You see, I never dreamed I’d be driving a Suburban load of kids (or a mini-van or a station wagon- which I totally made fun of back in the day) or be room mother or a church leader or foster mother, or plant salsa gardens or have yard sales but that’s what I do now. AND, I like all that. I love being called "Mother" by 4 beautiful human beings who are pretty good. Though I yearn for a nice fat Disney Vacation Club membership and a stainless steel refrigerator, I really would not trade my life for any one elses.

Next time…lost room/park ticket/dining card fiasco (or was it?) AND I finally rode Peter Pan !!!!

Thanks for the tip about using snack credits at Goofys for such cool things. I am on Weight Watchers (although the tag fairy diet sounds much better) & am going to try not to use my snack credits too much so now I know I can bring back cool treats.

Yes, I do believe the tag fairy diet is working for me. So much so that I am going to treat myself to a dip cone tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the start of our big kids' crusade at church. I am the children's director so this is one of my biggest events of the year. Anyway we are doing a circus theme and I am going to the bearded fat lady!!! So I can eat 2 dip cones!!! Say a prayer that all goes well!

All but the early bird (DH) slept in blissfully until 9:30(7:30 Utah time!). DH went for a nice morning stroll and chatted with a fella from Wales who informed him there’s a mall a mile's walk from DownTown Disney.

Well? Where I really was, was in DTD. I did talk to the guy from Wales on the bus ride to DTD. I was there trying to get Wolfgang Pucks to suprize my wife with a birthday present. They told me that there was no way they could hold the presents for more then one day. No Disney magic to be found at Wolfgang Pucks. So I take my packages back to the resort. While I was on the bus back to the Resort, UM calls on the phone and tells me that they were ready. She asked were I was and I told her I was on the other side of the resort and I would be there in a minute.

Love the pictures, love the story, love your family. Love your admission that you never dreamed of being the UtahMama. Suburban and all. And LOVE the story about the Precious Moments figurine, and Norah and Grandma. We have a similar thing with Hummels. I don't REALLY like them, but my Grammie had a small collection, on a shelf that my Grampa made. She passed away a couple of years before I got married, but Grampa saved those and gave me the whole thing for a wedding gift. So I am a WWH. (Woman With Hummels). And will remain so.

That wouldn’t be a vacation for ME, having to walk to a mall with our troops. I thought DownTown Disney would be fine shopping-wise. See all the money I saved? According to my Disney math, by NOT going to that mall, I saved a good one hundred dollars, possibly more! That money goes direct deposit into my magic Disney wallet, to spend at Downtown Disney! Makes sense to me!
