O.K. where were we? After brunch, we had a couple of hours to kill before our Exotic Rasul appt. I am pretty sure we just hung out in the room trying to let all of that brunch food settle
I had booked this spa appt. as a gift for DH's birthday. He had no idea what it was, and I had only read about it. We were sent into our designated locker rooms to change into a robe and flipflop slipper things. I just have to mention that in my locker room, I was standing next to my chosen locker and 2 spa employees were sitting right there, in my space bubble, chatting away about non-work related issues..............LOUDLY. Um, scuse me................a little privacy please?? I am not a completely shy person, but come on. Enough about that, so, we walk out, take a look at each other, my robe & flip-flops waayy too big, his robe barely long enough to cover.........well............you get the picture

. We both started laughing and then took the awkward walk into the RASUL ROOM. i just have to say that the steam room is even HOTTER than I had expected (and this is after reading zweihund's description in her last TR!) OMG! I could barely stand it. The tile seats, floor and walls were so hot you couldn't touch them without first soaking them with cold water from the hose. Not very relaxing if you ask me. We were told to stay in the steam for 15 minutes to let the mud seep into our skin (sounds romantic huh?

) I felt like a little kid on a long car ride, but instead of "are we there yet" I was asking DH, "is it time yet, is it time yet?". All said and done, the Rasul was great and very much worth the cost. Our skin was extremely soft and I felt very refreshed.
Tonight was formal night, which I was very excited for. We watched the Golden Mickey's on T.V. in our room as we got ready to head down for pictures:
Dinner tonight would be in Animator's Palate again. We waited in line for the restaurant to open:
DS started acting up just waiting in line. This was one of the few days we hadn't gotten him to take a nap, so DH ran him up to the kid's club so we could all enjoy a relaxing dinner.
Tonight's dinner ended up being one of my favorites. I had the broccoli/blue cheese soup, wow, that was fabulous! I also had the beef wellington. DH had the rack of lamb and we all had the Chocolate Chocolate Award Dessert.
Madison & Mike goofing off:
DH had no idea, but we had let the waiters know that it was his birthday, and they ended up embarrassing him thoroughly!
They brought a cake out and sang to him...............LOUDLY. A lot of our fellow cruisers joined in and DH turned bright red, it was great.
After dinner we headed back up to the room to change, this is what was waiting for us:
We ended the night with a trip to the hot tub to watch Monday Night Football on the Dumbo-Tron............Hey it was still DH's birthday for a couple more hours

I do have to say though, the hot tub temp. was luke warm and very dissapointing getting into on a chilly windy night.
UP NEXT: GRAND CAYMAN..........NOT SO GRAND AFTER ALL?
