We just got home Monday night from a fabulous trip I didn't want to end. My husband, Keith (54) and I (Susan 53) were at Pop from Thursday morning Oct 18 to Monday night Oct 22. We flew Airtran out of Buffalo non-stop. Our flight crew going down were funny and even bought us a drink for our anniversary. That was only the start of the wonderful things that happened to us while we were away.:yay:

We took DME and were at the resort by noon. We were given anniversary buttons and wore them the entire time we were in disney. All of our requests were granted, 4th floor, king bed, 50's building. The room was ready!!! Our package didn't start until the next day, so we did have to check out and check back in, but we stayed in the same room so that was great. We had a room overlooking the bowling pin pool, but view didn't matter much to us since we are in the room so rarely.

We had the free dining plan QS, and let me tell you, if you do your homework you can easily "spend" $80 a day for 2 people, but more on that later. We unpacked, got the bus to DD and started our vacation with NO KIDS! Don't get me wrong, we love our kids to death, but we always tend to do what they want no matter what. They are 16 and 23 now and believe me, we heard from them often (via text).....there were times I wished they were with us, but most of the time NOT (lol). ;) We had a 7 o'clock ADR at Raglan Road, so we just hung out, had a couple cocktails at Hole In the Wall next to RR, people watched, and finally we were starving and were able to move our ADR to 6:15....Raglan Road was fantastic! We had to pay OOP but it was worth every penny. We had a great waitress named Jennifer. We started with the ribs, I had the beef stew, Keith had the seafood in a creamy sauce....can't remember the actual names of these. There was also a delicious soda bread that came with a dipping oil. I could have made the ribs and bread my meal. I wanted to drink the rest of the oil but didn't want to make a scene (lol). Jennifer talked us into getting the bread pudding, I was never a fan of bread pudding but let me tell you, it was so good. The portion was so large it was enough for 4. Keith and I split it and still had some left over. I failed to mention the dancing....now being from Buffalo, we see some pretty good Irish dancing, a huge Irish population.....these dancers were unbelievable! So entertaining and they would bring kids on the stage to dance....adorable. I must say, we had kids all around us and they were very well behaved. Honestly, our whole trip we saw more well behaved kids than bratty kids....and I tell the parents too.....there is nothing better than having a complete stranger tell you that your kids are good. Music to their ears!

We were exhausted after getting up at 5 a.m., so we headed back to POP, falling fast asleep dreaming of Epcot and F & W......
