Our first TR!! With photo's, princesses, and random tourists. And MTOT party!

We had a great time on our trip. It was hot the first couple of day but then it cooled down. We stayed at the Paradise Pier and loved it!

We took the red monorail into the park. A CM told us that as soon as it starts to get warm they take it off-line. That day it got up to 102.

They like to take their picture at the fire station, every trip.

This was her favorite ride. Well, in DCA in Disneyland it is Pirates.

The walk through still had a fence around it and security in front of it. He looked very bored guarding that wall.

She asked if they have their own Fairygodmother. Why yes, their Auntie Fairygoodmother makes all of their costumes.

The show they do in front of the castle is very cute!

She had to ride the carousel.

Woody's Round up area is really cute.

He was super cute with his "girlfriend" Bo Peep.

Now I present...

Random Tourists.

It started early in the morning we would hear "picture, Picture" then they would start posing with the girls.

Playing with Captain Jack.

See all of the feet in the background. As soon as Captain Jack stood up they all rushed to.........her.

They would all take individual pictures and then a big group picture. By the end of the day hubby would take the group picture shots for them.

Pirates island was closed to do the set up for Miley's birthday party. The pirates were roaming around NOS.

Pixar Play Parade. This is the only place that Bo Peep shows up in the parks.

Bo Peep Although I do find the plastic face a little creepy.

Yes, that was us! My oldest was wearing the Christmas Belle dress and they talked to Australia Belle as they called her.

What a wonderful Aunt you have. That Mary Poppins was like an exact replica. And so was Bo Peeps. Of course Belles was too, but those are more common to see. Did your Aunt have pics of the characters, and go from there?

So here is MTOT party. We went the first night and it was very crowded.

The evil queen was very good, a little to good. She took the girls over and showed them the table that she was making a new poison apple for Snow White. The oldest was freaked out and immediately wanted to go find Snow White to warn her.

When we got in line to see the princesses Snow White was there. A nice CM came down the line and let us know that they would be trading places. Our oldest asked him to go warn Snow White about the evil queen. He was very nice and went off to wan Snow White.

Twirl, twirl, twirl!

The green army men were cool.

The youngest fell asleep. We decided to call it a night.

She looks at lots of pictures from the movies, parks, etc. She has also made them the "before" princesses. Cinderella in rags, Belle in her blue dress, and Cinderella in the pink dress the mice and birds make.
She so totally rocks.

I am the designer/creator of costumes for poohnpigletCA
I actually do a lot of preparation when making costumes for "my girls". I watch the movies (a lot), I look at photos here and on micechat, I look at story books and coloring pages. I even have inspiration from the girls themselves...they give me figurines of the character in costume

Belle and Cinderella were made from Simplicity patterns that are now out of print, but all the others I combine patterns. I might take sleeves from one pattern, bodice from another, and skirt from another. The most patterns I've used for one costume is 5. Then I embellish: add ribbons, bows, trim, jewels, whatever it takes.

It's completely a labor of love from this fairy-good-mother!

Our last day was Saturday. We ran into the park for a couple of hours and ran into..

Mary & Bert!

My youngest was thrilled when Bert asked where her Mary costume was!
I told him, "Wow, that was 2 days you have a great memory."

Bert then says "I also remember when the oldest was Mary and the youngest was Snow White and we walked across the street together."



That was a year ago!

I could not believe that Bert remembered that a year later!

One sleepy girl heading home. I love that she made sure Jack & Sally had a good view.

I bet your DDs will remember their time with the Evil Queen! It's always the scary stuff that sticks with a person.

OMG Thanks so much for posting those! They are simply amazing

There are so many great ones I can't pick a favorite! The Mary Poppins from the first posts was SO beautiful (and had a great story!) But the Cinderella dress that the mice made for her.... SO CUTE!!! They're all wonderful. The Belle dresses scare me they are so lovely.
