Fill in the blank.

For my entire family, it is TRADITION that on our first day at WDW, we MUST eat either lunch or dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom.

And for the other meal, lunch or dinner, that we don't eat at LTT, it's Casey's hot dogs and a huge Diet Coke - YUM!

Of course this is because we always spend our first day at the MK. :)

Chef Mickeys. It is not our first meal, but we always hit this place for dinner or brekky. My kids love the napkin dance.

Our first day we ARE eating at Chef de France. DD's choice!

Our first stop is for a Dole Whip, accompanied by an egg roll from the Egg Roll Wagon! :)

We have dinner at Chef Mickey's (after the mad dash to the resort gift shop for autograph books and pens) and then try to go to EPCOT. It gets us in the Disney mood.

Great thread!

We dont have an official park tradtition since our itinerary usually varies, but for our last 2 trips we have done the same thing and we plan to do it again on our upcoming August trip.
We drive 24 hours straight through and arrive in WDW on a Sunday. We spend a little time by the pool relaxing then we unpack, wash up and go to the Boardwalk to eat at ESPN.

We don't have a first day tradition because we are so unplanned...anymore! However, at some point we have to go to DTD and eat at Fultons. We especially like it after shopping. Sit at the bar, order a drink and if it's a cold day, chowder....always get a shrimp cocktail....crisp with zingy cocktail sauce and their bread. We then people watch for a while and stroll to PI if we are in the mood or HOB if we just want to listen to some music.

Hi..

We usually go to MK first and my first meal is always 2 or 3 flavours of fudge off Main Street.

Then I feel really sick for about an hour

Great thread

>>^..^<<

is usually a Turkey leg and a Dole Whip.

Then I feel really sick for about an hour

Ditto.

Oh, but it is SOOOO worth it!

Here's a twist because we don't have a must eat at the first day, but we do for the last day. On our last day, we MUST go to DTD and eat hot fudge sundaes from Ghirardelli.

Our tradition on our first full day is breakfast at Kona and lunch at CRT.

Dole Whips and veggie burgers at Beaches & Cream-Yummie!
Great thread!:) :p :smooth: :) ;) :p

It would have to be lunch at the Plaza Restaurant...the Reuben. It doesn't get any better than that.

LTT and Columbia Harbour House (we like sitting in the overpass section) are also guarantees.

Well, we've only gone once, but our first in park meal was CRT. It made our trip start off truly magical. Our PS's were for 1 hour before park opening, and dd was dressed like Cinderella. Her first glimpse of the castle, and she got to go right up inside it!! As we were walking down the mostly empty mainstreet, we saw a tour group of about 20 people. They all stopped and yelled "Hi Cinderella!' to my dd. We're starting off the first day this year with dinner at 1900 Park Faire. Not the castle, but still Cindy! :)

We usually go to the MK on our first day. We go on the Keys to the Kingdom Tour followed by dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern!!!

Rainforest Cafe for a late lunch....

Our first full day is spent at MK and we MUST eat breakfast at Crystal Palace!!!!

Our must eat is Chef Mickey's! It is ususally our FIRST meal and lately it has been our LAST..the very lsat thing we do before watching the fireworks.

We have made many trips and I have to say I have no clue what the Dole Whips are or where you can get them. Can someone give me info? We leave in a few days.

Thanks!

Sounds weird, but if we are staying at a moderate,
our first meal, as soon as we walk in, is the
food court - we love the food courts at Disney.
BUT, if we step foot in EPCOT, it is the Yakatori
House for DH and myself.

We don't have any set plans any more at any certain time. However, I always look forward to my first Mickey Bar.

GlennandAnn - we have a last day eating tradition also. We always have breakfast at the Crystal Palace. It is so bright, sunny, cheerful, and you can sit and look out at the castle, just gleaming in the morning sun. A perfect scene to take home in our memories.
