Our August 2006 TRIP REPORT (with lots of Pictures) ***COMPLETE***

:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

This morning we got up early for our date with the princesses. princess: princess:
We were scheduled to have breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table. Our ADR was for 8:15 so we got to walk down Main Street with it almost empty. :woohoo:
We got in the (LONG) line and waited to check in. We admired the mosaics while in line -- they are really impressive.

When we checked in, we found out that there was a problem in the kitchen. They were not serving the “normal” breakfast, there would only be fruit and some breads.

The only good thing was that we were not charged for the breakfast. Nothing. Zero. Nada. Zilch. Naught. Nil. Zip. We got to see all the princesses at CRT, and have our pictures taken with Cinderella and it didn’t cost us anything! Holy MOLY! Craziness at WDW!!

Admittedly, this character interaction was sucky. The princesses stopped long enough to pose and were off to the next table. I was really glad we got to experience this for free, because if we’d have paid for it, I would have been pissed. (can I say that on here?)

After breakfast we headed over to Fantasyland and we rode Philharmagic and looked again at Cindy's Carousel. We looked again at her horse out of the MK and said goodbye to the castle and to Main Street for this trip.:sad1:

This is supposed to be the only picture in the MK of Cindy and the prince after the wedding.... Not sure if its true, but it sure is pretty!

Next we headed over to Epcot where we planned to spend our last few hours at WDW. Our first stop was the Land to ride Living with the Land – as we had yet to see it on this trip. We had a live person as our guide.

We still had, I don’t know, at least 5 or 6 snack credits we needed to use so we stopped for a pretzel and some candied nuts. The ducks got a lot of the pretzel.

We took the boat across to WS and I got a MICKEY BAR! I couldn’t leave without having one! I also stopped a family with 2 daughters and asked if they would like a free ice cream. They didn't quite get it, I had to expain the entire DDP to them before they would let their kid have some free ice cream. The younger daughter finally took it, but I had to spend several minutes convincing them!

After our Backstage Magic tour, we HAD to see American Adventure. It was neat seeing it from the “show” side. We really enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed the Voices of Liberty.

After touring a few countries, we admitted it was time to go…

We dragged ourselves to the exit and said good bye to the world for this trip.

On the walk to the front of the park, I was walking with DH and DD and we were talking about coming back. DH said that “when” we come back, he defiantly wanted to stay on property again and have the DDP again. I smiled to myself, knowing that the door had been opened and I was going to barge on thru to come back to the “happiest place in the world.”

The trip home was uneventful, and DD spent a good amount of time “crying” about leaving… Not really crying, but whining and “play crying” about leaving. I was right there with her.

This is the sunset on the plane coming home.... :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

That "when" was the BEST word I had heard all week!!! He is excited about our upcoming "adults only" trip. It's just us to celebrate our anniversary.
