Our disney trip, Thursday, day 6

Thursday we decided to see some of the Christmas decorations so we headed over to Wilderness Lodge to see the decorations and eat lunch at Whispering Canyon Café. We caught a boat from the Contemporary which went directly over there. As always lunch was great and this is really a fun place to eat. We caught the boat back to the Contemporary. This is a neat ride. we boarded the monorail and went to a couple of other resorts to see their decorations . We were a little disappointed that most of the little villages had not been set up this year. We went back to our room to get ready for the MVMCP.At 7pm we headed over to the MVMCP and had another great time. The weather was perfect this year. It seemed neat to finally get our picture taken without wearing heavy coats or raincoats. We located a good spot over across from the Golden Horseshoe watched the Christmas Parade and took many pictures. After the parade we went to the food bar across from Splash Mountain. We got a drink, sandwich, and some fries. At this point we made phone contact with Cheryl, Wendy and Wendy’s mother. They are two friends who I have chatted with for a long time and they came down where we were to say hi. We had a nice long chat. It is so nice to meet people and put a face with the IM=s and emails that have been carried on for so long. They watched the parade with us which was our second time to see it. Then we all walked down toward the entrance and they went back to AKL and we went to the Contemporary. We wanted to meet again but with everything else we never made it.

I did MVMCP this past December - got a kick out of walking down Main Street in the "snow" in a t shirt and shorts. Sounds like a another fun day - and meeting up with friends too. Thanks for posting!

We visited WL in December to see the Christmas decorations. That is my favorite resort! It looked so nice!
