We arrived in Orlando at 9:20 on July 11, a Tuesday. Our flight actually landed 9 minutes early! We did not go directly to the ME desk as DH and all of the kids needed to go to the bathroom.
We got to the ME desk and we were the first ones there from our flight. No one was in line at the time, although 4 or 5 families ended up behind us. We boarded a bus and sat on it maybe 5 minutes before we left. We dropped people at WL and the Contemporary before we got to the Polynesian.
We were at the front desk at 10:20--one hour after we landed!
Our room was not ready and we went to MK--when we finally went back to the room at 5PM all of our things were there.
We left at 2:45 for a 5:39 flight. No problems--in fact we should have stayed at the checkin level longer and had a better meal than Nathan's
. There was no line at all in security (this was 7/18, also a Tuesday, at about 4PM) and our flight left about 5 minutes early. All of our baggage made it to Detroit just fine.
So in a nutshell, hakuna matata, no worries--and loved the videos, although the one on the outgoing had me a little misty-eyed!
