Well I am very bummed that we aren't going to get to go to the party. Since we decided very last minute to take a quick trip to CA the tickets to the party have of course been sold out for a while now. :( What else will we be able to experience Halloween wise just during normal times....and also I am guessing they wont be adding any extra party days right?!?!? We will be there for 4 nights but only one of those nights there is a party date. We have done MNSSHP and I was so excited about the DLR party! Guess that is what we get for being so last minute!!! But none the less excited to go to DLR!!!! Thanks!!

If you are staying at one of he Disney hotels, I've heard they have a limit d number of tickets available for same-day purchase. Otherwise, the Halloween carnival at The ranch, the ride overlays at Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion and the decorations everywhere will be available for your trip. You will miss the treat trails, fireworks and unique party events but I think you'll still have a great trip that will feel very seasonal. Also, if for some reason the Scream fireworks show is canceled the night of the party, they will show it the next night. Cross your fingers!

There have also been reports of folks getting party tickets the day of the party at the ticket windows.

It is highly unlikely that they'll add any party nights, so you're best bet is to inquire at the hotel guest services (if you're staying onsite) or try a ticket window/guest services first thing in the morning (day of the party). I've heard reports that hotel guests were successful in getting tickets, but I haven't heard anything about ticket windows (so I don't know how likely that option is).

Aside from MHP, you will still be able to check out the Halloween Carnival at Big Thunder Ranch, Haunted Mansion Holiday, and Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy. Some of the decorations are out all day and you'll be able to see some of them go up on the party day (before you have to leave the park). You can also watch Halloween Screams (the fireworks show) from the Esplanade. You won't be able to see it all, but you'll be able to see the bursts.

Have you tried calling the ticket office? They may still have some available, even if it sold out on-line.

there are normally a number of tickets they save for that night. If you want to get in talk to some one on the phone at one of the hotels or in person at the gate.

They have a limited number of tickets that go on sale to hotel guests day of. We were there for the first Friday. Tickets went on sale at 6am, and they were sold out by 10am.

It is way too late to be adding additional parties. That would negatively impact those who have already planned trips, with days at the MK, where they planned to be in MK on a non party day.

However,
The popularity might lead to more parties being offered next year.
They seem to offer more parties at WDW than at DL. But the WDW parties don't seem to have the sell-out rate for as many days.

I wonder why people are willing to pay more for the WDW party, than for the DL party, on Halloween, on the re-sale market. I noticed that one could get 4 tickets to the DL party for $800 (as a buy now). I noticed auctions for the WDW party, Halloween night, 3 tickets for over $2000 (over $600 per ticket).

So based on Sold Out dates, I would guess the DL party has higher demand vs availability than the WDW party.

Last year I went to the party in WDW on September 13 (a Friday) and experienced very low crowds.

Are there still people who stand near the cross walk on Harbor Blvd, selling tickets?
Does this occur for the Halloween Party?
I personally would never risk buying one of these tickets.

My tickets are e-tickets. I can print multiple copies.
If I did want to sell one of the tickets (due to someone in my party not showing up), I wonder if it would be hard to find a buyer.
