Okay this is my first trip report but I really wanted to share with all of you the fabulous adults only getaway we had a few weeks ago. First I would like to introduce you to my wonderful family.
So, how did we manage a few days away without the girls? Simple. Every year the girls go to west Virginia to spend 2 weeks with both sets of grandparents(two weeks total not each grandparent). They really look forward to this every year. They only see their grandparents once or twice a year so when they are there they are spoiled beyond compare! My parents and my DH's parents take them on vacations and shopping and camping so we felt no guilt whatsoever going on vacation without them. Now they have been doing this for years and every year we say we are going to go off by ourselves and every year we find a reason not to. Well this year I was not taking any excuses we were going and we were going to have a great time together!
First we had to decide where to go. We have friends who visited St. Augustine Fl a few years ago and just raved about it so we thought we would check it out but I could not be that close to WDW and not go to WDW so we decided to spend two days in St. Augustine and two in WDW.
