We (husband, two children, ages 9 & 11, and I) were in WDW from May 28 - June 4.
On our first day, we left the house at 5:15 am for our flight. Arrived at the Wilderness Lodge at about 11:30am, and by noon we were having lunch at Cosmic Ray's in MK. The day we arrived, MK was extremely crowded (the kind of crowds where you just can't move). The first ride we got in line for was POTC which had a wait of about 35 minutes. Then we got in line for BTMR, which was exactly a 1 hour wait. After having enough of the crowds, we went back to the room to unpack and rest up for our dinner at Liberty Tavern at 7pm. Before we left we got a fast pass for Space Mountain.
When we got back to MK, we immediately rode Space Mountain. You should have the seen the stand-by line. I've never seen a line that long! We then rode the TTA. Much to my surprise, my kids loved this ride. They wanted to stay on for one more round, but we had our dinner reservations. When we got to Liberty Tavern, they were turning people away who did not have reservations, they could not even wait for a table the hostess said they were completely booked up. This dinner was a great one to start off our trip. My daughter was very tired, so she and I went back to the room after that. My husband and 11 year old son stayed until MK closed. It was a good day, but by far the most crowded day of our vacation.

On our 2nd day, we went to the HolyLand Experience. It was very pretty and a much more laid back than the day before. We were finished there by 3:30 pm. We then took a ride through Celebration (it was unbelievable how perfect every house was there), ate dinner at Denny's and then went back to Wilderness Lodge and spent the rest of the evening by the pool. What a great pool.

On our 3rd day, we went to EPCOT. I can't explain the feeling I got when we walked through the entrance and heard the EPCOT music. I love this park. We rode the Figment ride, then saw Cranium Command, hung around Wonders of Life, went to the Living Seas, Test Track and went through the house of the future at Innoventions. We had a late lunch reservation at Tony's, so we left EPCOT and went to MK. We were very surprised at how different the crowds were from 2 days before. Our waiter at Tony's told us that was because the park closed at 7pm that day and the crowds were not as bad on the days when the park closed that early. After we ate, we watched the parade from the porch of Tony's. Then we took the train and got off in Mickey's Toon Town. My 9 year old daughter loves Minnie's House. We took lots of pictures there. It was another great day.

Your trip is off to a great start - and dinner at LTT - one of my fav places - thanks for posting!

Glad you like the WL, it is our favorite. How was the Holy Land Experience? I would love to get there sometime.

Ratpack,
The HolyLand Experience was very nice. I enjoyed seeing re-enactments of events from the bible. The actors were very good. They had a model of the city of Jerusalem as it looked in biblical times. A guide with a laser light would point to the buildings and explain different facts about them. We got to the park when it opened (10am) and we were finished there at about 3pm.

Great trip report! Can you tell us a little more about WL? How was the room? Clean? Mousekeeping???? ETC...

Thanks!

Thanks for sharing - Wonderful reviews!!!!

annamonte,
The rooms were very clean. We had a standard room, we didn't mind the noise from Whispering Canyon. In fact, whenever we'd hear them getting rowdy, we would start laughing. You felt like you were in the middle of the excitement. Mousekeeping kept the room clean, but nothing creative. Between my two kids, we had 3 stuffed animals and a baby doll, but mousekeeping basically just made up the beds and put the toys on top the pillows.
