! Too bad there won't be any spiked hot chocolate for us to partake in at the MK! :lmao:

I'm in:goodvibes Followed your link over from the cruise board. Looking forward to reading about your planning.

Hi! It's been a while! How was your cruise!?

I'm here! So excited to follow along as you plan your first vacation of MANY with your little guy! :goodvibes

So glad to see you over here Bonnie! :cool1:

AAAGGH!

I haven't been on here in a over a week! And i'm so sorry I haven't updated here recently.

Things have been getting busier for me with planning the baby shower, getting the nursery painted and putting furniture together, and then.....a third trimester symptom has hit and hit hard. My back is a mess! Sitting is absolutely awful. It started out a few weeks ago and it felt like a pinched nerve. Something that was deep inside that couldn't be massaged out. So I mentioned it to my doc and she told me she doesn't like recommending it but that there was a chiropractor in a few towns over that a few of her clients had been to and that he helped them out a lot. I told her thanks and would think about it, but didn't really want to go that route. I figured I could just ride it out. Welp, last week it just got worse. It's now both sides of my back and shoulder blades. There is no way I can continue doing this so I made an appointment for this Thursday. Hopefully this will bring a little relief to me so I'm able to sit down comfortably. Standing and walking is the greatest thing in the world for me but I wish I could sit sometimes.

I'm going to be posting a few pictures of the baby's room in my blog and will posting the link here, since we've been working hard on the room for the past few weeks.

Also, I PROMISE i'll be posting an agenda for our trip. I need to do it, so it will help me figure out options of what we can do each day, just in case, our plans don't follow through. Options will probably be the best thing for us on this trip.

Thanks guys!

I'm so sorry you're in such pain. I've been to a chiropractor and he was a miracle worker. I hope yours helps

Lurking but wanted to say hi! :yay:

DH and I are traveling to WDW during similar times as you. So cool about your baby!!! We are trying ourselves and so I am hoping that by the time our trip comes, we have a bun in the oven. (Which means no crazy rides, but I am totally fine with that).

I like pictures! Looking forward to seeing the new baby's room! And also, HI from the West Coast!

Joining in! We are due the same month, but we probably won't be taking our little one until early December of 2013. Love that time of year at WDW! We were there at that time in 2010 and loved it. To answer your question about the Poly for the holidays: we stayed there that trip and, like a prior poster said, there is not a lot of extra decoration, but there were some nice touches every so often. There was live Hawaiian Christmas music one night and another night there was a display of little gingerbread houses. Not something I would go out of my way to see, but if you need a Lapu Lapu anyway, it's nice enough.

I look forward to following your planning and getting tips for our future travels with a tiny Disney fan!

Aw congratulations! :rotfl: I'll definitely be needing a Lapu Lapu so i'll check out the decorations anyway! I'm sure my mom would love to see the look of this resort anyway since she loves tropical themes.

Happy Fourth of July!!!! Hope you guys have a great and SAFE day today! We're just having a little BBQ at the house with DH and my mom. Nothing big, but a great excuse to make Lamb Burgers!

Alright guys! I got a new post in my baby blog up about the nursery and here is the link!

Hi Lesha - just read your new blog, the nursery looks beautiful! Love the theme & colour scheme :goodvibes

Hope your back feels better soon :thumbsup2 this may be a silly question... but did you still go to the gym once you found out you were pregnant? (I remember on your Dream cruise TR last year you were going to the gym on the ship!) - I had a friend at the gym I used to go to who kept up gym workouts until she was over 8 months pregnant  hehe

Btw Happy 4th July!!!

Emma princess: x

Alicia the nursery is adorable!!! And love the Monster's Inc. clothes, too cute! Did you hear they're coming out with a prequel when Mike and Sully met at college? It looks good, don't know the release date though.

I am so far behind but I checked out the baby blog and had to say I simply love the color scheme and the Nursery Decor :)

Major bummer about the back pain. I hope the chiropractor can help!

I love the nursery! My DS's room is classic pooh too :)

Great update on the blog. I love the colors and the theme. Everything looks so nice. You did a great job on the frames. It is very hard not to shop for your little one especially when you find Disney stuff. I got the same Winnie the Pooh memory book for my daughter and then I purchased it for my cousin when she had her baby in February. It is the cutest one. I can't believe you are 12 weeks away. It goes so fast. You little boy will be here before you know it.

Your nursery is adorable, I love the colors! I think the classic pooh is very cute also!

I'm so sorry about the back pain! I had it really bad in my second trimester with DS, but then it magically went away. It was very strange, I don't know if he was laying in a weird way and moved or what!

I just wanted to add my two cents about the carriers. I am going to get a moby for this baby, but I also have a becco and loved using it at Disney. I have the becco butterfly II, but I'm thinking about selling it on craigslist and getting the new gemini, because the baby can both face in or out, and the carrier still has good hip support (unlike the bjorn).

Although it will be cooler in Dec in WDW, it still can get warm, and it might be too hot for a moby.

LOVE the nursery!!!! So adorable! I have another friend here on DIS who did her nursery in Winnie the Pooh too!

Baby's room looking good!!! I LOVE that classic winnie the pooh, its not over the top colorful! And it is a very neutral color and theme..Great idea on the pics too, stuff like that can be so darn expensive, but so inexpensive to make! Congrats on the early baby gifts from your mom, gotta love having the first grandbaby :cheer2: Just wait, it gets even worse in the spoiling dept as the baby gets older...My DS was the first Grandbaby and still is the only, so it started with a crib and changing table too...Now he he has more toys and clothes at her house than at mine!! Don't forget to pick up a nice wee-blocker too!:rotfl2: LOOk IT UP AND YOU WILLL HAVE A GOOD LAUGH...exp since its a needed accessory!

Very cute nursery, I liked the onesiey with Mike on it!

I see a Chiropractor twice a week if I can, swear by it and have been seeing Chiropractors for like 25+ years now (wow I'm showing my age!).

Not to hijack the thread but wanted to add that my friend who also swears by her chirpractor and has been going to one since she was a kid. She heads to his office for everything from a cold to sleep problems! She is a total believer in it and takes all 3 of her kids to him, her husband doesn't believe it helps that much even though proof is seen of it! lol

I'll second the PP person about a good chiropractor! Massages are also good:goodvibes

Yay for baby updates! I love the nursery. You kind of made it look like faux wainscoting! So clever!

With my first child, we decorated the nursery so cute. It had white wainscoting, lavender walls, lace curtains and purple gingham bedding embroidered with little Eiffel Towers and poodles. It was VERY girly because, after all, our ultrasound had told us that we were having a little girl. Well.... 4 months later in the delivery room.... Its a BOY! :rotfl2: My MIL went to our house and repainted the nursery green and my husband went to Babies R Us and picked out 3 bedding sets to bring to the hospital so I choose one! For our second child, we decided to just wait to find out the gender.

Anyway, sorry for the diversion down memory lane! Your nursery looks GREAT and its awesome that it really COULD work for either a boy or a girl. :goodvibes

I just wanted to chime in about the chiropractor thing too... If you get someone who is used to working on pregnant women, its completely safe. I used to work for a chiropractor and we saw pregnant women all the time :goodvibes However, if you want to try a different route, see if you can find a physical therapist or a massage therapist in your area who does "string/counter-string therapy" I saw a massage therapist from 13 weeks until my due date with my second child and she did this technique. It is literally the ONLY thing that saved me from 9 months of pain. Its a really simple theory where they find which muscle/muscles are spasming and move your body into a position that shortens the muscle to stop the spasm. They hold it there for 90 seconds, the time it takes to "break" the message from the brain to the muscle to contract. After the muscle isn't contracting anymore, the therapist can massage it out without crunching on your body. Its completely non-invasive and you will leave feeling like a totally new person.

I hope you feel better!!!
