Hello!!:) Ok, so as you can see this is my family and I's first trip to disney world ever!!! But we've been on two cruises before so we're not that unfamiliar  . I cannot wait until our trip. We leave in hmmm....how many days? 125 days!!! Yes ::yes:: in only 125 i will be in disney world how exciting!! Well all i can say now is i'll see you in about 130 days when I start my dining review. Bye for now! :wave2: :

That is so exciting!!! I wish I had known about the DIS boards for our first trip. They have helped me so for my last two. I've officially become a Disney addict!

So since this is my first time going on a disney trip :( & it's my first time on the disboards I thought i should introduce my family! :yay:

First my DM::MinnieMo-Not a avery adventurous eater, hates fish (only eats shellfish), a potatoes and meat kind of person, & she loves almost anything sweet!

DF::MickeyMo-Not really a picky eater at all, so I don't know what to say. He doesn't really say "I don't like ______"

DS:music:- Hates pickles & coleslaw, more than that...but i can't think of anymore....so!

Me:cutie:I hate pickles and american cheese, I am always wanting to try new things! I'm the foodie of the family .

I don't think that there are any "nasty" restaurants or "gross" snacks at Disney. You didn't say if yall are on one of the dining plans or paying out of pocket and didn't say much about your park plans or where you are staying. The more information that you provide makes it easier for people to give you recommendations.

I assume you have already looked at the menus for those restaurants, either on the parent site for this board or on Allearsnet so that you know what types of food they serve and the prices (most first time visitors have a severe case of sticker shock over Disney food prices).

Also since you are new here I will warn you that some people on the DIS have a tendency to slightly exaggerate how good or how bad the restaurants and food are so take all the reviews with a grain of salt. ;)

Oh, sorry! :(

My family & I are on the Disney Dining Plan & we are staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge for the whole trip!

IMO the turkey legs are a gross snack. LOL ;)

Hhaaaha! That is probably the only one I would call gross too! :goodvibes But you might like it! I think either you love it or you hate it!

All you ressies look great to me. I like RFC too! ;) You are eating at my fav places. I also like Chefs and Tutto Italia if you are looking for another TS. Speaking of not gross things. Try the Zepolle at Via! OMG! I crave these things!

First I would also agree with the pp there are no nasty restaurants at disney. I would say there are a decent amount of "better" choices then some of what you picked for your first trip. Via Napoli is a good choice and so is coral reef. I have never eaten at Paradiso 37 so I cant judge that one. The Sci-fi Dine-in theater
is a fun choice but the food is a small step above fast food level and the clips you see(not a movie) are nothing special. the rainforest cafe is also fun but nothing special food is average....I am going to put together a list of the best overall food/experiences that come to mind.. I would def. suggest Ohanna. some people say its went downhill and maybe it has but its still one of the best experiences and good food places to go in disney. Le Chefs de France is also always good. if you are in animal kingdom and want to go over to the lodge boma jiko and sanaa are all excellent but its out of the way if you are at the other parks.. San Angel Inn is mexican and a cool experience/great food that I would highly recommend.. but if you must go to rainforest cafe I would consider t rex its nothing special but food is better and its a cooler experience than RFC and its exclusive to disney... Have fun the first one is always the most memorable
:thumbsup2

Can't wait to read about how your family enjoyed your ADRs! We are also doing Sci-Fi, Via Napoli and Paradiso 37 on our trip in August...so I am curious to hear what you think of them. :)

Snack recommendation for you- in MK at Sleepy Hollow there are waffles smothered in nutella and fruit. (not sure if this is available for snack credit but may be a great treat to split with someone). Looks heavenly (and I really don't like nutella but it looks so yummy I definitely have to try it!!)

They make it other ways as well... but this looks too good to pass up on!!
