Our Adventure in Disney a.k.a. Yippee We Are Now Annual Passholders!

We just came back on 10/27 from our Adventure! We stayed at our new condo (I finally got to see is as I was pregnant in May when we bought it!). My youngest Son is now 4 months old and big enough to travel! I have a few comments to make about our trip. First of all - I am so excited to now be an annual passholder and I can't wait until January when we go back.... but what is the deal with the paper passes? I am a little upset that they issued us these flimsy paper passes. And I have to tell you that the Nemo Ride at EPCOT is so awesome!!! Both of my sons loved it.... and so did I! And - I brought my three year old to Blizzard Beach and I was amazed how much he could do there! It was a pleasant surprise for me. I went thinking we would have to stay in a kiddee area - but that was not the case! One last thing that surprised me.... DisneyQuest. My three year old had such a blast there... I would definately reccomend it! It was so great!

thanks for your info. I too love Disney Quest. We spent a good 4 hours there and I had a blast with the pin ball machines.
I liked the smaller version of the wave pool at BB too.

Wow, where do you guys originally live. Great investment. I would love to own a house, condo, anything in Florida. In 2000, we rented a 3 bedroom home with swimming pool. The price was $145,000.00, the same home is now $280,000.

Where did u activate your passes? We are getting ours in Dec. and I am so excited to go to WDW 6 times next yr. Hooray! What are we going to do with ourselves? You would think the tickets wouldn't be paper, all the $ you pay for them.

We got ours at Guest Relations right outside EPCOT! It is the strangest feeling knowing you can go anywhere in WDW... It's like getting the keys to the world!!!! We'll be leaving the day you arrive....

It's a mylar/paper stock. It's surprisingly durable. As much as we use ours with FP's, turnstyles, discounts, etc., we have never ripped one yet. In fact you will probably wear out the magnetic strip before you wear out the paper. They do give you a different sense of freedom and the ability to take it easy or skip parks all together.

I love it so much! This sounds so corny... but it really is my Disney Dream come True!!! My next purchase for my next trip will be a lanyard of some kind so I don't have to dig through the diaper bag for mine and my three year old's passes!!! It will have to be really durable though.....

We live in RI..... and we started last March looking to purchase a condo near the parks with my sister and brother-in-law. We decided that it would pay for itself fast (since we went three times in 2005!). I think we paid right around $165K for a three bed two bath... and then hired a management company to rent it for us and take care of the place when we are not using it!!! I am so excited to be able to go somewhere warm in January and March (It's pretty cold here!) I would highly reccomend it!!!

Anyway,I'm super excited about our trip in January. It will be so great to be there with the one who taught me everything I know about Disney. Can't wait to hang out with the boys and see the condo!
