We are headed to Disney at the end of May. My kids will be taking their own money that they have saved up. Rather that carry cash for them, I would rather them have some sort of card. I was thinking that we would just get them Disney gift cards, however, my son spends most of his money in Downtown Disney at the Lego store. So I was wondering what other card options that we have. I looked at the prepaid Visa's tonight, but there was a $5.44 fee on every $100 card, which would mean neary $30 in fees, well actually more/less, because they would need 2 $100 cards each and a $50 card each, since they each have $250. I was thinking that our bank may have some sort of card that we could get, and am wondering if anyone had any ideas for us. I don't mind a fee, just don't want to pay $30. Thanks for any help :D

when my kids have cash for vacation spending, I just put their purchases on my credit card and keep the cash at home. we both keep track of how much is being spent so we don't spend more than they have available in cash. It's just easier for us than carrying cash around and/or buying those prepaid Visa cards...I hate those extra fees!
