Awesome picture! You mentioned in your post that you didn't have the small bottles of lotion. Did you have the small bars of soap?

Is that the average sized fridge for a villa at WDW? It seemed smaller than pics of ones I've seen at other WDW resort villas.

Thank you so much for the post and pictures. We stayed a AKL for my birthday a couple years ago and loved it!!!! We are still deciding about joining DVC - you are making my decision pretty easy. I just love AKL and sitting on my porch watching "my" personal giraffe. I think we are going to have to do it!!!! Not sure where we'll get the money, but what the heck you only live once!!!

Like you, we're spending 1 night in a Savannah view studio on October 13th. I hope we get a nice view like yours!

One year we stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and had a view of what we called "The Vulture Savannah" The vultures wings were clipped so they couldn't fly and every evening at feeding time, they'd come walking in. Kind of sad

But yours look great!!! Maybe I'll request your room!

ohhh, thanks for bumping because it reminds me that next summer when we go visit my DD while she's in the College Program( I'm putting out major pixie dust here that she'll be accepted ) we want to stay at AKV. It'll just be DH and me plus her BF's mom's family and they LOVE AKV.
