Not that my two cents matters lol but I used both a wrap and a carrier and since your DS is going to only be around 3 months, a wrap might be better...They still sleep alot at 3 months and the wraps feel more like they are being swaddled and he might get better rest that way..Plus, I dont know how anal you are going to be about things but a study came out saying that carriers like babybjorn and ergo are not good for the baby spine or hips cause of the pressure. Mainly not good over a period of time, which might be the case for you since you will be walking around Disney..Anywho, I can't think of the brand of the wrap I used, but it was really nice and easy to take on and off..If you would like the name, let me know and I can surely find out!

The ergo should be okay, as the hips are in the right position. They are sitting down, not dangling like in the bjorn. That being said, I have heard that Moby Wraps are great for small babies and they have that "swaddling" feel. I have heard they are rather easy to breastfeed in, if you are going that route. =)

Eeek! I'd never heard that the bjorn was bad for babies. My first two lived in theirs!

You are right, Ergo is more safe for baby in terms of spine and hips! I stand corrected, Thank you! I would hate to be giving out the wrong info to girlfriends :headache:

Just got all caught up! It sounds like your plans are coming together really well. We're thinking of bringing my dad when we finally have a baby and go to WDW. I'm excited to hear how it goes for you switching around the resorts. I'm torn because I want to stay at all of them and see them like now! but I like getting all unpacked and not having to worry about my stuff until it's time to leave. Maybe we'll try a half and half stay next time.

I like getting unpacked too! Putting everything away in the drawers and closets, and putting the suitcases under the bed and stashed away and not seeing them until I have to pack up to leave. But i'm excited about seeing different resorts, ESPECIALLY during Christmas time. I couldn't have asked for a better time to do resort switching.

I would love to visit WDW but the youngest has to be old enough to hang with mom running the family ragged! :rotfl: I am running around DL like a kid in a candystore!! I don't like taking the 2 year old to the store, let alone WDW. I would be so sad to deal with a melt down! LOL I am hoping for when the LO is at least 5, so we have about 3 years. I want to learn about WDW, just like I did for our cruise. I would be lying if I said I am not nervous to take him on this upcoming cruise though! :scared:

AGH! Another problem you bring up...meltdowns. :headache: Something, i'm definitely not looking forward to when he's older, especially if he does it at restaurants. You're making me not want to go back to WDW when he's a toddler now! :rotfl:;)

Signing on! We are hoping to take a baby in Oct 2013, so your TR should be interesting!

I love that your mom is willing to watch the baby so you and your DH can have a date night! I am glad you decided to buy tickets for the party. =)

Oh yay! If you have any questions about what to bring/pack or anything, please let me know! I'm doing all the research I can about what is needed, what is a waste to bring, etc, so hopefully by the time I come back to writing the actual TR, i'll be a pro....kinda :lmao:

It seems about 3 or 4 weeks ago, I was doing endless research about wraps and carriers, and I too, heard that about the Bjorn. That it can cause hip dysplasia (sp?) but I didn't know that about the Ergo? I thought the ergo was okay. Oh well, i'm not registering for the ergo anyway; it's too expensive. So what i'm actually doing is registering for the Infantino Support Carrier and a wrap of some kind like the moby, ktan, etc so both of these carriers and wraps will equal to the same amount as the ergo. I figure these two won't take up much space in my suitcase and if needed, I can switch around between the two if I wanted.

Thank you for your info! I'm always needing advice from pro's since i'm such a newbie :lmao:

Sorry i've been MIA. Ugh, on Friday, I got a call from a collection agency about something that had happened back in 2009. Someone had used all my information and had received $1400 worth of services at a hospital, no where near where I live. I had written a dispute letter and assumed it was taken care of since I had not seen it on my credit report in 2010 or 2011.

This guy told me he was willing to work with me to pay off the services I received. So now i'm so frustrated/worried about this whole thing affecting my credit. He was also upset that I didn't file a police report, since i'm 'claiming' my identity was stolen. I decided to run my credit report right after I got off the phone with him, and the account I was disputing was not showing.

Has anyone dealt with this issue before? Obviously, i'm stressing out about this right now and it's not helping me with my pregnancy. Every time I think about this, I get all tense and the baby starts kicking.

I will get caught up with all your TR's as soon as I can!

Sounds like you got called by a Zombie Debt Collector....Don't talk to them at all in the future. Really good info at creditboards.com.

Don't get stressed out about it especially since it isn't yours and its not on your credit report.

I had posted this information over on the Budget Board, and someone had sent me an article about Zombie Debt, which i've never heard of before.

I'm really trying not to get too stressed out about it, but i'm a real worrier, especially if it has to deal with my credit/money but it seems that a lot of people go through the same thing i'm dealing with, so i'll definitely try not to worry about this. :goodvibes

How totally bizarre. I've never heard of zombie debt collectors. But I agree, if it's not on your credit history I'd try not to worry. I'm sorry somebody did that with your info, that's awful.

Joining in and loving your plans so far :goodvibes

I have no advice with the collection agency, but saying prayers it gets fixed for you so that you dont have to stress

Congrats about MVMCP!!!

Also about the debt thing I agree it wasn't a real debt collector calling! I had one call me and the information was on my credit report but I didn't owe anything. I had a company cell phone and we paid the bill well when I quit and turned in my phone they didn't shut it off. I told the debt collectors this and they said to write a dispute which I did and I went a step further and called my old boss, who said he would work on things on his end. 6 months later it was off my credit report completely.

That's really weird. If you ever need a credit report, we run them on our tenants when they apply, so I have access to all three reporting agencies. I don't know what you pay when you run one, but if you need it again let me know. It doesn't cost us a lot. I hope it is just a scam.

But on another note....I owe you big time!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember you said that you mentioned our names when you bought DVC????? We got a $200 Disney gift card in the mail yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

That's so frustrating about that debt call. It's just so hard to tell what's real and what's a scam these days. I saw a skit at church yesterday about a homeless man and his grandson asking people for spare change and being rejected and the old man said something about there are so many people trying to scam others out there, it ruins it for those who actually need help. I agree, but I still trust no one.

Signing on. We're taking my DS in December for his 2nd birthday. Our first trip in February with him at 14 months was a nightmare as we all got sick. Congrats on the upcoming baby!! :goodvibes

Joining in!

Yay for your first trip with your baby! We did WDW when DD was 10 months and I was very happy that she wasn't walking yet.

DH and I travel quite a bit with our now 2-year-old and we rarely use a stroller. We mostly use the Ergo. The Moby was what we used till she was 3-4 months old and we have used the Ergo (with the infant insert at first) since then. The Ergo is expensive, but it is the single best piece of baby equipment we own. Because I'm sure you could use a bunch more opinions. :rotfl:

About that debt thing, every couple years, I get a call about some credit card debt from a credit card that I never had and is not and never was on my credit report. They call my whole family looking for me! It used to get me really worried, but now I just know to ignore it and expect it to come back up again sometime. I hope you're able to stop stressing about that because you should be able to just enjoy these last few baby-free months!

Welp, I did it. I purchased the tickets for the night of Tuesday, December 11! I must say i'm rather excited!

I asked my DM again if she was sure that she didn't want to go. She sounded more than happy to hang back in the room and watch the baby. I even said, well maybe i'll just bring the baby so you can have time for yourself, and she was pretty adamant that she wanted to keep him. So it sounds like a date night for the hubby and me!

This will be great for us to tour the park and riding the bigger attractions without having to worry about who's not riding because of the baby. Now it will be like 'old times' again.

I think the determining factor for me was the snow on Main street. I've seen it snow at Disneyland and
/
-0*-t's gorgeous so I couldn't even imagine how it will feel/look with Ci
nderella's castle in front of us. :cloud9: I'll probably tear up. That's the 3
3
reality of it and I'll embrace it...while trying to hide it of course, so DH won't make fun of me. :lmao: And luckily for us, we won't be having any ADR's on this day since we'll still be on the Quick Service dining plan, so it all works out.

Next up, a day by day touring plan.

WooHoo!! Sounds like it will be a great time for you guys. The snow on main street during the parade is SO great! We decided to go this time to with our 2 year old (DH wants to) and I kinda can't wait even though I told you it wasn't really worth the $ in your poll. I just don't like the party as much as the Halloween one. (if you look at your post up there don't think you posted it that way....my DS just messed it up haha!) Anyways, I'm jealous that you have a babysitter so you guys can enjoy the party alone. I'm hoping my DS is ok with staying up late for it :goodvibes We are going to the one on the 20th. I'm afraid of how crowded it's going to be with it being only 5 days before Christmas :scared1:

I'm in:goodvibes Followed your link over from the cruise board. Looking forward to reading about your planning.

I'm here! So excited to follow along as you plan your first vacation of MANY with your little guy! :goodvibes
