Other Christmas events/activities?

We are in Orlando Dec. 16th-24th. We have Disney APs and will be staying off-site. Just wondering if there are any other cool Christmas things to do in that area....light displays, special events, etc. I know about ICE. Is there anything else special? Not really looking for theme park stuff at Sea World, Universal, etc....more interested in smaller events. We do have a car and don't mind a bit of a drive for something cool. I know that, a few years ago, they had nightly snowfall and some other fun stuff in Celebration. Anybody know if they still do that?
