As to tipping...on a b2b....we were assigned to the same servers and stateroom steward for both cruises...we tipped them after each cruise..it seemed easier that way...and we thought the CMs appreciated it that way...Some of them send money home so we wanted them to have it after each cruise. Incidentially, it didn't hurt tipping after the first cruise, since, the CMS knew us well during the second cruise and we got extra special attention. One other thing, we really felt that the CMs did a fantastic job so, on both cruises, we did tip more than the "recommended" amount, and we felt they truly deserved it.

“Hemant” from India as the Head Server

Enjoyed reading your report, thank you, and particularly interested to see Hemant was your Head Server. He was our server in May 2006 and we have a request in to have him as our server in April 2007, which obviously DCL can't grant now! But perhaps he'll be our Head Server. It doesn't surprise us at all that he's been promoted, he was excellent.

My wife and I are doing this next January (2008)....same cruises (1/5 and 1/12). We were curious about the check-in for a two week cruise. This really is helpful. Any suggestions to make our trip "extra" special? We are also DVC'ers and love it. Still waiting on the new points chart. Hope they don't go up. Sounds like a wonderful (and long) cruise! Did it still seem like it was over really fast?

WOW...great TR...have to admit there is the jealouy factor with the 2 week cruise. We are on the Jan 19th, 2008 Eastern 7 day. I was thinking that it would be great to do the b2b wonder/4 day/3day and get the time at CC. But, it would be even better to do a 2 week like you. And good for you for wearing the tux, I want DH to wear one also, and I was wondering about rentals and how it worked. We will be renewing our wedding vows on our trip, so a tux is definitely needed.
