OTU Points

Quick question about OTU points. I know you can purchase 24 each use year for $15 per point. So for example, If I borrow 2018 points for a stay this summer and buy OTU points they are still for my 2017 UY even though the points are 2018, correct??

You can only purchase OTU points when you make a reservation seven months or less out. If you borrow 2018 points, they become 2017 UY points and cannot be returned to 2018 UY.

I realize I worded that wrong, and I think I already actually had the answer anyway, lol Being sick has my mind all scrambled, but what beats planning a trip to make me feel better! Thanks!!
