"OUR BIG, FAT DISNEY VACATION!" Ch.26 NEW! 2/11 pg. 121 "And they lived happily ever&

Good Job Utah!!! your chapters are always good-- not always high drama (but really one must rest and eat in between screaming tantrums and flippie fits) but ALWAYS 100% wonderful! :thumbsup2

Yay for Goofy for putting his elbow on the table. I am sure he did it to cheer you up.... he knew it would gladden your heart to see him sing I'm A Little Teapot.

One reason I love the dining plan is that it would seriously hurt my pennypinching soul to pay $15 dollars a meal for 2 plates of mac-n-cheese (29cents a box at Aldi) which my girls would just pick at anyway.... I know I am still paying for it but it just hurts less somehow not to deal with the overpriced food on a daily basis... and your meals were FREE!!!! really how can you afford not to go? :confused3 :teeth:

I can't believe I am a bit character in this!!!! So much fun! I think I texted her back to take all the money she was saving on glow necklaces (5 bucks a pop, times 4 kids times 10 nights) and invest it in an agressive growth mutual fund.... or maybe an AP, I can't remember which.

TwinkieMama - it is only fitting you should get the 1000th post!

UM - I can't believe how well behaved you were at 50s! I was sure this would be a report of the humiliation you suffered at the hands of your waitress. I'm impressed, but I must admit, also a bit disappointed! At least DH got to sing. Too bad about the sushi ... er ... salmon. :crazy2:

It's because I lose my "funny" when I'm "pissy"....had to settle on "normal"! I was too focused on my forthcoming "S'mores" !!! Just a bit of heaven!!!! :cloud9:

Guess what Dallen and Riley ordered??? Rhymes with “smack and sneeze”. Yup! Mac’n’Cheese x2(which is what they ordered every single time it was available!)

My kids disdain the mac and cheese that comes in the mickey heads. They just won't eat it, and my boys are are mac and cheese eating freak-kids. Can you tell me, Utahmama, is this the "Smack & Sneeze" that they serve at 50's Prime Time or do they have a different variety? I realize you weren't likely expecting a Macaroni quiz at this late date, so I understand if you just weren't noticing the subtle difference in the cheesy macaroni. :)

We parked our stroller (to be rearranged by some over-achiever CM the minute we leave) and found a choice spot a little to the left but pretty close to the front. Close enough to really feel the fire!

What is with those stroller arranging MGM CM's? I never out and out lost a stroller in any of the other parks at all, period. I think I lose the stroller at Disney/MGM an average of 3 times a day! Sometimes they move them to the exit, I guess. Other times it just seems, well, like random stroller shuffling. I can't abide random stroller shuffling!

So glad that the rest of your time at the Studios turned out well and that you got much video footage to tide you over till next trip. When is that next trip, anyhow? :teeth: I am already anticipating that this TR is going to end sooner than I would strictly prefer and therefore, I hope you have another trip in the works already!

Working on it! Takes time, sorry!

I have been on hold for the last 20 minutes with Disney's Central Lost and Found...we had lost a silkie baby blanket on 9/10 in Fantasy Land at MK. Thought it was a gonner! BUT! It was in the lost and found and they're sending it to us! Yippee! It was easily replacalbe...but still. It was Norah's baby blanket.
So I'm feeling a little pixie dusty today! :cloud9:   :lovestruc :sunny:
oh my gosh!not the pink silkie, silkie :furious: i know how norah gets without it ..... it must have been horrible without it ..i know mayson would die without his (that ironically enough mrs utahmamma gave him) they better next day air that puppy :wizard: i will pray for you....... :lovestruc and norah

Can I take your family next time I try the Prime Time Cafe?! I always wind up with people who won't play along and it's BORING. Oh, and I'm with you and the WDW MacnCheese Experience. DS's Disney diet is the same, plus copious amounts of nuggets and fries. :crazy2:
I'm sorry you guys had such a rocky start, but happy to hear you wound up having a nice day after all!

If you managed to get over 10 hrs of video I am starting to rethink the not taking the DVD recorder with me to transfer my video onto disc. At this time I only have about 1 1/2 hrs recording time on my memory cards :sad2:

OMG he used his sleeve... :scared1:

I could let having elbows on the table but this....my six year still wears a bib if we are having a messy meal. Not all the time, I am not that bad. Will may be I am, even gone as far as taking the shirt off at home.

We loved the Primetime too. Son plays along real well and tries to get everyone in trouble including himself :confused3

I had a blast at Prime time when we were there with the marching band kids.

I agree with you, don't go to an interactive restaurant if you don't want to play along! What's a little humiliation??

Here' something sad I am going to share with you about the PrimeTime Cafe.

I was shocked to see my dishes, you know the ones I use everyday for meals? they are on display there in cabinets for decoration and people laugh and make fun of them. :sad2:

When did you get your dishes? :confused3 If you recently got them I would have to wonder if maybe Disney is confused about them being from the 50's era :confused3

The were made in the 50's in California. Called Desert Rose, and handed down to me... I love them but was embarassed to see them at the PTC!

Oh those are pretty. Don't know why anyone would be laughing unless they also have those dishes and were just getting a kick out of seeing their dishes :thumbsup2

Life is sweet when 50's PT gets to have our hubbies at their mercy! My DH didn't eat all his um shall we say nasty for lack of other description on the green beans. The waiter took them to momma and she made a green bean sundae out of them for hubby to eat.... mmmmm whip cream and all!!!! our kids still to this day tease him over his green bean sundae

I am clueless what does Gary Sinise and epcot have to do with each other? :confused3 I like Gary and being pooh sized I was happy he likes his women a little on the chunky size..

I guess the worst part was when being seated at an incredibly busy time my daughter stopped dead and pointed & yelled out "Hey, those are our dishes" and everyone looked at us :rotfl: our cousin had a few laughs at our expense too.
