Another wake-up call from Mickey, breakfast, and off to MGM we go!! We got there right at opening, and went straight to Rock-n-Rollercoaster for daddy. He had such a great time, and there were no lines, that he rode it again. Next was the Tower of Terror for him. DD1 wanted to ride this (Her best friend rode it, but scared her to death), but we told her it was too scary for her. When DH got off the ride, he told her it would've been too much for her.
After that, we headed for Playhouse Disney. DD2 was so excited, she stood and danced through the whole show. She found herself some Bear in the big blue house bath toys, and off to the next show.
Next was Voyage of the Little Mermaid. What a great show!! DD1 just loved it!! DD2 fell asleep on me until she heard the dog bark. DD1 found herself a Flounder stuffed animal after the show.
Next was the Walt Disney: One Man's Dream. It was very interesting to see. I liked the Oscar he got for Snow White the best. The old cameras were interesting to see also.
We walked around for a little bit, then got in line for the backlot tour. We saw some movie props from Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Blue Thunder. Then we ended up at Catastrophe Canyon. That was a little spooky for the girls watching things blow up, and the water rushing towards us, but they did alright after that.
Now it was time for a break. We went back to our room, ate lunch, and took a short nap. DD1 and I went walking around the resort, while DH and DD2 slept. I really fell in love with the resort, just wished I would've walked around the mansions.
We got back to MGM just in time for the parade!! We werent close the the street, but it was nice to sit in the shade, and watch the cars go by. We then went to The Great Movie Ride. That was fun. The only part DD1 and I didnt like was the Alien. The Wizard of Oz was really neat! Loved seeing the witch.
Off to Star Tours!! I had to talk DD1 into going on, and she was happy she went. DD1 had such a good time, she took DH on next, so she could tell him what would happen. DD2 and I waited for them outside the ride.
Then it was time for DD2 favorite thing of the day. Muppets 3-D!! What a cute show. We all laughed through the whole thing. After the show we got to see Miss Piggy and Kermit!! The girls got their picture taken with them!
Went through New York Street, that was really neat to see. DH took a picture of it, and it really looked like we were in the middle of New York City!!
Now it was time to walk to the front for Fantasmic! Well, after an hour of waiting, they said the show was cancelled. Oh well, maybe next time.
After some night time pictures of the hat, we slowly walked to the exits. Got on the tram, and back to the truck. (We never used the busses since we had our truck) We stopped at McDonalds for dinner to take back to the room, and relaxed the rest of the night.
Next up: EPCOT
