Yum..tomato and mozzarella salad...and penne with vodka sauce...and "terrmasue"..I'm so sad you didn't like that!..I love it! That's like the only thing we don't have in common.

Whoa..Chris..looking HOTT in those pics! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2: Again, us 4 together..we are going to get kicked out of shops too.

Again, us 4 together..we are going to get kicked out of shops too.

I'm picturing the guys standing over at the side claiming that they don't know you girls. ;)

Your drawings are great!

I have to say - a sexy pose does lose something when there's a frog foot underneath, a food tray behind, and a little girl in princess ears in the background.

those pictures with the hat made me laugh! How was the penne ala vodka? i will most likely order that when im there since its my favorite but sometimes i just dont like it when its made a certain way..

also, i started a PTR, so you or anyone who is interested should check it out since i havent gotten really any replies on it yet lol, i had to do something to curb my excitement before the trip..heres the link

oh and i can't wait to read more about your trip =]

Come on people, tell me which Pooh you like better so I can tell you whose is whose!

Great update! The pictures of Chris in the hats are hilarious. :rotfl:

I've been seeing so many TRs lately where people do the Animation Academy. We've never done that (though we've gone in the animation building a lot) so I might have to convince my dad and sister to go in there!

HAHA I love those pictures, they had me cracking up. you guys should definitely do the Animation Academy. You guys will love it!

AWe. I don't think ones better.

They are each really good and have really nice aesthetics.

You can't ask an art teacher to chose lol

You of all people should be able to tell me which one is better! LOL HAHA

I like the skinny Pooh better :) And I think your Bf is DEFINATELY a Disney princess!!! hahaha. It's hilarious to see his sense of humor coming through!

Ok, I'm not going to tell you which Pooh you picked because I want more opinions! LOL I'm glad you enjoy Chris's princess side, he is pretty funny sometimes HAHA

Woo hoo for your December flights!

That calamari sounds divine! I love tiramisu, so I am very sad that you didn't like it.

Chris had me laughing out loud between his spelling, his sexy pose, and his Disney princess hat. He makes an adorable Disney princess! :rotfl2::lmao:

I am not weighing in on the Poohs because I don't like to hurt people's feelings. I think they are both lovely! :lmao: Which they are, by the way!

The calamari was goooood...I don't like when there's like no actual meat in them and these were very meaty. I didn't know if I didn't like tiramisu or if I didn't like MM's tiramisu but I realized I just didn't like it there! Bummer.

I'm glad you found humor in Chris's posing, spelling and hat wearing! LOL I did too!! haha I wish you would tell me which Pooh you liked because I want to have a contest! If you have a change of heart, let me know. No one will be hurt I promise :thumbsup2

Kristen great update! Chris is too funny with those hats! BTW he makes a perfect Disney Princess :rotfl2:! Your Airfare was a steal thats only like $20 more than I paid for our Aug/Sept Airfare through Airtran! :thumbsup2

HAHA My boyfriend, the Disney princess! I can't believe you got flights for only $59 each way! That would never happen here, I'm like 99% sure $79 is the cheapest I'll find! I checked Airtran today and thats how much they are from LaGuardia to Orlando ($79) and I'd have to drive into the city! Great catch on the $59 flights!

:woohoo: Score on the flight!!!! OMG girl we are going to have a blast in December with ya'll! Chris and Sidney will get along great! And us...duh!

I was just catching up and can not believe you didn't like the terrah me sue...:rotfl: The shot at the bottom is the best part! I'm finally planning my days for August...I know I'm a slacker. We're going to have the best time in December! Everyone's going to get along really well I just know it. I'm happy I booked our flights home...now we just have to get to FL! haha

Yeah, the terramasue LOL was just too alcohol tasting for me! Maybe if I just ate it quick like a shot I would have liked it better HAHA I can't believe you guys get to go again so soon! I need to work on my tan and weight asap! I've been running and TRYING to eat better but its hard when everyone around you eats like crap! UGH!

:lmao: OMG, I was laughing so hard I was crying through this update.

Yay for Mama Melrose..aw the pic of the lobby made me "homesick" for it. WOO KEVIN! You know the boys are going to get us kicked out if we see him.

I know you guys love you some MM...wait til you come to NY and have REAL Italian food! Still, MM was very good, just not the alcohol terramasue LOL

SO you though Chris looked hott in those pictures? Are you hitting on my boyfriend? Back off! :rotfl: j/k of course! They're hilarious and yes, I do think we're going to get kicked out of shops with the 2 boys together LOL

I'm picturing the guys standing over at the side claiming that they don't know you girls. ;) I can see that too...come to think of it, Chris does that to me on a regular basis.....LOL

Your drawings are great!

I have to say - a sexy pose does lose something when there's a frog foot underneath, a food tray behind, and a little girl in princess ears in the background.

MeMom, pick a drawing, which is better?!

You don't think his picture was sexy? I thought the sexiness just radiating off of him offset the frog foot, food tray and princess ears! :lmao:

those pictures with the hat made me laugh! How was the penne ala vodka? i will most likely order that when im there since its my favorite but sometimes i just dont like it when its made a certain way..

oh and i can't wait to read more about your trip =]

The pictures were definitely funny! HAHA The penne was good but not like you would have at Mama Lombardi's or Michelangelo's or any of the really good places by us. (I like that I can name places around here and you know what they are! LOL)

I'm gonna head over to your PTR right now!

Let's say I like the one on the left better.

Though I like the chubiness of the right one.

continued from previous post...

After dinner we got our little ticket for priority Fantasmic seating from our waitress and left. We needed a few minutes to digest and warm up (it was cold inside the restaurant!) so we just hungout outside the Muppets gift shop over there.

Chris's sexy pose :rotfl:
236.jpg

I yelled at him to get down after the picture because they probably need to usually tell 4 year olds to get off the statue, not 24 year olds
237.jpg

Once I was warm we headed into the shop over there to see what I could spend my money on. Right as we walked in there were shelves of ears and Chris walks over and I turn around to see this
238.jpg

:rotfl2::lmao: OMG Chris's BIG noggin in one of those little child hats, I seriously was crying laughing. I was DYING people were staring at me because I was laughing so hard. And that FACE! LOL I could barely take the picture because I was shaking from laughing. Then he puts this one on and the laughter continued...
239.jpg

My pretty little Disney Princess! HAHA

So I wiped the tears from my eyes and cleaned up the eyeliner dripping down my face and shopped. Like the good TR writer I am I dont have pictures of everything I bought here :headache: I got a shot glass that says DHS on it, a mug that Nicole (ibedancin24) asked me to pick up for her, a photo album, a mug for my mom and then since I spent over $50 Chris bought me a super cute Disney throw with Mickey and Minnie and the castle on it for $15. I think thats all I got for some reason it seems like not a lot of stuff for $50. Of course I had everything shipped back to ASMo which I think is the greatest idea ever.

Then I thought we should go see if we can do that Backlot Tour. We start walking down the Streets of America.
240.jpg

241.jpg

We get over to the BT and it's closed already! Ugh! I forgot to mention that at one point during the day, maybe it was right after dinner, we were going to go to see Lights! Motor! Action! and I realized that its only shown like twice a day and we missed that too! Chris was bummed! I promised him we'd definitely see it when we go back.

At this point we had time before Fantasmic! but not tons of time so I checked the times guide and realized the Animation Academy movie thing was starting soon so we went over that way and got in line. Seriously we timed it perfect because we waited like 3 mins in line and were the last 2 people in the theater. I thought this little movie was so cute! Our CM narrator could have used a cup of coffee though LOL Then we went through and got on line to do the drawing! I was so excited to do this even though I'm literally one of the worst artists you'll ever meet. Seriously, I have trouble drawing smiley faces. We drew Winnie the Pooh and Chris and I were cracking up the whole time because both of our drawings were just so bad. Here's what we drew
242.jpg

Then we proceeded to argue for the rest of the night about whose Pooh was better. Tell me what you guys think and then I'll tell you whose is whose

Kristen this is a tuff one because I kinda like both of them! But if I have to choose I choose the chubbier one because it looks a lil more like pooh than the skinny one. (The skinny one is just a lil to skinny)

The pictures were definitely funny! HAHA The penne was good but not like you would have at Mama Lombardi's or Michelangelo's or any of the really good places by us. (I like that I can name places around here and you know what they are! LOL)

I'm gonna head over to your PTR right now!

Yeah, i LOVE Mama Lombardi's penne but as long as the penne is decent at MM then ill love it too..& thanks for reading my PTR =]

I like the skinnier Pooh. Both ate cute, and acutally I think Pooh is a size in between the 2 drawings. LOL!
But both are actually really good. I can't draw a stick man.

Ok so the Pooh on the right was mine (chubby) and the one on the left was Chris's (skinny). Most people voted for his :headache: Thanks guys!  I told him it looked too much like Mickey Mouse and not enough like Pooh LOL

Let's say I like the one on the left better.

Though I like the chubiness of the right one.

Go with the one on the RIGHT! haha

Kristen this is a tuff one because I kinda like both of them! But if I have to choose I choose the chubbier one because it looks a lil more like pooh than the skinny one. (The skinny one is just a lil to skinny)

Yesss you picked mine! Thanks Colleen, I knew I liked you :lmao:

Yeah, i LOVE Mama Lombardi's penne but as long as the penne is decent at MM then ill love it too..& thanks for reading my PTR =]

Mama Lombardi's is sooo good! The penne at MM is good just not ML good. And you're PTRs going good :)

I like the skinnier Pooh. Both ate cute, and acutally I think Pooh is a size in between the 2 drawings. LOL!
But both are actually really good. I can't draw a stick man.

You picked Chris, thanks! LOL Yeah I think you're right though, mine was TOO fat and his was TOO skinny. I can't draw either, trust me!!

When I last left off we had just drawn our super cool Winnie the Pooh's at the Animation Academy. It was a really cool experience and even though neither of us can draw, it was lots of fun and we'll be back to try it again. After drawing we went back out to check out some of the other activities in the Animation Academy area. We saw Sorcerer Mickey and I think it was some of the Incredibles too. This trip we didn't stop and take any pictures with characters though, except for in Tusker House when we were there for breakfast. Next trip we'll stop more though. We went over to the little area where you can record yourself either saying a scene from a Disney movie or singing a song. We chose to sing a song and the song that was picked for us was "Unbirthday". Well we didn't know this song very well and it was HYSTERICAL listening to us trying to keep up with the words on top of the fact that we can't sing worth a lick. The playback of the song was just too much :rotfl:

Then we started heading over to Fantasmic! since it was around 7:15 and they told us to be there by like 7:30. We stopped in some stores along Sunset Blvd along the way including Villans in Vogue which I loved. I wanted to get a Jack Skellington sweatshirt but I never got one. I was also tempted to buy these ears too, but didn't.
243.jpg

We got over to Fantasmic! at exactly 7:30. Now I can't compare the way they let people into the theater to anything because the last time I was in WDW in 2005, I don't remember how it went LOL It seemed pretty organized to me though, people with the F! package entered on the right side and had to show their little ticket to get in over there. Everyone else went to the left. As I said, it was 7:30 and the place was already down to standing room only! They kept making announcements saying so and not to get up from your seat because they wouldn't guarantee you will have a place to sit when you got back. Anyway, we entered and then, like an idiot, I decided I wanted a frozen lemonade from the little stand at the top of the theater. So I risked it and had Chris save my seat and ran up to get it. The line probably had about 30 people in front of me and took FOREVERRRRR. Two people were running the stand but the one guy kept having to run and get supplies to restock when they ran out. It took 45 mins waiting on that line and I ended up getting the frozen lemonade and a churro for Chris.

I went back inside the theater and luckily my seat was still there. Shortly after, F! started! I love this show but I'm going to say its my least favorite of the night time shows. Anyway, I tried to get SOME pictures but like we all know, my camera it the worst. You'll be able to see how bad it is in these few pictures.

252.jpg

I had to get these ones, even if they're no good because Beauty and the Beast are my fave!
253.jpg

254.jpg

This is my favorite part! I got sooo excited here, Chris was making fun of me LOL
255.jpg

256.jpg

My main 2
257.jpg

258.jpg

I only kept the ones that were semi-blurry. All the rest were super-blurry. Like I said, I do love F!, alot but its not my favorite. I don't think Chris was super impressed with it either. Based on the turnout for it, I think he was expecting more.

After F! we still had RnRC FPs burning a whole in our pockets! I was hoping that since F! was just going on that maybe the standby line would be short and we'd be able to ride it 2x, once standby and once FP but the standby line was still really long, like at least a half hour. So we just got on the FP line and waited only 10 mins or so, maybe less. I have to say, RnRC is my 2nd favorite rollercoaster in WDW, only behind EE. I love the fast take off and then jamming to the Aerosmith music in the complete darkness, speeding around the loops and dips. Its so much fun! I wish we could have ridden again.

By the time we finished RnRC it was almost 10. I wish we weren't so tired because we could have checked out a few more things before we left but we were just pooped and headed out. We got back to ASMo at 10:15, cleaned up, I wrote in my trip journal and we read our books we brought with us until we fell asleep. Another successful, perfect, amazingly fun, amazingly TIRING day at WDW was under our belt. We went to sleep smiling :goodvibes

Next up:: Day 6 at Epcot!!!

Just getting caught up and I have to say that your last few updates have been cracking me up! I love the Muppet cast member! So funny. And Chris in those hats....I can't believe he let you post those pictures! :rotfl:

I think you should get the ears in December -- they are definitely you! :thumbsup2

What a crazy crowd for Fantasmic! We have never braved it, but I would love to see it -- especially after seeing your riverboat pictures! Too fun!

I know what you mean about being tired -- I always had such grand plans for the night, but we were always so beat!

Aside from this, he loved his chocolate cake and I found out i don't like tiramisu. Or terramasue. The bottom tasted like straight alcohol! Since then I tried a tiramisu shooter at P.F. Changs in Atlantic City and I liked that so I guess I just didn't like it from MM.

i had tiramisu at MM too and it wasn't that great, comparitively speaking. i think macaroni grill has better tiramisu and ray makes it at home sometimes it's REALLY good. and i'm SURE you can get it better in NYC!

Once I was warm we headed into the shop over there to see what I could spend my money on. Right as we walked in there were shelves of ears and Chris walks over and I turn around to see this
238.jpg

that's classic. i hope you have it framed!

I forgot to mention that at one point during the day, maybe it was right after dinner, we were going to go to see Lights! Motor! Action! and I realized that its only shown like twice a day and we missed that too! Chris was bummed! I promised him we'd definitely see it when we go back.

when friends ask me for advice about disney, the one thing i always tell them about DHS is get a times guide, pick out what you want to do and get a schedule in your head because it's mostly shows and you have to time it right or you're going to miss something. there's no way to do it ALL in one day because everything takes so much longer than, say, in MK since you can conquer a non-busy fantasyland in like an hour because the rides are so short. almost everything at DHS is a show that takes like at least 20 minutes so it sucks up time quick! anyway, just wanted to pass that advice along. i always get a times guide first thing there and pick what i want to do, circle the times to make everything fit and try to stick with that. :thumbsup2

Here's what we drew
242.jpg

Then we proceeded to argue for the rest of the night about whose Pooh was better. Tell me what you guys think and then I'll tell you whose is whose!

i like them both!!!! i think the one on the left is a little better but i think they're both awesome!

We chose to sing a song and the song that was picked for us was "Unbirthday". Well we didn't know this song very well and it was HYSTERICAL listening to us trying to keep up with the words on top of the fact that we can't sing worth a lick. The playback of the song was just too much :rotfl:

i've never done this....sounds fun! and i LOVE the unbirthday song! i have it on my ipod. :rotfl: i actually told alice and the mad hatter that it was my unbirthday the first time i met them at MK in 2007 and they both started singing to me! :goodvibes

Like I said, I do love F!, alot but its not my favorite. I don't think Chris was super impressed with it either. Based on the turnout for it, I think he was expecting more.

really? i absolutely love the part where mickey is on top of the mountain shooting off fireworks....gives me goosebumps! plus maleficent is a main character and she is my favorite villian. ray even knows the moves at the beginning where mickey first comes out. we just both love that show. i think my favorites in order are wishes, fantasmic, spectro, then illuminations, but they're all WONDERFUL!

I have to say, RnRC is my 2nd favorite rollercoaster in WDW, only behind EE. I love the fast take off and then jamming to the Aerosmith music in the complete darkness, speeding around the loops and dips. Its so much fun! I wish we could have ridden again.

i love it too! i think my fav coaster is EE and then space mountain behind that. i think if they played pink floyd instead of aerosmith i'd be much happier about it! :lmao: i've never been a big aerosmith fan though.

Hey Kristen, Great update! I can't believe I picked yours! :rotfl: Did they show you to draw the circle etc at the animation academy? I went to art school when I was younger I always liked to draw and still do sometimes when I'm bored! LOL! And that's how we were taught to draw faces circles and more circles!:thumbsup2 You really did a good job for not being able to draw! I think if yours was a tad bit thinner you might have nailed that pic of Pooh! ;) and if Chris's was a lil chubbier he might of ! ;)

OMG, that picture of Chris is too funny! :lmao: Love it! And it sounds like you got a lot of nice stuff that day too :thumbsup2

Sorry I haven't commented much. Things got pretty busy around here but I've been following along!

Yay cant wait to read about Epcot! :yay:.. popcorn::

Yess, check back soon, probably Wednesday!

Just getting caught up and I have to say that your last few updates have been cracking me up! I love the Muppet cast member! So funny. And Chris in those hats....I can't believe he let you post those pictures! :rotfl:

haha I'm glad you've liked them! The Muppet CM was too funny, I hope that everyone thought it was funny and not mean! LOL

Chris thought the hat pictures were hilarious too and knew when I took them they would be posted on here. He didnt care! He has no shame :rotfl:

Sounds like you & Chris had a fun night at DHS! I just wrote you back on Facebook, too! :)

It was a really fun night. And I just wrote back to you on FB...OMG I can't believe you might go when we go! You should and we better get to meet up! :woohoo:

I think you should get the ears in December -- they are definitely you! :thumbsup2

What a crazy crowd for Fantasmic! We have never braved it, but I would love to see it -- especially after seeing your riverboat pictures! Too fun!

I know what you mean about being tired -- I always had such grand plans for the night, but we were always so beat!

Well not to spoil it but I ended up getting them before the trip was over! You'll see...

The F! crowd was crazy. An hour before showtime and standing room only. I would definitely suggest seeing it because it is a great show but maybe do the F! dinner package. I've been suggesting that a lot because otherwise you need to get to the theater at least an hr and a half before the show starts and fight for a good seat. I'm sure its because they cut the number of showings down.

We always had plans to be out late but because we were waking up so early and running day to day, it was impossible! I definitely can relate with you on that one.

i had tiramisu at MM too and it wasn't that great, comparitively speaking. i think macaroni grill has better tiramisu and ray makes it at home sometimes it's REALLY good. and i'm SURE you can get it better in NYC! Yeah, when I ate it I thought I just didn't like tiramisu but then trying it at PF Changs I did like it so I guess MMs just isnt too great. Glad I'm not just going crazy LOL

that's classic. i hope you have it framed! I should get it framed, shouldn't I? It definitely makes me crack up every time i see it LOL

i like them both!!!! i think the one on the left is a little better but i think they're both awesome! you picked Chris's! I can't let him know that most people thought his was better

i've never done this....sounds fun! and i LOVE the unbirthday song! i have it on my ipod. :rotfl: i actually told alice and the mad hatter that it was my unbirthday the first time i met them at MK in 2007 and they both started singing to me! :goodvibes it was fun! it was funny too because I knew some of the words and Chris knew NONE. You would probably be really good at it! That sounds like a great character interaction with alice and the mad hatter too! I can't wait to stop and meet some characters when we go back.

really? i absolutely love the part where mickey is on top of the mountain shooting off fireworks....gives me goosebumps! plus maleficent is a main character and she is my favorite villian. ray even knows the moves at the beginning where mickey first comes out. we just both love that show. i think my favorites in order are wishes, fantasmic, spectro, then illuminations, but they're all WONDERFUL! don't get me wrong, I do like F! I remember reading in your TR about your F! experience. I really enjoy it but its last on my nighttime show list, thats all. I think its so cute that ray knows the moves at the beginning!

i love it too! i think my fav coaster is EE and then space mountain behind that. i think if they played pink floyd instead of aerosmith i'd be much happier about it! :lmao: i've never been a big aerosmith fan though.

I haven't gotten a chance to ride SM since 2005! I can't wait to try it with the updates. EE is my fave too. Pink Floyd music would be great to rock out on a rollercoaster to, too.

Hey Kristen, Great update! I can't believe I picked yours! :rotfl: Did they show you to draw the circle etc at the animation academy? I went to art school when I was younger I always liked to draw and still do sometimes when I'm bored! LOL! I think if yours was a tad bit thinner you might have nailed that pic of Pooh! ;) and if Chris's was a lil chubbier he might of ! ;)

Yess I knew I liked you, you picked mine! haha Yes they did have us do the cirlces to start his head. I couldn't draw a circle though so that failed LOL If we blended our 2 Poohs, they would make the perfect one!

OMG, that picture of Chris is too funny! :lmao: Love it! And it sounds like you got a lot of nice stuff that day too :thumbsup2

Sorry I haven't commented much. Things got pretty busy around here but I've been following along!

:rotfl: it was a funny picture! You're leaving for FL soon so don't be sorry about no commenting, it's perfectly fine!
