is 174 days too soon to post a pre report? Oh well! I just finished making my ADR's for my first ever trip to The World! I'm so excited to get this show on the road! After months of research and plan development, I finally think I have a good schedule. I'll do a brief intro :)

The theme of this trip is the number 1 -- It is my 1st trip to Disney (and consequently the first time doing everything that comes with it - staying on-site, eating at disney restaurants, etc), This is also my husband's 1st trip to Disney, It will be our daughters 1st first trip to Disney and they will both have just turned 1 when we go. It is also my husbands and daughters 1st time to Florida, and their 1st time on a plane - so this is expected to be a big trip!

First things first, let me introduce you to the cast

That's me - Ashley aka: Disney Mama! This was on one of the best days of my life - the day I was finally able to bring my babies home from the hospital after two long months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit! My girls were born two months prematurely due to intrauterine growth restriction - which is a fancy way of saying they stopped growing at 32 weeks. They are my miracle babies <3

A little bit about me - I'm 24 and a Disney fanatic! My biggest interest aside from my kids and Disney is cooking. I LOVE to cook GREAT food! My mom was a fantastic cook, so I blame her for my obnoxiously high expectations ;) I don't like food, I LOVE it - and if I don't love it, I don't swallow! ...Okay so that's not entirely true, I've had my share of nights waiting in the drive-thru line at Taco Bell, which is anything but gourmet. Still, when I spend a lot of money on a meal, I expect a lot of pay off :)

This is Papa Bear! My husband, best friend, and love of my life! He is a Disney baby, but I'm working on it - he is super patient with my DisObsession :) He is financially responsible, super outgoing, kind and patient nearly to a fault, and just basically the best man I've ever known.

And these are my reasons for living! Looberry (London) on the left, and Love Bug (Evie) on the right. They're identical twin girls and some of the sweetest babies that ever lived. They make my life complete

And last but certainly not least, my mom, Grandma! So originally DH and I were going to come on this trip alone but we had some complications with arranging child care for the girls. Being so young, I just didn't want them being shifted around - so we decided that it would be better to bring them with us and pay for my mom to come as a babysitter. So that's what we'll be doing!

I may be meeting up with friends during the trip, but that remains to be seen.

SO! Onto the good stuff!

AH! Reservation day changes everything!! Here's the new schedule :)

And then family members, who previously assured me they had no opinion, objected to some of the choices. *grumble grumble* so now it's been revised yet again! :rolleyes2

So that's where we are now! But you know, there's still 6 months until the trip, so we'll see! ;)

You have a beautiful family. The babies are so pretty. Such big smiles. Have a wonderful time at WDW. Grandma's are wonderful aren't we :). I watch my two (boy 7 and girl 4 just about everyday). Best thing my husband and I did was give Daughter and son-in-law property right behind us. They can walk to my back door from their front door and I can watch them the whole way. Takes 30-45 mins to get here. I hope your mom is close as we grandmas are so handy to have around. :)

The 174 days will go fast. I heard or read some where that people need to be packed a week before trip. I guess it takes so much stress away that travelers stay healthy and do not get what they called travel stress illness. Worth a try as you need to get so many packed.

Have a wonderful time planning :)

Sounds like fun, you have a lot of great ADRs, but I don't think even I could eat that much food :lmao:

This days in particular strike me as difficult...difficult to eat that much food and difficult to get anything done in the parks. But to each her own.

lol! Yes, we have a lot of food planned, but that was really the point of the trip. My husband isn't hugely into rides. Like I said, it's still a ways out, this plan has changed a handful of times and I'm sure it will again :)

I was thinking it sounded like a lot of food/meals, too, but then I thought about how that may be easier with a couple of little ones. It looks like they are around the same age as my son (he'll be 8 mos. next week) and I think it would be easier to plan a more laid back trip and not focus on rides so much. Plus, if you are doing the DxDP, you may as well take advantage of it!

Your princesses are adorable, by the way.

You are probably better at pacing yourself than I would be :rotfl:

In 2009, we ate at Tusker House for a later breakfast (like 9:30)...we then had a lemonade slush for lunch (I had planned on Flame Tree CS)...then Ohana at 5pm We were really not even that hungry for Ohana, but we did manage :lmao:

For our family, it was really too much to have two AYCE in one day, but we over indulge at those places

Thank you!! I think they're pretty awesome, myself :D

And yes, this was never intended to be a "go, go, go!" trip. The next time we come back the girls will be old enough to actually enjoy the park, so we won't do a meal plan, or if we do it will be a QS/DDP. Congrats on your little man! Aside from the teething (blech... :headache:) I love them at this age!

Do you know, I didn't even realize we had two AYCE's in one day! haha oh my. Fear not, we are BIG eaters. I think maybe they forget a baby inside, because I can still put food away like a pregnant woman! lol :rotfl:
