I think your Jungle Cruise driver missed his comedy 101 class. Never say just kidding or get it after a joke, it kills whatever hope you had of getting laughs!

I'm going to be looking out for that driver when I go. Think if I printed this part of your trip report he'd autograph it for me?

UM you crack me up.

I do find the JC too painful to ride. I almost feel sorry for the CMs who work there and have to recite the same spiel over and over again. Although I think I would have enjoyed being on *Poohs* with the heckler from Utah!

Looking forward to more!! Hint, Hint!! Secretly I was hoping you'd end up at Whispering Canyon...I can just imagine - or maybe I can't! - what your TR from there would say! I love that place - they make me laugh and embarrassed the heck out of me for my birthday breakfast....Ever seen anyone have ride one of those stick horses throughout the lobby of the hotel yelling Happy Birthday to Me?? Just as a BUSLOAD of ME check-in's arrive too!! Well, guess I'm over that fear of public speaking!!

Yes, as a matter of fact, I Had to ride a stick horse there on my 38th b-day and LOUDLY sing happy Birthday to mySELF. Did I mention I have bladder issues?
I was all politely refusing, "Oh, no-no, I just couldn't..." THEN I yanked the stick pony outa Senior Dusty Trails' fist and RODE! Giddy yup and Yee Haw!

DONT go there on your birthday without taking your Paxil first!

I find it almost painful to ride the JC. I always feel bad when no one laughs at the corny OLD jokes! (And I'm not a good fake laugher.) So, even if you were laughing for the wrong reasons, laugh away! In my personal he__ I'd be forced to ride that thing over and over. With a skipper that can't tell a joke. And a boatload of people who won't even crack a smile. Give me IASW anytime!

My personal He** would be a "Magical Gathering" of any sort. Have you read SoRuL82?'s latest trippie ? I would need a pharmacist along with me. And I DO NOT do drugs,

We had this gent as well. In fairness, he does have to use the script given to him....poor guy. Can you imagine having to do this over and over? Our kids actually cracked up at him....because they got most of the jokes. We went in February. Luckily he was not sweaty and breathing heavily then. That might have colored my experience too...and mai tai say, this is not our favorite ride, by a long shot. Needs something....don't ya think?

They DO need to update this ride!!!! Not sure what though....
Scrapping the mold of the hippos and elephants would be a good start!
This ride is only my "ride" because of the good memories with my family. There arent very many of those, I'm afraid!

Just started reading your post last night. I have been very entertained--I LOL over the poop of 98. Just wanted to say you left and came back on fantastic days--the 5th DD turned 9 and the 14th DS turned 1. I am at home today with him as he has been sick so please post more soon before I have to go back to work. Can't wait to see how WC went for you guys. I must admit I am a jungle cruise fan. I love that the jokes are the same as when I went to Disneyland over 20 years ago. Thanks for quoting all the "stupid Jokes." It was great fun to experience the jungle cruise this morning.

That was great UMama! I love when we get one of the captains who ad-lib, but it's almost as much fun to laugh too much with the ones who just do the script. Sometimes, you'll even get them to loosen up and try an ad-lib in the process!

I have had the BEST skippers, lemme tell YOU! I have cracked UP! Now, the enthusiasm is understandibly lacking! There needs to be a huge overhaul of that ride.
