Wdenesday: We started our day with breakfast at the Kona Café, it was wonderful. We enjoyed the Tonga toast, regular french toast, ham and cheese omlettes and mickey pancakes for the kids. My nephew drank half of my strawberry-banana smoothie, his sister liked it too! Our server was fantastic, bringing my niece an extra piece of ham because she finished the first one. Afterwards we took the monorail over to EPCOT and spent a long time in the Living Seas, the kids loved the fish. We then strolled the World Showcase and caught up with the Character bus, the kids loved all the characters at one time. There was Mickey, Minnie, the elusive Daisy Duck, Goofy, Tigger, the Genie from Aladdin, Baloo from JungleBook, Jinimy Cricket, Pinocchio and Gepetto. Most of the group went back to the Poly for lunch and a dip in the pool and Mom and Lori went to the takeout at the England pavilion for fish and chips. It was delicious. My mom said almost as good as she and Dad had in England a few years ago. I wish they sold the fish without the chips it was that good. After a dip in the pool we headed out to MGM for our Fantasmic Dinner Package at Mama Melrose. Before dinner, we did Star Tours, it was pretty cool and after dinner did the Great Movie Ride and The Little Mermaid Show. Dinner was probably our worst meal of the trip, nobody enjoyed it. I guess we are used to our own Italian cooking! The Great Movie ride was a little scary to the kids. The Little Mermaid show was great, but be prepared to get wet if you are in the first few rows, it was okay as it was 90 or above all week long. Fantasmic was fantastic!! In my opinion the best of the evening productions, Illuminations and Spectromagic are special in there own way but after seeing all three, I like Fantasmic the best. It didnt hurt that we did not have to be there too much earlier than 30 minutes and had a reserved seat. Again a word of caution, if you sit in the first ten rows you may get sprayed with water, which again was okay in the heat but I imagine would not be fun if it was 50 degrees.
