I am assuming from your numbers that you are not 'buying out' the restaurant so are they putting you in a quietish spot?

Thank you!!! omg only a month until the big day...I'm feeling SUPER excited. We have most of the big things done, so we are just counting down the days and I just know they will FLY by!!!!!!!!!

Yay that's what I was going for! We're going to have a mixture of yellow with white I think.

Thank you! We are definitely not buying out Citricos which would be far outside our budget. The tables at Citricos will be moved together for our large party. They said they typically have a round table at the end where Eric and I will sit and from there have straight tables lined off from the round table...so it will look sort of like a key hole! The staff at Citricos assured us that this is the best way to arrange them so that everyone can see the bride and groom And so it's not a ridiculously long table, we might have a second table next to the first that will sit 8-9 guests as well. They said they would put us in an accommodating spot that would give us enough room (probably not in the middle of the restaurant). We're going to be some of the first people in the restaurant because our reservations start when they open, so I think we'll have a great location!

We have reservations at 5:30 pm and the fireworks don't start until 10 pm that night, so if our guests are still around with us enjoying drinks we've mentioned to them that there is a show. In that case, we'll just step outside to view them! We're trying to keep it pretty laid back and open to squiggle room! I hope that helps

I have seen several brides use the personalized hangers now and definately need to order myself one. I can't wait to see your wedding pics I love the yellow and all the polka dot accents! Wendy, I just got done reading your posts. Your wedding is going to be amazing! and it is so close now. I love how all the yellow, black and polka dots are incorporated into everything. Your Invites and tissue holders are darling! I am going to do some diy projects for my wedding.. wish I could be even 1/2 as creative as you!

Also I am grateful for reading your pj because I was looking at renting tuxes and it never even crossed my mind to just buy nice suits. Not sure why I never thought of that but it is great, for the same cost they can keep them.

oh and love, love, love the etsy hanger! I am going to order one today!

OMG 24 days?!?!?!?! I seriously looked at the counter after I read your post totally in shock - I guess I haven't kept up with the days left counter. I keep thinking about 3 weeks left but 24 days sounds even closer!

Thanks for reading If I can do creative DIY projects, I now know ANYONE can If you have the time I think they definitely add a great personal touch and you get to include all the details you want! You should order the hanger - I LOVE it!!!

We got our final floral BEO last week so I wanted to post it for future brides to get an idea of the prices. I just typed it in from the PDF we got from Rosie so I hope it makes sense! With that, we kept our floral at a MINIMUM because I didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount on flowers. I'm really happy with what we're getting and that we didn't spend a fortune!

1 Bridal Bouquet - Hand tied french style bouquet of 35 large bright yellow gerber daisies with faux stem wrapped in polka dot ribbon and accent with a pearl pin Mickey closure: No extra charge for changes

1 Maid of Honor's bouquet - Hand tied french style bouquet of 7 large bright yellow and white gerber daisies with stems wrapped in polka dot ribbon: $50

1 Groom's boutineer - Large bright yellow gerber daisy with the stem wrapped in a matching polka dot ribbon with pearl Mickey accent: No extra charge for changes

4 Additional Boutineers - mini bright yellow gerber daisy with step wrapped in matching polka dot ribbon: $12.50/each

3 Mother's Corsages - wrist/pin corsage of a large bright yellow gerber-ivy and matching polka dot ribbons: $21.00/each

Cake Cutting - Accent around the base of each cake layer with matching polka dot ribbon: $15.00

Cake Cutting - Accent around the included Mickey and Minnie topper and a cluster of floral (yellow mini gerber daisies, light touch of ivy leave) where the top cake layer meets the bottom cake layer: $30.00

Subtotal: $253.00
Tax (6.5%): $16.45
TOTAL: $269.43

not too shabby!!


We are also using fresh yellow and white daisies for the centerpieces of the alter table (vide supra) and as the place cards for our guests at Citricos. I will be writing their names on faux leaves I'm making from card stock and attaching it to the flower with twine. But we're getting those at Whole Foods for super cheap (3 bundles for $12!) when we're in Florida, so that hasn't been added in.

I've also picked out my wedding day jewelry, which has been on the back burner for me. I just received the bracelet in the mail and although I'm not sure if I'll wear it, I'll show it to everyone because I do really think it's gorgeous. I didn't want a super blinged out cuff so this was a nice alternative that I found. The earrings I absolutely love and are keepers for sure. I wanted bold earrings that would shine through my short hair cut...and these certainly do that! They are Swarovski crystals and really sparkle! I'm just not sure if the addition of the bracelet would all be too much with my mother's pearl necklace. But I want to have options so they will be coming to Florida with me and I'll probably figure it out on the wedding day

Another thing I purchased were silk shoe clips from Etsy seller Persea for my MOH to wear on her black strappy heels to give a pop of color! Her dress and shoes are black so we wanted to add in something that will really stand out. They also match pretty well with the silk flower on my Badgley & Mischka shoes so I thought that was neat. The ones I ordered are actually 1/2" smaller in diameter than the ones listed in her store...but they pretty much look the same!
