I have to say, I agree with DisneyMommy! I LOVE the old one, and the new one is perfect for semi-formal night! Besides, when else would you get to wear the other one?

I like the new dress but I have to say I LOVE the old one! IMO your are on the Magic and you should feel Magical! Who cares if its to puffy and looks like Cinderella.. Every girl should feel like Cinderella on a Disney cruise!!! Take a chance where the dress I bet you won't regret it!

and the Cinderella AFTER seeing her godmother.. not the before just to clarify!

Drea: I am pretty sure Arin booked the Reas so she could book Palo at 105 days out. ( keep in mind too, that if you find someone, you can sometimes be added to their reservation at Palo...we did that last year.)

So, I got my formal dress and tried it on. It fits perfectly, just like Cinderalla's glass slipper. The only problem is.............I look like I am trying to BE Cinderalla when wearing it! It is soooo poofy, like a wedding dress. I didn't realize from the pictures (on ebay) that it was like that
So, I have stressed about it all week and decided NOT to bring the dress on the cruise It is just too much.

The good news is, I went shopping today and got a new dress for formal night and I love it. Bought DH a matching tie as well.

Oh what ever will I do with my Poofy, Cinderella Wannabe dress now?

Awww, sorry the dress wasn't what you wanted. I do love the new one too. Very pretty! I am stressing now about mine. My aunt came over last night to see what I was wearing. She is good and into fashion... unlike me! lol She was honest and said she didn't like it and thought I could find a better one. So... now I have a week to find one..

Well, not much to report. I have everyones clothes packed. Just carry-ons left to pack. Door magnets are printed out. I do have a busy 7 days ahead of me though:

Today:
~Getting my hair done (No, the blonde is not natural )
~1 1/2 hour massage!

Friday:
~Spin class
~Haircut for DS

Saturday:
~Shop for dress shirt for DH
~Go to a wedding

Sunday:
~Pedicures for Me and DD

Monday:
Nothing scheduled, but i'm sure I will find something to fill the time

Tuesday:
~DD to Ortho
~Detox body wrap & wax

Wednesday:
~Leave for airport @ 4:30 p.m.

I ended up cancelling our C.C. couples massage. I decided the almost $300 could be better spent elsewhere.

Also cancelled parasailing for DD and DH because, well, they are both chickens

You're from the Salem area? I went to college at WOSC about 20 minutes outside of Salem. I think they changed the name to Western Oregon University a while ago. Does that make me old?

Only one more week before we get to leave for WDW! We'll be at MNSSHP on the 26th too! My kids don't know about it, but I always make Megan's Halloween costume and it's a Disney Princess dress, so she thinks she is just going to wear it on the cruise. Grady is Capt. Jack. I can't wait to spring this surprise on them! They are going to flip!

Well, I'm not going to get anything done if I don't get off the DIS and turn on my sewing machines.

I totally enjoy reading your trip report. It got me motivated to put a lot more effort into preparing for this trip.

Love the new formal dress and after all those spin classes you deserve a new strappy pair of sandals to go with it.

If you are planning to keep up the gym workouts while on the cruise, I'd be happy to keep you company. If exercising is something you are trying to forget about while cruising I understand. Been busting my but to get into shape for this cruise and would hate to loose it all in one week.

Just bought the new strappy heels last night
I do plan on working out on the cruise. I have heard that there is a spin class onboard, so I plan on doing that. See you there

Oh cool! I'll give the spin class a try, I've never been to one before. I'm mostly a circuit, kickboxing kinda gal. Heard spins a killer, should make up for some of the damage I going to do

So, I woke up yesterday feeling soooo sick. Just nauseated and weak with a slight fever. DD/10 was feeling sick too. GREAT, my worst fear during this whole planning process has been that one of us will get sick! I have been shoving so many pills down my families throats during the past few weeks, we should be immune to pretty much everything

Anyway, we both started feeling better in the evening and I was able to finish packing up my suitcase. Then I weighed it 62 lbs!!!!
Holy crap. I will have to do some $25 fee I will be paying for that extra suitcase which hold all of my wonderful F/E and S/M gifts )

I was unable to get my pedicure yesterday, due to feeling ill, so I will be doing that tomorrow morning. DH and I both have the day off of work tomorrow and we plan on leaving for the airport by 4:30 p.m.

The "Honey Do List":

~Mow the lawns
~Set sprinkler system
~Turn down water heater
~Oil change in truck
~Gas up the truck

My to do's:

~Pack last minute carry-on stuff
~Detox body-wrap
~Pedicure
~Take dog to sitter

Wow, my list sure sounds a lot funner than DH's
