Okay, I've been home for almost a month. I'm dying to go back. Since I can't anytime soon I thought I'd share my trip report.

June 5th-Day 1
The cast...me(28), dh(28), ds(8), dd(4)

Travel day and dinner at Chef Mickey's
We hop in the van around 6am and head to Indianapolis to catch our flight. I hate to fly, but DH adamently refused to drive all the way there. This is our kids first time flying so they were very excited. Plane ride goes smoothly and when we land we get off the plane and DD looks bummed. I ask what's wrong and she says, "where's all the fun stuff? This doesn't look like Disney World." :rotfl2: I then explained that we weren't quite to the fun stuff yet. We board the magical express bus and head to All-star Movies. Once there I get in line to check in while DH and kids head to the gift shop. Then they watch tv in the lobby since I'm still in line. After I check in we go to the food court for some lunch. We had some time to kill before we could get our room number. 3:00 comes, no room ready. 4:00 comes, no room ready. 5:00 comes, no room ready. At this point kids are very restless. 5:30, they give us a different room. We are in the Dalmation building. Finally, go to room and relax and unpack and get ready for dinner.
Chef Mickey's was great! The characters were so wonderful and the singing and waving napkins around was so fun. The kids had smiles from ear to ear. And so did I once I discovered these...After that we headed back to ASMo to hit the sack and get some rest for tomorrow.

We are up and at the bus stop by 7:30am. We get to Magic Kingdom by 8am. Pose the kids for a few pictures and go secure a place along the rope. A very nice CM gave the kids pixie dust for rope drop. A lady in line with us informed us that when the rope drops it would be best to take a child by the hand and speed walk to our destination of choice. :) The train comes and the kids watch what they could. Next thing we know pixie dust is flying and we are off! We walk quickly only to run into a 2nd rope...take a breather...then we are off again.Fantasyland here we come! We skip Dumbo, apparently we have not yet perfected our speed walking to get a good spot in that line. We ride Cinderella's carousel, Snow White's Scary Adventure, Peter Pan, Small World, Meet and get Ariel's autograph and ride some tea cups. Whew...we made quick work of that.
DH then heads off to retrieve a FP for Space Mountain and the kids and I head to Mickey's Toontown Fair. We visit Mickey and Minnie's houses and ride the barnstormer. Then DD and I get in line for meet and greets with Princess Aurora, Belle, and Cinderella! This is our lucky day, the wait is only 20-30 minutes. And it's airconditioned! :thumbsup2 DH and DS get in line for meet and greets with Snow White (DS wasn't thrilled about that), Dale, Pluto. Mary Poppins was also there as a bonus. I was most excited about that!
Next we head to Tomorrowland. We ride Space Mountain, go to Stitch's Great Escape. Then we run into Stich and Buzz Lightyear! Yes, more autographs. Then we go get some lunch at Cosmic Ray's. Then it's time for DTD and BBB. This is where the day gets eventful. More to follow...

We arrive in DTD and browse through Once Upon a Toy Store. Kids thought they were in heaven! DD and I go to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and check in for our reservation. We then sit and wait forever. DD thinks they gave us a broken buzzer. In the meantime DH and DS went to build their own light saber then they were going to head to Epcot and ride some rides until dinner time. DD loved getting all dolled up at BBB. It was such a great time and I highly recommend it. After she is done we head to the front of the store to leave. Uh oh, it's raining...wait, let me rephrase, it's POURING! We decide to wati a bit to see if it lets up. Our luck, it doesn't. :sad1: We have to go or we'll never make our 7:45 reservations at CRT. We cover ourselves in ponchos and decide to run for it. My little cinderella is trying to not get her dress wet, her hair wet, or her make-up wet. It was miserable running from one store to the next. We make it to the bus stop and I realize I don't have our Keys to the World:eek:   Frantically searching our bag, we can't find it. We board the bus back to ASMo to get a new one. It is now 7:30. We get to ASMo and run in to the front desk and declare a small emergency. The CM prints me a new card and tells us to run to the bus and she'll call about our reservations. We run back to the bus stop and board the bus for Magic Kingdom. We enjoy a small chuckle remembering that we have all the ponchos with us so DH and DS are just g etting soaked. We get to Magic Kingdom and speed walk to the castle. We arrive at 8:00! Only 15 minutes late. We meet Cinderella and DD gives her a picture she had made for her. We had a great meal and DD had so much fun fun singing along. They forgot to give us our dessert, but that's okay.
The boys enjoyed their rides at Epcot and dinner at the Garden Grille. DS liked the rotating factor. When we were finished with dinner the rain had stopped and DD was :cloud9: We went back to the hotel to tell the boys all about our adventure!

It sounds like you had a very eventful start to your vacation. I'm always paranoid about leaving our KTTW in the room or losing them. It all turned out well though! Your family kind of sounds like mine: If there's a gift shop, we've got to go in :)

Whew, rested up from day 1 we're now ready for our next adventure. We head to Ohana's for our 7:50am breakfast reservation. This was probably one of my favorites. It was nice to have something for breakfast besides mini muffins and pop tarts. :) The kids loved being in the parade and overall it was just a very relaxing meal. I will definitely go back to Ohana's.
Once breakfast was over we head over to Animal Kingdom and wait for it to open. Our game plan for the day was to ride the safari first. Yea, we did it. The line was still quite long by the time we made it there, but never really at a stand still. We're getting better at this speed walking thing. Still need some practice. Loved the safari. We've never been so close to all the animals. And typically, I'm not an animal person (I know, I know, don't hate me). After the safari we walk through the trails. By this point, I'm done with Africa. We decide to hit Asia. So then we head over and ride Kali River Rapids and the kids just LOVED it. DD4 could not stop laughing. We were soaked. Next we're off to Expedition Everest. VERY LONG LINE, but we decide to stand in it anyway. After 30 minutes of waiting a CM comes out and tells everyone the ride is broken and we all must leave the line. :sad1: Bummer! So we all decide to go to DinoLand. We stop ice cream. I sure do LOVE this Mickey Bars! We walk around Dino-Land some and ride triceratop spin. It was a cute ride. By this point we are all SO HOT and exhausted. The kids are ready to go back to the hotel and swim. As we're leaving DinoLand there is a line for autographs for Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger! Yes, we love autographs! Stand in that line, which was nice and shady. The characters were great. The kids thought Tigger was hilarious. Before we leave Animal Kingdom we head to the tree of life. LOVE that thing. We hop in line for It's Tough to be a Bug. I'm a little nervous about this one. HUGE fear of bugs here. Turns out, It's Tough to be a Bug was one of my favorite things! I just loved it. I recommend it highly. The kids are tired, so are we. We skip Camp Minnie-Mickey, even though it kills me. I feel like I missed so much of Animal Kingdom. :( We head back to ASMo, grab some lunch from the food court and hit the pool. We all had fun just lounging around. Later that evening after we're all rested up we decide to go watch Wishes at Magic Kingdom. We get there and it's of course, clouding up again. We get a great seat for SpectroMagic. It sprinkles a little, but we're all set with our ponchos. DS plays limbo and hoola hoops while waiting for it to start. DD...well, lets just say she didn't make it.

DS, DH, and I loved it. Wishes was great and we saw Tink fly. DH had the unfortunate job of carrying DD all the way back to the bus stop and standing up and holding her on the bus. :( I felt so bad for him and was in shock that no one let him sit down or sit her down. At last, we're home(as we started calling our room at ASMo). And we're tired! Time for some rest before day number 3!

Great report!......bummer about Everest:sad1: We were the last week in June and it was broken.....Ended up doing a Fastpass for later that day.....Looking forward to the rest of the report.......popcorn::
