Day 4 of our vacation: 12/27
I did get up at 6am as planned (yeah me! You go girl. LOL.. with 2 hours sleep!) and we headed for Epcot to get there by 7:30 -kids completely ready with their little backpacks complete with suckers, PB&J sandwiches, chips and cookies. :)

When we got there- hardly anyone was there! They let us in a few minutes early and ofcourse took some pics of us (which ofcourse I also purchased later- I bought the pics every park we went to- even US/IOA. LOL Hey, this was our first vacation there! LOL) and then we head out to the Land. That agriculture ride was kinda boring but the kids did like seeing the fish and alligators or crocs or whatever they were. LOL (baby ones)

Then we head towards where I was reading, in my handy dandy map/guide they'd given us at MK, about breakfast with the Princesses... Princess Storybook breakfast ofcourse. (remember- I had no idea what PS meant at that point- again showing my WDW ignorance LOL) They had that part of the park roped off still but I asked if going that way was the Princess Storybook breakfast and I GUESS (I figured that out later) he must have thought that meant we had a PS because he just opened it to let us through and that was my answer. We went and got in line and they asked our names- that is when I figured out they must need reservations? LOL But they were able to seat us without a PS just fine and it was a WONDERFUL breakfast. I highly recommend it! The food was DE-LICIOUS and the characters were nice to come by the table and all (remember- my first experience with a character meal.LOL) and everyone's children stayed at their table and there wasn't any of the mad dashes towards characters like I have read in other threads here. My youngest did not freak like I thought she might- with the characters... but my son wasn't all that impressed (ofcourse) with all the characters -they're all GIRLS mommm! LOL But they all did get a real kick out of Mary Poppins. She isn't one of MY favorite characters but they sure liked her- she really played the part and was a total hoot! They really started believing in the characters when she came alone. They were all like MOM... it's the REAL Mary Poppins! (with eyes googling out of their heads like they just couldn't believe it! LOL) She even got my youngest to start eating her breakfast- I can't remember how she did that! I will have to find that part of the many videos I took of our trip and figure out how she did that. LOL
Got lots of pics and videotaped all the characters with my children and ofcourse autographs. I even have on videotape my son whispering to Jasmine that he thinks she is soooo beautiful. He had to tell her in secret don't you know. LOL

We rode some rides and did some shows (Honey I Shrunk the Audience was our first experience with a 3-D show that also got you wet, blew air at your feet making you think those mice were running over your feet/etc. What a hoot!) My children were fine- but my son doesn't like 3-D much. We found that out throughout the trip- anything that had 3-D glasses- he did not want to wear them. If he put them on- he'd get scared. The ONLY ride he eventually put on his glasses and was fine with it (even after many times telling him it's not real- the glasses just make it look that way) was on the THIRD time riding Spiderman at IOU. But he loves Spiderman... like totally into Spiderman. Santa even had to bring him a webber... don't you know. LOL

But I digress... Test Track was very cool- but only my oldest could ride it. We took advantage of the childswap thing a LOT on this trip.. since my youngest couldn't ride hardly anything and my son is still pretty short too and some rides he couldn't ride. We all liked TT though. We agreed it would be a ride we'd want to ride again- and maybe even a 3rd time- if not for the super long line by that time! LOL

We got our seats early for the parade (near a bench- but only enough room for me to sit because some people were sitting there with clickers counting how many people walked each way-they worked for Epcot I guess... the kids on the ground, stroller next to me with hubby behind the stroller). It was nice... but kind of repetitive with the same type of puppets/etc over and over. The music was stuck in all of our heads (I know because they kept humming it for hours LOL) for quite some time afterwards. I liked the music. :) Videotaped that one -with pics- also.

We left shortly after that (not exploring nearly enough of Epcot- I realize now! We couldn't even find the Kidcot things at all. I kept looking and looking- and I didn't even know there were rides and stuff on that side of Epcot! I looked for Maelstrom but couldn't find it. Needless to say I plan on spending a lot of time at Epcot on my upcoming trip! We ripped ourselves off on rushing out of Epcot that day!

We left and I had to go pick up my etickets from Universal Studios (had bought them online advance purchase also) and what a pain to go up there and get the tickets! LOL I got a movie/meal deal for each of us while there but THANKFULLY did not go ahead and pay for the $99 each for the NYE special they had going on. We still had a babysitter for that night- but after I didn't get the tickets- we later decided it wasn't worth a night out without the kids (even though we NEVER get to at home- ever hardly ever ever LOL) to pay $26 an hour for the babysitter plus $200 for that evening out. It would have been around $400 for that one evening. And bars/clubs aren't our thing anyway. So it mainly would have been just for the food! NO thanks.

We had reservations for Arabian Nights (those coupon books they have all over the place are really worth picking up. We saved $5 each although later on in the week I looked through more coupon books and found an even better deal! Ohwell! LOL0 at 6pm. We got there a little later than we expected due to HORRIBLE traffic getting there at 5:30 instead of 5pm and being we are a 5 people family- there wasn't many seats left for us. :( We ended up sitting on the very very last row way up at the top at one end... but the view was fantastic! We were last to be served food and all that- but it was probably better we were on the back row because the kids kept needing to go to the restrooms! ugh! LOL I have nice photos of us with the horses that they take in the beginning also- btw. LOL It was very expensive- even with the coupons, but a lot of fun. I think we enjoyed it more than we would have Medieval Times (which I had tried to reserve first and couldn't get reservations on that night for 5 people) because it was more like a beautiful show with horses- instead of the pole fights (or whatever you call that LOL) I don't know if it was because I was RAVENOUS by that point or what- the kids had had PB&J sandwiches/etc but I hadn't eaten since our very early breakfast at the Princess Storybook breakfast- so that was 10hrs before!) but the food was oh-my-goodness delicious! I ate every bite and it was quite a bit of food. The prime rib just melted in my mouth- didn't even need the knife really!
We couldn't find my regular camera! The last time we'd seen it was hanging off the stroller at Epcot and hubby went back to the van to look for it since the stroller was in there- but he said it wasn't there. So I had to take digi camera pics the entire time and I hate that camera. It turns itself off in 2 seconds of nonuse (very annoying), takes a long time to turn itself back on when you turn it on (long long time when you are taking pics- like atleast 60 seconds!) and then when you click to take the pic- it pauses like 2-3 seconds before taking the pics. So ofcourse that's difficult to take spur of the moment action pics of people on horses! LOL

I had one glass of wine (it was all you can drink- but I'm not a drinker at all) and got a little tipsy. Until I got stuffed with the food and then I was fine after that. LOL The show was great... they even had (hard to explain though- you have to go see it!) Texas/Country/Indian parts to the show (Go Texas!!) which was surprising to me. After all- we weren't in Texas anymore! LOL

So where's my camera? The last time I remembered touching it was when we left I still had it in my hand as we went to the bathroom at the exterior of Epcot. Since hubby said it wasn't in the stroller or van- it had to be there where I had hung it on the door to use the restroom at Epcot! It was closed by that time but I had called earlier asking if they could go look at that bathroom- they said they would call someone in cleaning or something like that- but when I called later they said they hadn't gotten around to calling them yet. :( It had been hours- I was sure it was gone by then. But I hoped even if someone took it- that they'd be kind enough to take the film out and leave it somewhere! I was so distraught.. our first time in Epcot and a FULL roll of pictures taken- just gone. :( I didn't even care about the camera- just wanted those pics!

So we went back and hubby dropped me off as close as he could and I walked like 400 miles (well it felt like it at that time! LOL We couldn't find the guest drop off area after driving around quite awhile!) to that bathroom. I searched the door- not there... I even kinda glanced in the trash but it had obviously been changed since we left since they were all almost totally empty. I was so sad. I walked back the 400 miles again (haha) and just on a hunch after really giving myself a hard time the entire walk back (in my mind ofcourse) I decide to give a look in the stroller/back of minivan JUST in case.

And you guessed it- that sucker was right there all along! I swear for a moment there I had violent actions towards my husband in my thoughts. LOL Last time I have him look for something! It caused me to have no good pics of the Arabian Nights outting and all that walking and stressing out and even checking TRASH CANS... all because he is blind or something. Darn camera was right there in the stroller- didn't even have to unfold it to see the camera. Geesh

But sooo glad to know I hadn't lost my pics! So I got over my angry thoughts by the time I got in the van and we took off to go home. :)
Same as usual- everyone in baths/bed and asleep while I stay up late (yes, I'm the insomniac of the family) making plans for the next day! Next day's plans is MGM Studios!!!!
