You do not! You are not Pooh sized. I demand you take the Miss Piggy avatar out of your signature!
You're not Belle or anything (I use her as an example because last year when I put my arm around her to have my picture taken with her I was scared she would snap in two! That waist of hers has to be smaller than Scarlett O'Hara's!), but you are not fat!
And umm - love you and all, but please tell me that your entire wardrobe during the loooong trip was NOT ALL LIME GREEN!

It's not really an attractive color on most people (you excluded, of course!). I think we should picket to have the color changed. Of course, what would you do with your new wardrobe?

I came so close to buying the lime green crocs two days ago. I then had to pull myself away from the lime green and pink croc flip flops!
I bet I give in before next week!

I have to hand it to you, Utahmama! It would never have occurred to me to photograph a trip through airport security!

My kids love going through airport security and always insist on sending their shoes on the x-ray ride (though the security agents always say that they don't have to). One time when we flew last minute, we all had to have the full screening - they offered to exempt the kids and send them through ahead of us, but I was like "uh, he's two. NO! I am not sending him ahead!" Both boys thought it was like a special treat or something.

Glad the enhanced security screening wasn't too traumatic for your family and that you commemorated it on film! Can't wait to see what happens next- Hopefully, it will involve......boarding an airplane (Another "k" family favorite)!

I’ll tell everyone what it was on that day of my trip report (how’s that cheap trick to keep ya comin’back!) It really is special to have a lil’ sumpin’, sumpin’ waiting for you at the hotel. As for my “Rookie” mistake….(no pins to trade because they were packed) We just waited till that night to start our trading. We could have bought a starter pack but decided not to. We are CM stalkers so it was the only peace I had from pin trading the whole trip!

Luvmyboys- I loved your “you complete me” comment! Glad I make you laugh! Thankfully my fake-baked itchy bum was all better, and my chiclette nails couldn’t scratch any itch due to extreme thickness. Don’t worry, there was a plethora of insanity to fuel this TR.

CeleryStalker- love your new “ode”! Let me just say that if it REALLY was Captain Jack Sparrow that TM gave me all tied up purdy with a bow…there’d be NOTHING left of him to share (heh-heh).

Tictoc- We didn’t have to wait in any lines, except the bus lines! Wolfgang Pucks was a great place to spend my birthday…it honors my yuppy side! We hated Concourse Steakhouse!!! More on that later! CorinnaK- I almost always snack at the computer (somewhat healthy stuff, though) then the rest of the day I cant figure out why I’m not at all hungry, DOH! Yes, in CH.6 we do actually board the plane…It’s one on the most entertaining of my trip report…and I’m GLAD that part of my vacation is over (you’ll need a good stiff drink after that chapter!)

WDWPolyPrincess- Ok, Yes, I “was” feeling a lot better-almost normal- BUT I didn’t keep up with my voodoo “therapy” and it all came back- plus more! I was coughing and lost my yellin’ voice! Karma?

Horsegirl- Ooooo!!!! I “Lof” You! FYI (TFI) I tried on a horse-girl straw hat and let’s just say it looked WAY better on you than me! I think of you daily because we have 7 horsies in our back yard! Ok, their not OURS but in the yard ajoining ours, and I love them. Each has been un-officially named ice-cream flavors! Chocolate Chip likes to run back and forth along the fence with our 2 Golden Retrievers!

Remfam5- Isn’t park City the Best! It’s most fun at the Sundance Film Festival where you are guaranteed to hob-nob with top stars! I was this close to Jennifer Anniston once! Did you shop at the outlet mall?

Corinnak- Holy Cinnamon Buns! I am trying to get back into the swing of things but it’s slow going! I hope you’ll keep reading me! Thank’s for all the support!

Cjhinch- Dull without me????? That’s the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me! Thank you!

Twinkie part deux- Thank You again!!!! Kissy-kiss! Huggy-hug! I AM a security nightmare…white, overweight female, toting 4 kids and a stroller and hidden lip- gloss…they did let us bring our milk for DD2 in though!!! (It was for all the kids, heh, heh!)

Sheridac- HOW does one discreetly use one’s lip gloss filled bra?? Won’t you look a tad SUSPICIOUS having the ONLY glossy moist lips? I sure did- the longing looks on the parched-lipped girly-girls!…or maybe they were over-come with joy they were NOT me at that moment in time….you’ll see why next chapter! My glossy lips were the last thing on my mind, I tell you what!

MyTalula- Note the “Wand-Nazi’s” blue exam gloves she had snapped into place like my OB/Gyn!!! EEEk!

Celery- I got more compliments on my darn lime green CROCs! However, I move to change the official color of the DIS boards to monkey-vomit orange or anything else that’ll stick out BECAUSE….apparently it’s a fav of the civilians too!!!!! I’ll share more in my TR about the poor non-dissers I accosted!

Sneezie- I thought I saw you at the Goofy’s candy store at Downtown Disney! These peeps left there and went to RainForset Café!!! Was it you?

Umama, that was way too original to take pictures in the airport. I always think of the airport as being a stressful time and pictures have never even entered my mind. Do you think the security would like to have their pics taken? Or would they reward me with a strip search?
I am going to have to take time to smell the roses from now on and photograph everything.
Loving the trip report and I am jealous of you and Gmax for already having your pictures. Mine are on the way from Disney and Walmart. My husband was too tired to let me do one hour and then well it's too late after you drop the little envelope....

Through Security....At the Delta gate:

Our flight wasn’t till 11:45 so we had some time to kill. A little over an hour and a half to be “exact”!
My “stragety” this day was to give Norah (DD2) an earlier nap and keep her up the rest of the day so she’d SLEEP on the flight…. Ohhhhh, that backfired in the form of a very sleepy, cranky, pissy toddler as you’ll soon see… (wait for it…wait for it….)
We (as in “not me” but DH and DS17 and DS8) took turns pushing Her Majesty’s stroller around the airport. Too much cool stuff to see to go to dreamland….
To pass the time, my DS’s listened to their Disney Mania 4 CD and their Doodlebops CD on their headsets… Which they think they’re COOL:

Norah’s mood was somewhat better when it was our turn to board the coffin/airplane so I figured her disposition would improve and she’d finally give in to sleep. In fact, when boarding, she was downright SWEET! I didn’t realize she was just recharging her battery…
As we trekked down the 10 inch wide middle isle, the other passenger’s looks of “GREAT, I was going to SLEEP on this flight!” where unmistakable. I gave them my “Don’t worry, my kids ALWAYS sleep on airplanes, so you wont hear a peep from us”-look (Which, up until this flight WAS true….Karma).
I got my 3 boys settled with their travel pillows and head-sets and turned to focus on the sweet-one. DH was next to the window, DD2 in the middle (of the sandwich) and I on the isle (bladder-issues). Ahhhh…..
Ok! Let’s buckle up!! “I DO IT!” “I DO IT!”….she tried, but couldn’t DO IT herself…sophisticated airplane buckles. It was nearing GO time so we had to intervene.
Here is a little tiny snippit of the very beginning of “IT”…Warning: Those with health problems including, but not limited to, heart conditions, nervous disorders, bad karma, bad mojo, heebie-jeebies, motion sickness, love kids, hate kids, judgemental tendencies,
bad knees, bad eyes, bad breath, wear socks with CROCS, mullets, strokes, headaches, fainting disorders, ETC….should NOT view….(Need birthcontrol? VIEW!) Click on the image IF YOU DARE: (Insert evil laugh here)



Good Times….

We missed the in-flight safety briefing…GREAT! What do we do if we need floatation again???? I scrambled feverishly through the “purse” portion of my diaper bag for ANYTHING to entertain her, even if just for a second…. a furry cough-drop? “Honey!
LOOK at the fuzzy CANDY!” nope…..a tampon? “Sweetie! Look, a silly MOUSE!” she paused very briefly to look, then looked at me, then kicked it up a notch!…THEN, at the bottom of the diaper bag was some old Hyland Teething Tablets!!!!!! I swear to you, I actually HEARD the angels in Heaven singing and a HOLY light shown on my little precious bottle of teething tablets….I opened my plastic bottle and spilled several and popped 3 or 10 in her screaming mouth! She abruptly halted the screaming! We were already in the air 10,000 feet when she finally gave up! The entire airplane cheered and Whoo Hoo’d! I meekly apologized to those who could hear me. Thankfully, no one was ugly to us. We switched her to the window seat so she could lean against a pillow and hopefully sleep (Please God!!!!). As she fell asleep, she did those little post-hyperventilating breaths…almost cute.

My 3 boys I guess are used to this, they were all settled and waiting for the movie, “Nacho Libre” starring Jack Black. We scorred some lovely Delta snacks including little shortbread cookies, white raisins with cranberries, wheat crackers and a tub of peppercorn/ parmesan cheese spread, AND a wet nap! Handy! I got diet Coke (ew!) and my kids all got Ginger Ale and DH got juice. We saved some for the sleeping princess too (for me!). After the movie, we pretty much all fell asleep. For 2 minutes. GUESS who woke up screaming??? (sigh, “&%$#@*!!!”) but only for a few minutes…she was sleep-screaming, for pete’s sake. I held her (not too tight!) and whispered my prayers in her ear, “Dear Lord, please help me to calm this baby, ease her pain, grant understanding to those around us, grant patience to me, don’t let me kill her, or myself…” And she went back to sleep. For a minute, maybe two… Several times this happened!!! Ears???

Once at a sleeping moment, DH and I attempted to amuse ourselves by reminiscing about The Poop of ‘98. I laugh now but there actually is one flight WORSE than this one! Ahhhhh, wanna hear the short version? Where’s the video on this one???? Ok, Dallen (DS8) was 4 months old the first time he went to Walt Disney World. He was a BIG baby. With a BIG appetite. He was a breastfed baby who had never had any other food-source in his whole life thus far. I “thunk” it’d be BRILLIANT to bring little apple juice bottles to tide him over! Are you experienced mamas with me?….I had given him 2 little bottles of Gerber Apple juice during this time and heard the bum-EXPLOSION…the eruption just kept on going!!!! It went ALL the way up his back to his hair..ALL the way down to his socks. ALL the way up his front…..ALL OVER ME! No, I didn’t have any clothes to change either of us, nor was there enough wipes in the world to begin to clean this up… I think I just sat there LAUGHING because it was just too awful to comprehend! The other mamas on the plane helped me as best they could (the kindness of strangers!!!)But my fat naked poopy baby ended up wrapped in a navy blue Delta blanket as happy as can be….We got off last so no-one would have to smell us or risk getting poop on them.

Ok, back to the 2006 flight.
We actually had a 3 hour layover in Atlanta. Where all 6 of us slept. On the floor of the airport. Where we didn’t care where we slept. We just slept on the only available horizontal surface. The dirty floor.
We boarded the Orlando flight like zombies and slept. Except for snack time. Which we ate our Barbie-sized portions and drank our mostly ice sodas. Then SLEPT. Pissy Missy SLEPT!

We were FULLY awake when the reality of being IN Orlando struck us all as we placed our tray tables in the locked position and our seat backs were fully up-right…
