other resale outlets?

Does anyone know of any reputable timeshare resale places that deal with DVC other than the timeshare store? I am looking to beat their commission rate of 12%! If I can't, well, I can't, but I'd like to see if there is a better deal for sellers out there. Some are selling for $67, which is what I paid for my BWV points in 2000 and less than I paid for my VWL points. (I'm keeping one contract and selling the other; not sure which one yet).

We purchased from Jaki Apetz at a Timeshare Broker. Did not buy from her so can't tell you that part of the equation.

If it was any other timeshare I would say give it to an agent, but for Disney, I would suggest using TUG and sell it yourself. TUG - Timeshare Users Group


For the closing, I have used this company before and they were great -

I think once you and your buyer agree on a price, you send off a letter to Disney for ROFR. Then let the closing company handle the rest.
