I made, what we're calling, a Disney Countdown Dream Board! I will update it and move stuff around when we have anything else to add like our itinerary or whatever. My boys absolutely LOVE it!

This is the best countdown board!! You did a fantastic job! :thumbsup2

You are going to LOVE AKV!!!
We stayed in a Grand Villie for 9 days..
You are lucky you are staying at the end, cause you would have been down to the front desk doing everything in your power to stay there for the rest of your stay...

I love your countdown board! Very cool. I like how you have the numbers... and the large "Disney" is that a die cut? Sticker?

Very cool :thumbsup2

Thank you for your sweet comments!!! :goodvibes The big Disney is a diecut. I have a Cricut machine. I also used the Cricut machine for the mickey head cutouts, numbers and letters of the countdown.

I am so jealous! :goodvibes I am a scrapbooker... I worked at a store for years.. but I have a single closest everything goes in and since I have to drag it all out (which takes forever) to do anything I haven't been scrapin lately...or buying any neat toys. A cricut does all that? I am so out of the loop. HMMMMMM I think I may need to get me one before I make my own countdown. Last trip I made a countdown calendar and it was a LONG process... Looks like the cricket would make it a lot easier. :thumbsup2

The Cricut really does make things like this easier! I'm an event planner and I make a lot of party decorations and invitations using it.

Thank you for joining me on my journey! :goodvibes Thank you for your sweet comments about my family. It's exciting that we'll be in WDW at the same time! I would love any information on the restaurants that your DD liked the most. It's hard to plan since I've never been to WDW before. :confused3 The planning really has been fun so far, but actually kind of stressful too. I'm glad that I have 8 months to plan. :rotfl:

Hi Harper!
Sorry I have not been on. We have gotten a ton of snow up here and been sick and then my daughter broke my nose so I ended up having surgery! It's been crazy. I know what you mean about the planning getting a little stressful. I had an excel spreadsheet last time I went with all of our reservations and what was going on in each park every day lol. My dd loved the rides like pirates of the Caribbean, the safari at AK. We didn't get a chance to do it but AK also has a kiddie area. We did a lot of character meet and greets. She loved that. We bought her an autograph book when we got there and she quickly learned to give it to the characters. In fact a couple she was afraid of but when we handed dd the book she lit right up and brought it over to the characters. (she was afraid of Belle non of the big characters just her lol)

How are your plans coming along?

I am so sorry that you had your nose broken and that it needed surgery! That is awful. I'm glad you are back here though! Thank you for all of your tips. I plan on making an autograph book for my boys to share. I think 1 will be good, yeah?

You know, I don't really think I'm going to plan rides too much. I know we'll obviously do some, but I'm just excited to see the boys wander around and soak it all up. We will for sure do the safari in AK. That is on the must-do list. :dance3:

As far as planning goes, that has been put on the back burner for now. I want to wait until the September hours come out before I really make any set plans. Plus, I've been SO busy with work that I haven't been able to think about it as much as I really want to. :confused3

209 more days!!! :cool1:

I know what you mean about being crazy with work and stuff. I wish that they would release the times and everything so I could start planning things. When we went last time we focused a lot on the character meals. DD loved those so much! You might want to think about the autograph books with the photos. We did that and put the pictures in next to the autographs and she loves it. I think I am more excited than everyone else lol

This is awesome! I'm going to do something like that for our house. We have a cricut and the disney cartridge. That looks fantastic.

I'm in! Excited to follow your PTR....planning a trip for my fam for Fall of '12...our kids will be the same ages so hoping to find some good tips through your ptr and trip reort! Love your countdown board!
