Our 180 days are coming up- ressie? for new DVC member

So our 1st DVC trip will be this December. So happy to hear the online system is working now!

A list of questions I have for people here though.

1. Are the online ressies for DVC only for meals?
2. What time do online bookings start from the DVC website vs the Disney site vs calling?
3. If I want to make ressies for things like Pirate League, BBB and more, I have to call someone right? Can I call Disney ressies or must I wait for MS to open?
4. Anyone know when CP dinner packages will open up or can we make one of those arrangements now? Which restaurants have packages? Is it every night so I can plan ahead?
5. Is the pirate fireworks cruise available in Dec and can we make ressies now at 180 out?
6. Any suggestions for other ressies we should make? My DS will be 4 and I'd like to do things like Wishes Dessert Party but I know those ADRs won't be available yet....

I took the morning off from work the day of my 180 mark to get this all done so I need to be prepared of course haha.

1. On-line reservations are either for room or meals. Tours, Pirate League, BBB, etc are by phone only.
2. There is only one dining reservation system. The link on the member website takes you to disneyworld.com/dining. I believe the on-line dining rolls to new day around 6am eastern, 407-WDW-DINE opens at 7am eastern, MS opens at 9am eastern.
3. BBB call (407) 939-7895, Pirate League call (407) 939-2739 (both numbers probably ring to same call center).
4. CP packages probably not until July.

1. Online reservations for DVC is only for lodging. You can book your home resort at 11 months out, a non-home resort at seven months out.

2. ADRs are only booked via the Disney website. You can call DVC member Services and they can book, but they don't open as early as the Dining line does.

3-6. For those special events, you should call WDW Play.

I was also wondering if someone needed to move this thread to a different area I'm ok with that. I was a little confused where to put it and now I see I stuck it in Resorts! I think that was a "FAIL"! Sorry!

Actually if you sign in to the DVC website and go to Vacation Center you can access the Disney Dining booking page from there.

It is listed on the left hand side of the page.

I did see that and I have seen people reporting that they seem to have fixed the DVC "issue" where people can't make ressies before! So I'm hoping to get our 1st 10 days of the trip's ADRs booked then I will have to wait for the rest of the trip I guess...GRR! Then I will call to book the other stuff I guess. Already got my Christmas Party tickets
