Went to Epcot on Thursday Oct. 1 and MK on Oct. 2. Epcot was great. Did food and wine. Did Sorin and TT. We lasted until around 5, then headed back to the resort. Food and wine was great. Friday did MK. We had breakfast at BoG, and headed to SDMT. Guess what, it was down. Headed to Fantasy Land. Did everything we wanted as a walk on, had FP for PP. Went to Jungle Cruise, Pirates, and HM. All pretty much walked on. Went to the people mover, CoP, Laughing floor. Went to Splash and TM with FP. Were done by 1:30. Wanted to do talking Mickey, but he was not talking.
Used touring plans for room and also sent a letter a couple of weeks ahead, did not get area we wanted. I had a feeling it was going to go that way, since they moved a lot of people from Aruba and Jamaica over to the preferred sections. Asked for Building 26, got 24. Plus we were only going to be there for 3 nights. It was okay, but not close to what we requested. Weather was great.
Had a couple of issues. Rented a ECV from Apple Scooters. Went to go get it, they had the key, but no ECV. Not sure what happened there, but it was replaced after an hour. Went to Customs house to send a package. Took forever. Finally they gave us a voucher for a cab, since we would of missed our ADR at Ohanna"s. It was a good trip, but I think we will hold off for a couple of years. Disney needs to get things back on track, and quit raising the prices. If it were not for the military discount, we would not be going. The value is not there for the amount of money they charge anymore.
