I think your Jungle Cruise driver missed his comedy 101 class. Never say just kidding or get it after a joke, it kills whatever hope you had of getting laughs!

I do find the JC too painful to ride. I almost feel sorry for the CMs who work there and have to recite the same spiel over and over again. Although I think I would have enjoyed being on *Poohs* with the heckler from Utah!

I have to say - I feel like I've been "focking" you (figuaratively speaking of course) online for the last couple of days - you and Twinkie always seem to end up on the fun threads!!

The JC is cause for much disdain between me and DH - I go on it out of tradition but let's face it - after 20 times or so the jokes just aren't nearly as funny anymore. However, my DH STILL laughs, and I mean real, bowl-full-o-jelly, geeky like Screech laughs everytime and I'm about over it!

Your rendition was spot on in both threads and quite entertaining!

I Thought someone was (fuguratively) focking me from afar! You'd probably like the limey's on "What do do when you meet DIS people in the parks" thread. I subscribe to it so I dont know where it is at the moment. And My Top 10 one is fun too.

How are Norah's lips since you have been back?

Yes...I am racking up my posts, but it's only because I'm feeling lazy. It's a nice touch to personalize each and every shout out. I like it when a trip reporter acknowledges me! Two of my subscribed TR's TOTALLY ignore me and that sucks!!!!!!

See, Norah got Impetigo which is an antibiotic resistant STAPH infection which may or may not have been contracted from the paint a cookie at the Concourse Steak House....The paintbrush looked "frayed" but I used it on Norah like lipgloss...That's when the rash started. Plus I had only just wiped her with a napkin and plopped the binky back in...to fester! Her lips had been chapped and she touches every available surface.


Long story short, It got worse then better then WAY worse...all crusty and oozy. Took her to the Pediatrician and it's staph! She's on heavy duty antibiotics and SHE NEEDS PRAYERS!!!!!!

Please!!! Pray for my honery baby! It's very sore and very raw! I put neosporin ointment on her lips several times a day.

I am sending prayers your way. DS 12 had this in July. His fever was 102 for a week. Took him to Dr. but they thought it was just a virus, b/c DS did not tell us about a sore on his knee. A week later it looked like he had been bit by a spider on hus arm. It was very bad--it was the size of a half dollar. I took him back to the DR. and on the way he said mom maybe the Dr. should look at my knee as well there are blisters on it. He did have staph on his knee and arm. This was at the end of July and we had to go back 2 weeks ago because he had a new spot on his knee. I was ahead of the game the 2nd time. When I saw the blister we went. Hopefully it is now cleared up--but it wa scary. He was put on sulfa drugs and it cleared it up by the time he finished them. Good luck.
