This was our second trip to Disney using the deluxe dining plan but the first with Ds(10) and me being gluten free. I will try to give a full report for anyone who is interested. It may take me a few days to finish.

The Kona Dinner

My meal - The Kona Salad with no blue cheese or nuts, shrimp and scallops with no sauce, and the Kilauea Torte for dessert. They brought out white GF rolls. They were good with the butter they have there.

Ds - had a hamburger with GF bun with fries and an ice cream sundae for dessert.

Overall the meal was good but not great. The Chef was nice and polite.

Crystal Palace Lunch

A lot on the buffet was naturally gluten free. I got mashed potatoes, ham, a salad, broccoli, etc. The chef brought us out GF brownies for dessert - these are made in house and are VERY good!

Akershus Breakfast

The waitress was also had an GF allergy. She was very nice. The chef gave us a special plate of eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash browns instead of the hash brown casserole they make. We also got fruit from the buffet. It was very good!

Boma Breakfast

Our favorite breakfast of the trip. Eggs, fruit, bacon, and ham off the buffet and then the chef brought us GF Mickey waffles and GF DONUTS! They were very good! We always got special syrup when we got GF waffles also. This was an EXCELLENT meal. The chef seemed kind and did not act like we were bothering him like some did.
