Every time I see Polynesian pictures, I say almost out loud how much I love that place. So pretty! I just love the atmosphere there.

How sweet that you guys got to dance for everyone.

I had to laugh at the dress change too, I do the same. Although I haven't got into wearing dresses at the parks too much, but I do like wearing them for dinners. Must make it easier to change staying at a monorail resort too

I think this was the first trip where I wore dresses the whole time. It was actually quite comfy. I wore spanx underneath them.

Day 5 – August 17, 2012

We woke up around 9 am sad. Tomorrow will be our last full day at Disney. Boo. But, we tried to not let it get the best of us! It was an Epcot day! We had grabbed some apple slices the night before at Capt. Cook’s and put them in our mini fridge, so we ate those at we walked to the TTC. I have to warn you..my camera decided to act up this day! Some of my pictures did not want to cooperate in the sun, so I apologize in advance. We didn’t have to wait too long for a monorail to come.

And away we went! Good-bye Poly! You can also see some of the GF DVC construction in this picture:

Going by the entrance to WL..we miss staying in the villas there! It was the first place we stayed once we became DVC members.

Made it to Epcot!

MS. I think one of those benches is where Kristen and I sat while we waited for our husbands to ride. We were so into our conversation that we didn’t see them walk by us like 5 times!:

Nemo! I always yell Nemo in my little kid voice and then say, “Nemo’s gonna touch the butt!”:

First order of business once we got off the monorail: Soarin’ FP’s! So to The Land we headed. And wow! The FP return time was already for 2:25 – 3:25! We will take it!

Since we hadn’t eaten very much, we stopped at Sunshine Seasons for some food. I had sushi and DH had a cheese and grape platter. I also happened to see a DIS’er (NikkiLovesWDW!), but I was too shy to say anything to her! The views from our table:

With some food in our stomachs, we decided to head back to the front of the park and ride SE. Of course, the line was already weaving outside. However, it seems to move pretty fast.

We used the WDW App every day of the trip and loved it! We would look up ride times while in line to pass the time.

In one of my Hidden WDW Secrets books, they said that there is a dark part of the ride where you need to take a flash picture and you will see something. This is what I found!:

After we looked around there for awhile, it was time to head to Canada for our lunch ADR! We saw this quote on the way and thought it sounded just like DH!

I think that quote would look very neat in our garage, since DH is always out there working on things.

Of all the times we’ve been to WDW, I can honestly say I have never gone in the gift shop in Canada! So we decided to explore:

In the gift shop, I found the most hilarious soaps! I tried to take pictures, but my camera was not being nice!

We were getting hungry and it was almost our ADR time, so to Le Cellier we went! We were so excited to be back:

We were seated right away. It took our eyes a few minutes to adjust to the darkness. We were laughing as we were trying to read the menu. Of course, we knew what we were having our appetizer..Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup of course! I have the recipe to it in one of my WDW cookbooks. For my main course, I had the filet mignon with mushroom risotto. For his main course, DH had the NY Strip Steak. For dessert, we both had the chocolate-on-chocolate whiskey cake. Everything was amazing as usual. The only thing we were a little upset about was how rushed our meal was. Our main course came out before we were even finished with our soup. Oh well. We will definitely come back!

Once we made it back out to WS, we saw how dark it was getting outside. We decided it would be a good time to ride Maelstrom. As we made it around WS to Norway, we had a good look at the storm!

We started walking faster. We made it just in time!

Does the kid smiling while cutting fish creep anyone else out?

It was still pouring when we got off the ride, so we looked around the shop until the rain let up a bit. It was getting close to our FP return time for Soarin’, so we decided to head that way. Of course, as soon as we started walking, it started pouring again! So, we ran into the gift shop in Mexico and got ponchos. There was hardly anyone else out walking around. The park felt very quiet!

Ahh World Showcase… so beautiful. I love your idea to put Walt's quote in the garage - my husband is a tinkerer too (and works on cars for a living). I don't think I've ever seen that Maelstrom sign say anything but 5minutes… I feel sad for it. I think that it is a cute ride.

That would be a good thing to get a new camera! Maybe I can convince my hubby to get me a new DSLR but I doubt that will happen since there is nothing wrong with mine. I just want a new one. lol.

drop it. on accident of course.

i recommend the sony nex cameras, all the functions as the cannon/Kodak type DSLR, but half the size...and really cool features.

Just read the WHOLE thing! Can't believe you didn't say hi!! We could've totally had so much fun together drinking in WS!!

And I'm pretty sure we were also right near Norway when that storm rolled in. I have a very similar picture of the sky over the lagoon. I remember how the wind just started whipping like crazy and everyone went running for cover! Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, we were in China. So funny!

Oh and we totally bought Beaver Butt soap!

Those pictures of the waterfall in Canada are so stunning. Very nice! I also love all the pictures you took from the monorail. Nice!

Yeah for taking that flash picture. I know people like to flame for that, but why else would it be there? I tried to take that picture in October, but my camera wanted nothing to do with it. Next time I'll have to force the flash.

Ooh, the dress you wore to 'Ohana is just perfect! I love that you had to change clothes. I feel like I am constantly changing outfits - partly because it's so hot outside and we have to break for the pool or something.

That kid cutting the fish on the Norway mural is a bit creepy looking. Like he's up to something.

What do you mean you are already up to the end of your trip? Only one day left? I feel like it's only just begun! Crazy.

I can't wait to see the new Fantasyland one day! I am dying to eat at Be Our Guest!
